Negative experience: I recently reached out to Marlin Travel for assistance with planning a Tuscany trip. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Initially, I submitted a detailed request through their website's contact form, specifying our travel dates, preferred departure cities, and budget constraints. In response, I received an email from an agent , asking for more information to help tailor a suitable travel package. However, instead of offering direct assistance or providing a customized travel package, they directed me to look at Air Canada Vacations and Transat holidays for duration and pricing ideas. This left me puzzled and frustrated, as I had expected a more personalized and professional service from a travel agency. Overall, I found the service provided by Marlin Travel to be inadequate and disappointing. I expected this agent to offer more personalized assistance or at least recommend a specialized agent within the agency. Based on this experience, I would think twice before using Marlin Travel for future travel arrangements and would caution others to manage their expectations when seeking assistance from this agency.

Negative experience: Travel booking was made by my parents and was truly bizarre. I wish I'd spent more time examining the travel before the trip, instead of assuming that because it was booked by a professional agent, it would make sense and be cost effective. Essentially, flights to Mexico were routed through the U.S., meaning, of course, multiple customs checks and retrieving and rebooking luggage. The price was not competitive with what a friend found --she booked on the same date but flied on Aeromexico (she paid half what we did). Also, the flight times seemed unnecessarily early. I'm not sure what I was expecting with travel agency assisted bookings, but I certainly was not expecting worse flights than I could have arranged myself. Agent was dismissive of feedback and concerns. Won't be using them again. Recommend that others don't either

Fantastic experience: Had to book a last minute flight to Vancouver from Ottawa to pick up another car because when you hit A black bear, it can total your SUV. The very nice lady (sorry nice lady, l forgot your name) had booked a flight for me in three days AND under $700 on Air Canada. Sorry West Jet, there's NO comparison to Air Canada even in economy class. Thanks Marlin Travel Thomas P.S. The extra one and a half foot leg room space and the 12"x7" video screen in front of my seat with free TV programs and movies, music.... need I say more. "FLY WELL"

Positive experience: Over the years, we have traveled to a number of Sandals Resorts. Debbie Campbell has always guided us through the process with suggestions, guidance and advice. Without fail, she has always met and frequently exceeded our expectations. It's a measure of our appreciation that she's the only travel advisor we use and now in 2022 as we hit the road again she has been there to get things organized. She is without exception a brilliant and dependable lady. You would be well served if she's advising you too.
