Fantastic experience: Dino was amazing! My husband and I had the best time. We visited Three Sisters, Moraine Winery, Bench 1775 and Laughing Stock. We had snacks and water for the car ride and a picnic lunch after the second winery which was delicious. We learned so much about wines and how to taste and about each winery. We will be back!

Fantastic experience: We loved this tour. Our driver was excellent and sweet. The first vineyard was welcoming and charming. The second one was just amazing, the dessert wine was delicious and they even offered a cheese board, which was exquisite. The atmosphere was great. The last vineyard we visited, the one with the phone booth, was our least favorite. The tasting wasn't as welcoming as the other two and felt somewhat rushed and the wines weren't that good. I wish they'd started out with this one, other than this the tour was enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: I had the best time on the Friday evening wine tour with Martin as our driver/guide. He was on time with the pick up in Lower Sackville, the van was clean and spacious. Martin gave us great information about the Valley on the way into Wolfville. He dropped us off at the front door of each Vinyard and met us when it was time to go. We went to Mercator, Grand Pre and ended the evening at Luckett's with dinner. We shared so many laughs, and left feeling very grateful for this experience!! Thank you Martin and Grape Escapes!!

Fantastic experience: A great find ! I was vacationing in Halifax and from word of mouth, I heard about Grape Escapes. It was wonderful. We did the Sunday tour. We were picked up downtown, visited 3 wineries, lunch at Luckett Winery and driven back. Very generous wine tastings. Lunch was delicious. Wonderful, well informed guide and hosts. All included reasonably priced. Recommend it highly. Nova Scotia wines are up and coming. Really enjoyed Benjamin Bridge, but all were really good.

Fantastic experience: The team at Grape Escapes exceeded any and all expectations for a wine tour. To start off Susan was always quick to reply, so I was never in the dark about status. I felt so comfortable with my discussions with her I let her recommend the itinerary. This was a big win as she planned 5 stops, perfectly timed and right up our alley in selection of wines. She then finished us at a winery that had wine flights and a great food menu. You can imagine after 5 wineries we were hungry, and without us giving the direction she planned accordingly. Can't wait to make our way back and check out some of the other locations with her team in the near future.

Fantastic experience: Went on the Wine & Lunch Escape for a Bachelorette party. JD was our guide who was great fun! We visited three vineyards: Luckett where we also had a really tasty lunch, Domaine de Grand Pre and Benjamin Bridge. All three were great with plenty of good wines to taste and buy. We also had some time to explore the vineyards and take lots of photos. We all had great fun, especially on the journey back to Halifax when JD let us blast out our music! :) Would definitely recommend as a great way to taste some Nova Scotian wines!

Allan our driver is an easy 5 star host, super accommodating, in every way, please ask for him when booking! I have toured the Niagra on the Lake region, Nappa Valley in California and Margaret River in Australia to name a few and I have to say, NS wineries are up there with the best. Highly recommend this tour experience!

Fantastic experience: Wine and Lunch Escape... I was so excited when I booked this tour and really looking forward to doing some wine tasting in Nova Scotia. I have gone to many many wineries all over Ontario and was excited to try NS wines and see how they compare. This tour was so informative and we all had so much fun with our tour guide/driver JD. He was a fountain of knowledge and kept our spirits up, kept us laughing and kept us drinking. LOL The 3 wineries we went to, Benjamin Bridge, Luckett and Domaine de Grand pre were really great. They all had a lovely selection of wines, mainly whites, with some reds and a few rose. All of them were different and it was nice to experience different wines from Ontario. Lunch was very tasty, I had the chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. The 3 wineries were all unique in their own ways and I wouldn't hesitate to visit them again. I enjoyed all their wines so much that I have looked into ordering them for delivery to me in Ontario, as most of them are not available at our LCBO stores. Overall if you're debating this tour, DEFINTELY book it and go. It is a lot of fun, the wines are great, JD is a great tour guide and the staff at the wineries are all about making your experience really enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: We recently went on the “Wine & Lunch Escape” tour and what an amazing experience it was! Colleen our tour guide was fabulous!! Her personality and knowledge made the tour so much more interesting and enjoyable! Myself and my husband loved all of the wines at all 3 of the winery’s we visited during the tour! We would definitely recommend and try another tour with Grape Escapes when visiting Halifax again!

Fantastic experience: We booked with Grape Escapes for my bachelorette party and it was an absolute blast. They were super accommodating- my sister brought her baby and my best friend was very pregnant. Randy, our driver, took great (or grape haha) care of us. We enjoyed all of our stops. The wine was great, the food was great, and I can’t say enough about Randy. He’s the real MVP. The bus was super clean, everything seemed on time (we were having too much fun to look at the time so I’m guessing) and Randy was an awesome hype-man/photographer/baby holder. We originally missed out on a private tour as we planned a little late but my mom begged to put us on a cancellation list and they emailed us shortly after saying they could do a private tour. We were so happy with the whole thing. We will more than likely do it again. Cheers!

Fantastic experience: I don't usually give 5 stars, but the lunch and wine escape was absolutely amazing. Definitely a must do day trip if you're able to spare a day. JD was very knowledgeable, informative and delivery was with a witty humour which made the tour so enjoyable. Scheduling of the tastings were well organized with some free time after each tastings plus the lunch at Luckett was delicious. Overall a very lovely escape into the wineries and vineyards.

Fantastic experience: I took the food tour to Peggy's Cove. Loved this experience and would recommend it without reservation. The itinerary included four stops each with food and drink - drink at three out of four stops and included cider, beer & wine, all local of course. The food was delicious and generous, particularly the lobster roll at Tom's Lobster Shack in Peggy's Cove. I'm sure one of the best lobster rolls, if not the best, in Nova Scotia. Our guide, Colleen, was exemplary. Lots of local knowledge and fun to spend the afternoon with. Taking this food tour is the best way to visit Peggy's Cove.

Fantastic experience: I've been meaning to make a review for Grape Escapes since my experience with them in August. All I can say is 5 stars all round. I started as someone with an interest in wine and left as an absolute wine-o. JD was an awesome driver/host who felt genuine and wholesome. I could go on and on in this review but it can all be summed up as saying that it was one of the most fun, informative and beautiful (the scenery and vineyards) experiences I've ever had in Nova Scotia. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Amazing tour and great tour guide (JD). Great experience, stories and overall planning. The one thing I would change is removing the meal from the lunch and wines tour, and keep that time for us to order the food we want. That is just a suggestion and doesn’t take away from how amazing our experience was

Fantastic experience: This is our 3rd year in a row, taking a Grape Escapes wine tour. And we’ve had a different tour guide every time. And every time has been an amazing experience. This year we had JD as our tour guide. He was excellent!! I would recommend the “gourmet lunch” tour to anyone. I have no doubt we’ll be booking them again next year.

Our tour guide Colleen; was great, sharing alot of local history and tips along the way. We had a great lunch at Lucketts Vineyards. Fantastic experience: Went on an afternoon and lunch tour with grape escapes. I opted for the pick up from wolfville. The driver (JD) arrived in a timely manner, and gave us all a warm welcome. He was very outgoing friendly and had a great sense of humor. We checked out three wineries according to their itinerary. It was a very gorgeous day. The winery provided lovely individuals who were well versed in wine tasting and history of wines and the vineyards themselves. We had lunch at Lucketts which we picked ahead of time. It was absolutely delicious. We received about four glasses of samples at each winery. Some were quite generous in their pouring. We received one glass of our choice of beverage for lunch. The price paid for the excursion was fair for the opportunity you are provided with. A proficient and charismatic tour guide, and VIP treatment at three very nice wineries. I would highly recommend a tour if you haven’t been or want something different to do (or you just love wines and want to learn more)! Totally worth it.

Fantastic experience: Was picked up in Halifax for our tour and had an experience way beyond expectations. Colleen was our guide and is incredibly entertaining and knowledgable of wine and the area. She catered to our every need and was always making sure we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest extent, even offering local recommendations for the rest of our stay in the area to make sure we enjoyed our whole stay. 100/10, would happily book with grape escapes again and will be recommending to our friends when visiting. Fantastic experience: I would most definitely recommend Grape Escapes Nova Scotia Wine Tours! I recently did The Good Cheer trail tour for a bachelorette event, and the bride had a small accident the week before where she broke her leg, resulting in her needing to be on crutches and in a wheelchair. I called up G.E., explained the situation and was reassured that the bus could handle a transport wheelchair and that we would be looked after. I was blown away by the service we received, our guide Colleen was attentive, always checking in and helping us maneuver the bride to be around, and each of the stop locations was so friendly and accommodating.
