Fantastic experience: I am basically writing to highlight the work of the guide Aurelio, who made our trip easier and more enjoyable by helping us with everything we needed. A great professional and an even better person. A hug for him from Antonio and Dolores.
Negative experience: We just returned from the tour. I should mention that we purchased through Quality Group, and we believe it was not up to par at all. The positive note was our guide, Ben, who was really good and knowledgeable. But in the hotels, as nice as they were, we were confined for breakfast to unsuitable, bare environments with mediocre food and little choice. The included meals were minimal. We paid in advance for tours only to realize that it would have been much more convenient to buy them from the guide. Including the airport transfer on the last day, we paid 156 euros for two, against a cost of 40 euros for the taxi. The transfers were too quick, and the one by plane had different schedules for the participants, which forced us to lose an entire day.
Negative experience: Not worth the amount spent for the tour of Canada, the guide's inappropriate and annoying insistence on tips 'due' was bordering on begging.
Fantastic experience: An unforgettable trip, especially due to the friendliness, kindness, willingness, and professionalism of a great person: Aurelio Chombo.
Negative experience: A reception service that does not take care of clients, makes mistakes with bookings, charges the French tour operator extra fees for private guides to cover their shortcomings, and does not actually apply what they have charged. There is no need to contact them directly as they politely refer you back to your agency. They send you vouchers and plane tickets at the last minute, which means you can no longer change anything. For seats on the planes, they promise but do not provide options, and you end up scattered. Honestly, I do not recommend this reception service in Montreal.

As you mentioned, we are a receptive agency. This means that we do not market our trips directly to end travelers like you, but create stays that travel agencies or tour operators can offer to travelers. Your situation here is that you purchased your trip through a travel agency. That is simply why we kindly invited you to contact your travel agency again, as they are the most competent to address your questions and continue assisting you before your trip. We are fully aware that there was a misunderstanding regarding your stay when the booking was made by the agency, and we are sorry about that. We assisted your travel agency all the way to resolve this and to guarantee you the experience you were entitled to expect. But also and especially because we take great pride in taking care of our travelers as well as our partner agencies. And we were happy to resolve all of this before your departure. Finally, please note that we have duly noted the seating issue on the plane, and this point is already being adjusted with the airline. We thank you again for this valuable feedback on this matter. Fantastic experience: Vraiment très professionnel. Excellent service
Negative experience: I just finished, with my wife, a trip with Receptour (Eastern Canada). Nothing to complain about the guide. As for the hotels, absolutely negative regarding the Sheraton in Montreal, modest rooms, inadequate room cleaning, and following my report, Receptour simply apologized through the guide. On the last day, although a B&B was planned, Receptour refused to have the Toronto hotel prepare a breakfast box (since we left the room at 5 in the morning), claiming that such a request had to be made before the start of the tour (despite the fact that the Italian travel agency, from which I purchased the trip, had informed us that we were entitled to the breakfast box). Meals or dinners barely acceptable (during the tour there were also 4 days out of 8 with just B&B). On our honeymoon, although communicated by the travel agency, no particular attention from the hotels we stayed in. --------------------- In reference to the response received and reported below, I clarify that Receptour knew, from the moment the trip was signed, our departure time, and regarding the breakfast box, we were accused by the guide of having taken the package from another couple. I forgot to warn any future participants that upon arrival, on the first day, only pick-up service (driver) is guaranteed, but there is no guide waiting for you on the first day at either the airport or the hotel, which is unusual compared to other tour operators.

Rest assured that we have taken your comments regarding the Sheraton in Montreal seriously and that we are conducting some checks with the hotel. Regarding the boxed breakfast, in fact, the hotel requires a few days' notice to prepare it on time. Since we were informed of an early departure just one day prior, the hotel informed us that they could not guarantee this service. Subsequently, we were told that you received the requested boxed breakfast, so we are pleased that this issue has been resolved. Finally, we can confirm that we notified all our suppliers that you and your wife were on your honeymoon, but unfortunately, the special attentions due to this are at the complete discretion of the hotels. At Receptour, we do our best to meet our customers' requests, and our goal is to provide an excellent travel experience, so we are very sorry that some aspects of the trip were disappointing for you. Negative experience: Tour Canada Grandeur Nature August 2018. Half tour made with an old, dirty bus, with some broken and uncomfortable seats! To the complaints, the guide responded that what was complained about was not true and that, anyway, being peak season, there would be no possibility of a replacement bus. I can understand the argument about peak season and the impossibility of changing it (even though a bus like that is inadequate for the type of tour conducted), but what was upsetting is the denial of what was complained about by ALL participants in the tour, firstly to the guide and then to the various agencies.

We have contacted our transport company to learn more. We received some photos that we forwarded to your agency in Italy. The photos show a vehicle in good traveling condition capable of transporting without problems. It is the same type of bus used the previous week.
