Kemp Travel Group - Bowmanville

Fantastic experience: I do have to limit my review to Donna, as she is the agent we worked with, but I know if Donna is a reflection of the team at Kemp Travel, you are in FANTASTIC hands. We have never used an agent before, but for our honeymoon, we were not in the mood to plan a trip and a wedding, and man did Donna deliver. So amazing to work with, so kind to give us a card to congratulate us on our wedding, and planned the best Honeymoon EVER. Even our tour guides (who were fantastic, that Donna arranged) were raving about our hotels and how nice they work/great locations (thanks for making us look good). It was the best trip, and I know we will be hitting Donna up again for our future anniversaries.

Fantastic experience: Recently booked a trip with Alison, my first time booking through a travel agent (or booking a trip at all). She is phenomenal, excellent communication, overall a great first experience. Answers my emails so fast!! Very kind and was wonderful with my MANY questions. 6 stars!

Fantastic experience: We recently got home from our wedding in Mexico and we couldn’t thank Alison enough for everything she did! We had a group of 50+ people and everything went smoothly! We got her recommendation from a previous wedding group we attended and from the start of planning our wedding, she was beyond helpful in helping us get the best rate, hotel, and putting us in contract with the wedding team. She answered all the emails from our guests (which that alone is a job in itself lol) she got all the deposits and final payments on time and made sure to let everyone know about the nonrefundable rule and the insurance just incase. The icing on the cake was there were no issues with our group when we got to the airport at 3am which is a blessing and we all had the best week in Mexico! Thanks again!! :)

Negative experience: I had choose Alison to plan my destination wedding, the lack of communication and the delay in responses was terrible she assured me that she can definitely fill my requests and travel needs, well they had been discarded completely ignored and very unprofessional. I wouldn't trust her planning any destination wedding. Thankfully I did receive my deposit back after having to notify them that my case would be turned over TICO if my deposit wasn't returned.

Negative experience: Not open weekends. Go figure, for a travel agency.

Negative experience: Many missed details and a lack of communication lead to a stressful experience on what would have been our first cruise. We booked and canceled our first and last family trip through Kemp Travel Bowmanville.

She is super quick with replying & really answered everything I had a question about including Covid Insurance, etc. Everyone in my group was happy with her too. We will absolutely use her again!
