We started by giving Anna a list of what we wanted and didn't want and she took it from there coming back with several options. Life got busy so we were not the most attentive clients but she stuck with us. Went the extra mile to give us recommendations, consulted with her colleagues to make sure we had all the information. Kept in contact keeping us up to date on deals. Finally we made our decision and even though we hit a snag thanks to an issue with the vacation we chose, Anna came through and got us another great deal. We cannot WAIT for our holiday now. Can't recommend Anna highly enough if you want an agent who listens and is invested in making her clients happy.

Fantastic experience: We worked with Kim A in order to plan our 25th anniversary trip to Vegas. As people who haven't travelled in a very long time, she helped us plan it and gave us great ideas of what we could do. She was awesome. We did have some hiccups which were beyond Kim's control but she took care of them for us so we didn't have to worry. We highly recommend Kim to plan your next adventure.

Fantastic experience: After checking into a flight that had unexpectedly switched airlines on me and put me on a connecting flight, I approached Angela Porcellato for assistance. The airline tried to pass off the change as a flight now operated by United, without notifying me. Unaware of my rights, I was in a difficult situation. Angela made a call to the airline and successfully changed my flights to direct ones with another carrier at no additional cost to me. I was so relieved that I didn't have to deal with connecting flights and could still keep my original baggage requirements. Thank you Angela for your help!

Negative experience: We used Lori Birch for our destination wedding for approx 60 people and had feedback from many many guests that she was difficult to work with and I definitely agree. Would not recommend for destinations weddings.

Fantastic experience: In August of 2022, we went on a trip to Charlottetown planned by Angela and it was one of the best trips of my life! I am a busy university student and I wanted a last minute and affordable trip that I wouldn’t have to plan myself. I couldn’t believe how quickly Angela had our entire trip booked! She found us dirt cheap flights, and an amazing bed and breakfast close to downtown Charlottetown. The restaurants she recommended were all fantastic, from a chowder house right on the coast to oyster bars and a steakhouse in Charlottetown. We had reservations for all of them. I told her I enjoyed fishing and she planned a deep sea fishing charter for us and it was exactly what I was hoping for! She also booked our trip during a holiday in PEI so there was a parade and other fun activities happening while we were there and was able to get us great transportation even during the busy time! It was a fantastic trip and I’m definitely going to trust her to plan our next one! Thank you Angela!

Negative experience: Horrible! Booked our 25th anniversary trip to Portugal. We booked 4 and 5 star accommodations. Absolutely filthy surroundings. I would not unpack for fear of bedbugs. Clumps of hair left. Dirty bed. No blanket. Broken everything. Contacted Northstar immediately on their advise left the property with assurances it would be handled by our agency. Now 6 months later have had zero response to emails. Phone calls. Am being told that I need to take it up with the contractor that northstar star hired. As they are in Portugal no response from goway travel. I strongly urge you to chose any other agent that is not associated with Northstar travel. You could not do worse.

Fantastic experience: Chris Shoemaker has been our travel agent for many years and we are extremely happy with her service. All travel plans are so thoroughly researched and detailed and always include our specific needs. We can call Chris at any time with urgent time sensitive travel plans and know that she will make it happen. She is always accessible and she responds quickly to our messages and requests. She is well versed in all travel plans and, intuitively provides us with details that she knows we like to incorporate into our plans. When our son experienced problems with a trip home this past Christmas, she problem solved, while she was on vacation herself, to get him home. As well, Chris recently assisted our son to get home from Europe within a day of our request. She has also assisted us in planning our 40th anniversary trip to Spain this month. There is great communication at all times and always a follow up call to ask about the trip and the experience.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with Krista Kreutzer. She never informed me about documents I needed for my trip to the Philippines this cost me over $ 3000 extra. I was refused boarding a airplane in Vancouver. I tried to negotiate my problem I encountered with her with no response from her she just stopped answering my Emails . Do not book with her as she is none professional. Sir your comments are not true. Why are you talking about a visa( I fixed this) it was the health certificate that got me stuck in Vancouver. How can I phone you when nobody answers the phone and your agent didn't (wont) give me her extension #. What you told Tico is false . You didn't even answer my 2 Emails . Is this is how you treat your customers by ignoring them ? As far as invoices send copies to me, you can't as I never received any. As you know invoices are signed by the customer . Putting the blame on me will not solve this. I assume you know what I'm telling you

We were referred by a friend and I am SO glad we used her. She always replies in a timely manner, is VERY knowledgeable about all the resorts. We can text her any time and she gets back to us right away. Our next upcoming trip is an anniversary celebration for my parents. Fantastic experience: It was our first experience with someone other than flightcenter and we were very impressed. First of all, Petra's call back time from my message was amazing. She asked many questions and listened our needs and wants. She had a few great options which led me to find the perfect resort! Barcelo Maya Tropical. She planned and arranged it all with Transat and Airways transit. This was extra work accommodating my scooter and disability. We will be back the next time!

Just try calling the agency and see if you can get through to a person since you wont be able to do anything without the agent doing it for you. Go through a carrier directly and save yourself hours of headaches. The company will not help you if you run into issues.

No customer service skills, definitely not the guest experience I was looking for, rude, pushy attitude, endless errors, and obvious lack of experience with Sunwing vacation policies.

Negative experience: RUN don't walk away from this Travel agency run as far away as possible. Booked with this company( back in 2020) and bought the worry free cancelation insurance. My niece canceled her wedding. I have been trying to get or refund- credit back ever since. The owner( Mike) did give us back 200.00 e-transfer and said he would talk to Sunwing about the rest of the refund. Two trip later and still trying to get our refund.

We took her advice and purchased the Cancel For Any Reason insurance, which allowed us to get our money back...not just a credit. Yuo just NEVER know what could happen. She had great tips, and I felt like we were in good hands with her handling all of the details on our behalf. Fantastic experience: Chris Shoemaker’s the best of the best. She is so friendly and treats you like you are her only client. She will tell you if she thinks a resort or place isn’t for you and opens you up to more options. She looks after every little detail. Does everything but pack your bags and loves to hear about your trip. She goes out of her way to make sure your trip is exactly what you are looking for. I will not use anyone else and highly recommend her. She goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great trip. Her enthusiasm is contagious and is awesome in helping to plan large group trips.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Northstar travel and their travel agent Krystle Thompson! She is amazing. I have been on two vacation trips booked through krystle. I told her what we like and what our budget is, sure enough both trips were amazing. One was a cruise and one was an all inclusive resort. My husband and I were ecstatically happy with her recommendation. We are looking forward to our next cruise in January 2020 that is also booked with Northstar travel through Krystle.

Fantastic experience: I've been dealing with Jennifer George for my last 4 trips and have had the most amazing time. We give her an idea of what we want to spend and she sends lists and lists of resorts. In fact we just got back from Dreams Palm Beach in the DR that she recommended. Had an amazing time. I would call her for every trip for now on. If your going with a large group not to worry. Jenn managed to get 21 of us to Las Cabos without a glitch and got us all in the same building. The service is always well above what is expected.
