We operate 24 Hours / 7 days per week. Vacations + off-duty time, can sometimes reduce our available staffing numbers. We encourage this person to use the competition taxi services, and hopefully they will provide a 5 Star experience and meet your expectations. We also suggest that he read their "google" reviews.
Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Very friendly and professional. We were out of town when our car broke down. We were stranded on Canada Day with most services being closed or short staffed. Our day had hit rock bottom. Thankfully Norms Taxi and Tours came to our rescue. They provided service with a smile and laughter to brighten our day. Thank you, for your 5 STAR review. This customer (3 adults + 5 luggage pieces) booked our 5 STAR van for an 11pm pickup at the Moncton airport, going to Saint John, NB. The Thursday at 11pm arrival was then delayed to 1210am, then to 130am, and then to 325am. Then the 3 passengers realized that their 5 luggage pieces were lost = 30 minute delay to meet with an Air Canada representative, to file a "lost baggage claim" at the lost baggage office in the airport. At 4am, the 3 passengers came out of the airport at were greeted by NORMS TAXI, (THE ONLY TAXI at the airport). There were about 10 passengers standing curbside and waiting for taxis to arrive. There are only a few taxis on duty at 4am!! There were 5 taxis available at the 330am arrival, but there were 15-20 passengers waiting for the next taxi. While waiting for our 3 passengers, NORMS TAXI turned down a $500 offer to take someone to Halifax. We chose to stand-by for our booked ride to Saint John. Our 3 passengers were very happy to see their booked taxi (NORMS TAXI) ready at the moment they were ready to go. They could have been the last 3 people in that line of folks standing curbside = up to 2 hr delay, due to only a few cabs on duty, at 4am. Our taxi van dropped off our passengers at 6am, then returned to Moncton at 8am. This taxi van was booked for Friday rides at 6am, 7am + 745am, in Moncton. The original booking had the taxi to Saint John (1030pm-3am) then gas/car wash/vacuum, and ready for the 6am ride. Our dispatch had to give the 3 rides on Friday am, to another cab service. I do not think there are many cab companies, in Canada, who would look after these 3 passengers like we did. Most would have abandoned the booking as a "No show" at 11pm. Then the passenger has to try and get service at 4am. These 3 passengers enjoyed our 5 STAR service, and gave big tips $$, to the driver + the dispatcher. "UBER would probably charge $800 for this type of call " (1030pm-8am)

Positive experience: I had great service and prompt too. Rating a 4 because the conversation was a bit much for me and went to uncomfortable topics especially being a women alone in a vehicle with man (crime, r*pe, Michael Jackson's pedophelia accusations, and more...). My suggestion to the company would be to of course keep up the conversation and be personable but be more concious and professional regarding what you're speaking about, to keep your clients comfortable and feeling safe. And my heads up to anyone considering booking if that it something that would make you uncomfortable.

The next time you enter a cab, and while you are putting on your seatbelt, simply say "GOOD MORNING DRIVER, I WOULD LIKE TO ENJOY A NICE QUIET RIDE TO THE "KEG RESTAURANT" ON MAIN ST. THANK YOU !! ***************************************************************************Also, since some male taxi drivers cause you to be uncomfortable, I suggest you ask the taxi dispatcher to only send you a "female driver" Also, you can say nothing, when you get in the taxi, and simply give the driver your request in your hand written note.

This call was my 325th rescue call on local roads. I think am the only taxi operator who can figure out where stranded motorists are located, often using only a few clues from the motorist. Nice to see folks taking time to create a positive review.

Fantastic experience: I got stuck at the Moncton airport coming from Ontario for a few weeks for work and had no way around as I’m not old enough to rent a car and was unaware Uber was not out here and called my mom and she set me up with norms taxi and he helped me so much, he even gave me a tour on the way from the airport to the hotel and told me about the different things about Moncton and the surrounding areas and was a very friendly and positive driver. P.s, if you get the chance to hear some of his jokes I recommend it

Negative experience: They didn't even answer the phone but answering machine I think picked up. I think they might be appointment only? No other cab company was answering that night either my bf found this number and wanted me to try to get to his house the night of the country fest
There are many times during the 24 hour cycle that the demand for taxi is high and we are unable to answer 50 calls at the same time. This is not a situation worthy of a 2 star review. This is simply a situation where a person is unable to reach us, due to high demand situations. GOOGLE should help consumers understand what a "review" is. Thank you
Negative experience: This company got one star from me because the driver was on time and the van was clean. My girlfriend and I were out for dinner. We had 2 drinks and a wonderful seafood dinner. When I got into the cab it felt comfortable. The destination was about 30 Minutes away , so I thought I would have a nice quiet relaxing drive. The driver did not stop talking the entire time. He said he was a comedian. So the jokes to me were not in my interest at all. I am too polite of a person to have asked him to please allow me to have a peaceful drive home. The non stop talking was making me feel very anxious. I couldn’t wait to arrive home. He stopped nearby my destination and said his gps stopped working. Mine was working fine , I told him to just go left and it’s the second right. I felt him stalling. When we finally arrived In my driveway I pretty much threw the 100 dollar bill in the front seat and quickly got out as fast as I could. That was my uneasy experience
This lady (+/-50) actually called NORMS TAXI about 2 weeks earler and asked for a quote for a 50km ride. She thanked me for the quote and the call ended. The quote note was created using her cell phone number on our caller id. Suddenly, 2 weeks later, on a busy Saturday night, at 9pm, she calls NORMS TAXI. She advises that she is at a downtown restaurant and ready for her 9pm "booked" taxi. I saw that she was a quote , not a "booked" ride. I agreed to pick her up in 5 minutes, overriding our dispatch system. At the start of the ride, she declined my request to enter her destination address into my GOOGLE MAPS GPS system. She said "I know the way and I will direct you to the address. I then drove to Sackville,NB and she told me to Exit here, Left here, Right there. We were now in an old part of town, with poor lighting. She suddenly said," she was confused". I then opened my GOOGLE MAPS and entered her address. We were one street away and 30 seconds away. As we drove the final 30 seconds, she said she was confused because it has been 2 years since her last visit. She said her friend and her drank wine during their dinner. As I entered the address into GOOGLE MAPS, she rudely said " I know where I am going, to which I said "let's let google help us!. Now, at this point, I realize that she is "impaired by wine". She paid her "quoted" fare and gave a $10 tip. This mature lady and I had a normal 50 km ride, and I'm sure I shared some of my "clean comedy", When NORMS TAXI drops off ladies who are "full of party", we do not drop and go. We watch the customer and confirm that they have entered their home, then we leave. I watched this lady walk like an impaired person walks,to her door.She takes 30 seconds to find her key and open the door. NORMS TAXI then departs Sackville,NB, ending her 1 Star experience. NORMS TAXI respectfully suggests that she got 5 STAR service. I suggest that this lady should consider creating a business card with the following: "Hello driver, I would like to have a quiet / silent ride to xx xxxxxx in Sackville,NB." THANK YOU NORMS TAXI thinks this lady may be related to Donald Trump! "She said her GPS was working fine" which is not correct. She was using her late night memory. My GOOGLE MAPS saved the day!! Hopefully, this lady will get a 5 star ride when she uses our "2 star" competitors in the Moncton area.

Negative experience: Cab never showed up
Our dispatch records do not show this customer's request for NORMS TAXI, on the date/time suggested. All of our taxi calls were completed, as always, without any issues. This person probably called another cab company, who should receive / address/ reply to her 1 star review. Please ask "comedy goblin", the person to provide the "call from" number and the pickup address , so our taxi call records can be confirmed. Our phone system records all call id info etc.! NORMS TAXI is never a "no-show" (in 30,000 rides), because we are always connected by cell/text with our customer. This means that if our driver is enroute to a pickup, and suddenly has a flat tire, or other issue, causing a potential delay, our dispatcher is able to quickly contact our waiting customer, and help arrange for a replacement TAXI. We have heard, and are aware that there are local 2 star cab companies who do not communicate with pending pickups. NORMS TAXI is proud to be a 5 STAR service. Also, please note that we are NORMS TAXI, and the big "cab" companies are "White Cab and Air Cab". This 1 star review says the "cab" did not show, which suggests Whitecab or Aircab, as the intended cab service review,

Negative experience: Would love to say good things but they were a no show. Called the night before for a taxi to get to the airport. No show and can't get ahold of them now.
This consumer (Jarred) spoke to our taxi dispatcher at 715pm and asked for a taxi to pick himup at 315am (8 hrs later) at the Holiday Inn Express, going to the Moncton airport. The dispatcher advised Jarred that the assigned taxi driver would text him with a proposed booking offer soon, to then confirm the requested booking. At 719pm the driver sent a text offer/proposal to the customer, who did not reply/confirm the pending “booking”. We often have folks who do not reply to our text offer re their request. Since Jarred did not reply to the driver, the driver withdrew/cancelled his offer to Jarred, and simply understood that Jarred must have made other arrangements. The drivers offer had included a connect to customer call at 245am (30 min prior to pickup). There was no call to Jarred at 245am, because there was no agreed/confirmed booking. The dispatcher told Jarred that after the 245am call, the driver would then send text arrival updates at 30 -20 -10 - 5 and 1 minute to pickup at 315am. Jarred did not confirm his booking request at 719pm, did not call the driver after a no 245am call to connect, no follow up from Jarred re the 30-20-10-5-1 text updates that did not happen. Then at 317am (2 minutes after Jarred’s 315am (pending initial request at 719pm), Jarred sends a text to the 719pm driver. Jarred also calls the driver at 320am, and reaches voicemail = no message to driver. The driver was busy helping a passenger at the Hospital Emergency Dept = unable to reply to Jarred’s text or cell phone call, instantly. At340am, the driver is done at the ER, = back in his taxi and sees Jarred’s missed call and 319am text. The driver calls me and asks me to contact Jarred. At 340am, I call Jarred = no answer = I leave a message asking him to call me. I text him at 340am asking that he call me = at 348am he sends a reply a text reply “Ha don’t worry about it now. I got another taxi company to come get me.” At 348am, I text Jarred “Ok, please call me “ Jarred has not (from the initial call) replied to any of my texts or my voicemails, asking him to call me, to explain the booking process again. NORMS TAXI has completed 20,000 5 STAR rides to date with our customers who communicate with the driver. Jarred failed to complete the booking process, thus causing me to suggest he is “the author of his own misfortune”. Lets hope that Jarred has time to read my “REPLY”, so he will be better prepared for his future 315am Taxi service booking requests, with the other local taxi companies, who do not have a 5 STAR rating. NORMS TAXI looks forward to serving customers who communicate with our drivers = a stress free 5 STAR experience, for the passenger and our Taxi owner/operators.

Fantastic experience: Im a bit late on sharing but i had quite the experience with this company...i have a gas powered bike and i was at the mall and as i was about to leave i realized that my food wont fit onto my bike at all! i had just finished shopping after a 9 hour shift so insted of walking i askes the cab driver that was already at the mall to get me a cab with a bike rack i waited 3 hours and nothing(note my phone was dead) at this point its around 11pm so then i seen a can across the parking lot and went to chat with them to see if they could help...it was norms taxi. He was so polite and offered to help me himself but there was an issue..my bike would leak gas if tilted and for obvious reasons we both didnt want to put the bike in the van but he came up with a solution! He would take my stuff to my location and i would drive the bike and this was a great idea so we started going and he fallowed me closly via his van just to make sure i could get home ok....then the bike broke down clutch was stuck so the back wheel wouldent even move at all it just dragged so at this point we decided to lay down tarp and put the bike in even if it leaked gas and he drove me to my location heres the kicker he only charged me the $6 for bringing my stuff! I dont know about you but if this story dosent make you want to choose this guy i dont know what will he really cares about the people 1000/10 service highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Our story with Norms Taxi-Tours. While touring with our Motorhome in Moncton NB we had mechanical problems. We knew we needed a service shop and a hotel for the night and a taxi to get there. We have 3 husky dogs with us. We called Norm and were so happy with the help we received. Norm found us a service shop and was very happy to accommodate our 3 dogs with the trip to the hotel. The personal care for us was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend calling Norm for all your travel needs. Thank you, Norm, you are a good person. May life give you much success and happiness.
These nice folks + 3 large dogs needed several taxi van rides to get back "on the road". Very interesting taxi van experience for NORMS TAXI ! Moncton only has a few taxis that will handle dogs. I am the only one "possibly in the world ??" that could/would handle 3 large dogs in a taxi van ride.
Fantastic experience: My daughter (a university student) flew home to NB and needed a way to get home from the Moncton airport, since we could not pick her up due to COVID restrictions. I tried calling a couple of taxi service companies to discuss the trip and obtain information on pricing. When I called Norm, he was friendly and eager to help, demonstrating exemplary customer service. He spoke with me the day prior to the trip to explain the safety protocols that he uses to ensure a successful drive and to explain his approach to communication with his customer. He put my mind at ease. They encountered heavy rain on the 3 hour trip but Norm safely delivered my daughter home and was professional at all times. I would highly recommend Norm’s Taxi for any of your taxi service needs!

Fantastic experience: Norm saved my friends and I. Our car rental didn’t work out and we were stuck without a drive to our cottage in Buctouche. Norm came to the rescue and drove us all the way there with very last minute notice. Then to top it all off he drove us two days later to take us all the way to halifax. Fantastic experience: I called Norm and he left within 10 minutes to go pick up a part for our Company. He brought the part clear to Utopia which is a 2 hour drive and was great to deal with. He beat the prices around Moncton and will definitely be using him again in the future!

Fantastic experience: Norm’s taxi was fast and easy, I have to say his personal touch is a breath of fresh air. He will even text you to let you know how close he is, that helps. I wish he had an online app but still happy to use otherwise.

Fantastic experience: Trucking through NB and we needed puppy food for our 8 week old puppy. We parked the tractor trailer on the side of the highway, called Norm and he was there very quickly willing to help us in any way. Very polite friendly and professional. I would highly recommend his services and we will call on him again if we ever need his services.
