Fantastic experience: Very knowledgeable staff who went the extra mile to book our cruise with all the amenities we wanted on a tight time frame. They also found us a considerably cheaper flight than the one we were looking at booking on our own. Better to leave bookings to the travel pros! I will not hesitate to use the services of this travel agency again for our next trip.

Fantastic experience: I have been dealing with John and his staff for over 15 years now. They are always so helpful, friendly and we get great pricing. I referred my sister and husband when they were booking a cruise and they were able to do all their bookings with John via email and phone. Fantastic experience: I have been dealing with John and Valerie for a number of years and will continue to do so. In 2011 my passport was stolen in Brussels the night before my return flight. John went out of his way to help me cancel my flight and dealt with the airline to find an alternate flight once I received a replacement passport. You wont get this type of support from an online booking site, guaranteed. As for prices, Valerie always finds prices comparable to the cheapest online offerings. So do your research and planning and then go see the experts at Orleans Travel.

Negative experience: We put in more effort than the company to put our package together, trying to fix the issues they left us up until the day before a planned destination wedding

Negative experience: Had the worst experience booking destination wedding trip where the administrative side and customer service from John completely left me in tears as the bride. After collecting payment, did not issue invoices or booking # until months later and just days before flight. He had me distribute all the information for our party as he neglected to collect their details leaving them feeling completely in the dark and lost. Save yourself the grief and book with someone else.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I just got back from an escorted tour in South Africa with John and Andrea. It definitely exceeded our expectations. They ensured we saw everything that we had wanted too and had many surprises in the itinerary for us too! This was a group of 24 and there was something for everybody. We were fortunate to have an amazing group of people that blended very well together - but it was John and Andrea that went above and beyond to ensure it all went smoothly. I would not hesitate to book with them again in the future.

It included everything we could ask for and more. Even though this was my dream trip my husband was pleasantly surprised how much he really enjoyed it. Negative experience: Beware that they don't suspect you for looking at quotes elsewhere or they will charge you a consultation fee of 67.50 per person to make sure you book with them.

Fantastic experience: We went on John and Andrea's Italy Culinary Tour in Sept 2023. If I could give more stars I would. This small group tour exceeded all our expectations and we would highly recommend it for anyone. This 14 day tour of Italy sampling the many diverse culinary styles has everything - from a dedicated tour manager and driver, local expert guides, walking tours with historical details and landmarks, cooking lessons, four course meals with wine pairings, wine tastings, cheese tastings, pasta making, balsamic vinegar tastings, and pasta, gelato and so much more. Never the same menu twice and everything was absolutely delicious! They had a great balance of tours and free time for each location. Totally stress free travel with our tour manager providing daily updates on the next day's activities, recommended restaurants and recommended museums, sights and activities. Well worth the price. Can't wait to go on another of John and Andrea's organized trips!

The tour was perfectly organized by John and Andrea, a great mix of scheduled events and free time. Fantastic experience: My husband and I just returned from the Culinary tour of Italy. 5 star trip! Excellent flights on Air France from Ottawa ( no need to go through Toronto or Montreal!) Many highlights on this trip. It was my first time in Italy. Saw all the popular cultural sites many included. Multiple cooking classes, wine pairings and so much more included! I highly recommend this tour. John and Andrea and tour manager Mara excellent! Always info given on the next day’s activities, suggestions for optional sites to see and suggestions on restaurants. Hotels all great and very well located. Even included a stay in a villa with a lovely pool! We also travelled to South Africa with John and Andrea in 2022. Amazing tour! Highly recommend it! Negative experience: Called and left a message for my family (12 people) to travel for Christmas 2 weeks ago and never heard back. I’m not sure if their really busy or what but we ended up going somewhere else.

Negative experience: Horrible service! Called to book a trip for us for Turkey and end up being called 'scammers'. If good service is what you’re looking for, you won’t find it here!

Fantastic experience: John helped us plan our honeymoon to Greece and Italy. He helped us pick cities and gave us 3 hotels in each place based on our budget to pick from. He was very very helpful and booked all our excursions. He answered all of our many questions! We will for sure contact him in the future !

Positive experience: Booked with Orleans Travel & Cruise Centre based on reviews. Very communicative during the booking process and the recommendations for the resort was good. However, once you book poor communication and if you have concerns they have no answers for you. Didn’t give me much information on insurance which during these times is highly recommended. I felt like this business wanted my money and didn’t care for their customers. Will not be booking with them again.

Negative experience: It seems John is not interested in my business. He was quick to dismiss me assuming I wanted an airbnb or vrbo accommodation, which is not the case had he bothered to inquire. In response; generally a customer is greeted, and asked how the vendor can be of service. As I mentioned above I was not asked questions, only met with assumptions. I did not ask what your agency cannot do therefore I do not expect to be cited regulations. I pointed out in my message my party size, the date of arrival, the date of departure, my budget, and my expectation...none of these were addressed in my initial correspondence... if I had been in person I likely would have spit on the floor and walked out. As you mentioned it took 48 hours for you to establish that I want a f'@*ing resort in florida for 6 days... and I get sent a link to expedia... Do you really think I havent already looked at expedia!? I will do everything in my power to dissuede people from doing business with you. This could all have been avoided by exuding the slightest bit of positive customer service and tact. Since you habe tried to discredit me, I feel obliged to return the favor and expose you for the scoundrels you are.

They have never steered me wrong and were always able to answer, or find me the answers, to my many questions. But beyond this excellent service, they also provide peace of mind as they don’t simply send you on your way, but are also there for you when you need assistance from abroad! Fantastic experience: I recently came back from a Panama Canal cruise that I booked through Orleans Travel & Cruise Centre. I really needed John's help to sort out all the different requirements of this cruise and to make it safe for me as I was travelling solo. Due to an unexpected delay at the airport, I was late getting to the cruising port and was denied access to enter the port. I was devastated. I immediately called John. I was alone in Miami and there wasn't a single person around to help me. John had already booked a hotel for me in Miami for the night and a flight out the next day to meet the cruise ship. He paid for my 2 nights in Columbia as I waited for the ship to arrive. Before I left for my cruise, John gave me a cell number and told me to call 24/7 if I had a problem. Well, I didn't think I would be calling but I am happy that John had already made all the arrangements so that my vacation would still be as memorable as I hoped for. Thank you John!

Fantastic experience: I often do a lot of my own booking but there are times when you need a travel professional -- multiple countries, open-jaw itineraries, new resort/cruise line questions -- and the team at Orleans Travel & Cruise Centre never disappoints.
