Negative experience: Ultimately the responsibably of ensuring your trip insurance is correct, is the travellers responsibility, however, part of that responsibility is the agents. A total review of said policy before purchase should be a part of a person's booking with the agent selling you the trip. In addition, when this person is trying to decide if they should cancel this same trip due to a family issue, and in turn calls the company they booked through to ensure their policy allows this without losing it all, it would have been great to be given the correct info. Instead, we were advised the wrong information, and thus we lost the trip and the money. No biggie to the agent, no biggie to Tripcentral, but to the person whom is now out the trip, and the money, its a big deal.

Negative experience: I called and inquired about a trip to Cuba four months in advance and received a good price. However, I was not yet done all my research and was not ready to commit. Within 48 hours the high pressure sale tactics started. I started receiving emails stating that the hotel I was looking at was filling up and they were increasing the price to stay. Then the phone calls started. "You better book now or you risk paying a lot more." The worst thing is that while doing my online research over several weeks the prices stayed the same. This company is nothing more than a bunch of used car salesmen! When I confronted them about it they denied that they would do such a thing. Yet I have all the emails as evidence to the contrary. Booo. Shame on you Trip Central!

Fantastic experience: As a novice traveller, I was grateful to have Carol's expertise as we planned a trip to Israel this week. She was quick to respond to inquiries, find a tour that met our expectations and budget, and she found flights for a fair price. Carol gave me some great advice! Looking forward to a wonderful trip.

Fantastic experience: We weren't going south this year, at least until just after 830 Friday morning when some vacation newcomers asked us for advice. I dropped in at 9 to visit Carol and find some vacation options that worked for our group of 6. By 930 I had a reasonable set of options to present to our little group over the weekend. By Monday at 930 she had us all booked with varying sets of preferences (I like to upgrade). I realize that some of this was just the stars aligning but, without her knowledge and expertise, we likely wouldn't be able to take advantage of that alignment. This is my third experience booking with her. Our first trip had a few glitches that were none of her doing but she still made good on it. Our second was great. Now this one has the potential to be amazing. I'm keeping Carol, she's my agent!

Fantastic experience: This is my second time booking with Sara Zubiak through Trip Central. Last year I took my first trip alone, to Holguin, Cuba. I let Sara know my wishes and concerns re: travelling solo. She was patient and helpful in answering my numerous questions. So, this time I wanted to bring my hubby along and had no hesitation in contacting Sara again. We will be off to Varadero in a few months and if the resort is anything like my experience working with Sara, it will be an awesome trip!
