Fantastic experience: Due to all the options online and my tech savviness I never thought I would ever go back to travel agency for help; however, Gillian at this Travel Transat location has proven me wrong. It is great to have the option of asking questions to someone who knows better than you, and has access to a wider range of options for you to pick from, while proving you with great advise at the same time. Thank you Gillian for guiding me in booking my vacations for 2 years in a row.

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic experience with Jim when he booked a European trip across several countries for my family 10 years ago! So much so, that when we decided on another big trip to Greece 10 years later, we picked up the phone hoping that Jim was still involved in travel. We just came back from 2 weeks in Greece that Jim organized for us over several islands. It was absolutely fantastic. Great hotels, transfers, restaurant reservations, and fun excursions across the 2 weeks! We had the ultimate confidence in Jim putting this trip together for us and he certainly did not disappoint. Everything was absolutely wonderful! Whenever we decide on our next big adventure we will be calling Jim!

Negative experience: Please dont use this travel agency. I had an absolutely terrible experience with this travel agency. I paid the travel agent fee twice to avoid any potential consequences from Air Canada stike (which lucky did not happen). I just found out that tickets are free to cancel 24 hours after they are purchased with Air Canada. Do not waste your time and use another travel agency. One of my biggest regrets is ignoring the other reviews that also said that this place had poor customer service. I will never use this place again because the customer service is horrendous. I highly recommend that you go somewhere else for your travel needs.

Negative experience: Came here with my girlfriend there were 4 people working none of them with any clients. Not one of them wanted to look up and greet us when we walked in? When the girl finally said to her other co worker can u help them, he didn’t look up from his computer asked maybe two questions about where we wanted to go and the date, then said look it up online because we charge $425 pp and literally did not help at all. I don’t understand how your job is to help and accommodate people when you dismissed us without even hearing us out and seeing what we needed. Shout out John for the horrible customer service!!

Fantastic experience: Working with Jim was very easy and pleasant experience. Jim organized a multi city trip for my parents in Portugal. Everything went smoothly and they were extremely happy with their trip. Highly recommend Jim!

Fantastic experience: This review is for my wife and myself wrt our pleasure of working with Franca Campagna. Our most recent May 2024 Mediterranean cruise planning was a no-brainer to use Franca for her travel talents. She has been our stalwart go to for everything travel since 2015. Franca is a consumate professional who works diligently to consult, source, plan, book all of our travel arrangements. We could not do it without her! She has grown to be a cherished friend who understands our travel needs and puts herself in our shoes and has conversations with us and is such an intuitive listener.(such a rare trait). Without hyperbole, she is the hardest working travel agent we know and can think of. We put our faith in Franca and our respect for her is deeply rooted. We look forward to each call with her, as she takes the time to not only be an extremely talented travel specialist, but she is a naturally caring person who continues her relationship with us. Once any booking has been done, she stays with us through our trip and is there for us if problems arise on the trip for example we had to contact her regarding a transfer issue that cropped up in Italy, and Franca was there for us with a much needed solution. She is a godsend! Franca has also arranged pre-cruise flight, hotel stays with expertise/knowledge to put our concerns at ease. Not only is she an expert with Cruise travel Franca is a guru at finding fantastic hotels in the best locations central to important sites and travel hubs. We really appreciate her shared understanding that our recreational travel doesn't just include our Mediterranean cruise for example, but that it begins/ends with the flights/airports. She is so valuable in making sure absolutely everything runs smoothly and that we are getting the best value for our travel dollar. We wholeheartedly endorse Franca for her exhaustive efforts, detailed attention to her job and cannot recommend her highly enough! She truly cares about her industry and our needs. She is an amazing travel specialist we have referred many others to because we are so enthralled with her. We continue to praise Franca for her extensive knowledge and her personalized care! We have booked our next Adriatic cruise with her for next spring and a relaxing vacation in Scottsdale Arizona this August as a testament to her abilities.

Fantastic experience: Jim from Transat travel has been an enormous help with all my bookings. He is efficient, knowledgeable and has gone out of his way make it a pleasant trip

Negative experience: This is the worst place to book a vacation. First email they asked for 200 for booking which is fine at time of booking. Not before getting any information .. Do yourself a favour stay away from this place. Tell everyone Rude ! It’s not about the fee they charge it’s how it was brought to my attention. With no explanation what so ever. Any how booked elsewhere !!

Fantastic experience: Gillian is the BEST agent I've ever worked with, and I've worked with a many. She is always ready to help us find the best trip to fit our needs. Gillian always gives us lots of options and suggestions. She replies to ALL of our emails, that we have. Gillian just helped us with our last trip, and it was all her suggestion, it turned out to be the best trip we've ever been on! Everything was PERFECT! I love that we can go to her and tell her what we are looking for and what is important to us and she somehow finds it all and more, AND in our budget!! You are in good hands with Gillian!!! I can't recommend her enough - 10 STARS!!!

Negative experience: Delayed flight caused us a lot of troubles and the personal at the airport instead of helping us they called up security on us!! After an emergency landing and a wasted day in a foreign airport and a stinky hotel, we reached out to Montreal to find another surprise, they cannot put us on a plane to Toronto and suggested another hotel stay or else they will call security to get rid of us asap so other customers could not hear our struggle!! Bottom line never flying with you again and your sketchy airplanes. It seems to me that they keep flying their airplanes non stop until an issue comes up (isn't risky for passengers?)... well I might be wrong though as this is just an impression based on my experience with them...

Negative experience: Purchased a package with a price match guarantee, emailed to redeem the offer when the price went down by $150, didn't receive any response to the email for weeks and when I called the first time, they auto-hung up after 3 hours and the second time after waiting 2 hours, they said "we don't respond to emails, you need to call us for any support, we can't help you because it's been too long since your request". One of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. Note: not for this specific location this is about my phone in air transat experience

Fantastic experience: refreshingly positive experience i had while booking a last-minute vacation to the Caribbean. This past Saturday (Aug 5th) Kris Orszag; he was patient, positive and very knowledgeable and pushed himself to get the bookings I wanted. The office on church street is conveniently located, Even open on Saturdays, I was able to make a booking before and after doing some local shopping. I have used the number of the main providers here in Canada, and I have to say Transat I’ve been first class all the way! Quite often the most competitively priced, and always have a great representation at the resorts.

Negative experience: I had a bad experience with your company last summer in Canada because they would not allow me to use my valid return ticket back to Paris, France, which makes me to sleep in Pearson International Airport for 3 days and I will never forget that.

Fantastic experience: Jim did a great job in planning our trip to Portugal in April 2023 - it was everything we wanted and more. Jim is thorough and extremely responsive to any and all our questions. Can't wait to plan our next trip.

Fantastic experience: We will be forever indebted to Transat Travel. At the start of the pandemic, we decided to cut our trip short. Our travel agents, John & Angie worked tirelessly to find us an earlier flight home and made the arrangements within 24 hours. We got to lay back and enjoy the rest of our vacation while other travellers who had booked online, frantically scrambled for days to speak to their airline in order to bump up their flights. Just one of several outstanding experiences with Transat Travel.

Fantastic experience: Horrible experience.

Fantastic experience: I always book my trips through this AirTransit office. The staff are all wonderful and knowledgeable and are organized when it comes to booking. I often travel alone and have never had a problem travelling as on your trips you are always meeting people and some end up becoming friends. I have just booked Ireland and Scotland for end of May 2020.

Fantastic experience: Professional people, however I could not find the flight with reasonable fare.
