Fantastic experience: Dealt with Heather Horvath. She is an absolute gem and made booking our trip a breeze. She answered all my "stupid" questions and if she didnt know the answers she got them very quickly. She kept a constant line of communication during the enire process which made us feel confident in all aspects of our booking. I would recommend her to anyone for any of there travelling needs. will definetly be using her again in the future.

Fantastic experience: Best Travel Agency in Regina, hands down.

Negative experience: Marlin travel started out great with answering my phone calls and finding me all inclusive resorts in my price range. Unfortunately after I booked and paid that’s where the greatness stopped. They booked me into a resort which had a sister resort sharing all the major facilities. Once I arrived I was told my room was going to be in the sister hotel which was definitely a downgrade from the rooms I seen online in pictures. It wasn’t the size of the room it was the items in it , extremely dated compared to what we had personally seen after making friends throughout the week and visiting the resort rooms we actually paid for. After doing some investigating and looking on Expedia ect. It was a 300 dollar difference on average from the one hotel to the other (example $4,000/week compared to $4300/ week. The hotel themselves said speak to your travel agent and so I did. All Marlin travel would say is oh they are the exact same , it’s no big deal. And to please visit Westjet vacations and do a survey. That to me is unacceptable. Marlin travel could have easily made this right, as we still made the best of our week and enjoyed our trip. I’m not telling you guys to avoid Marlin travel in Regina but please use this information to make a decision that works for you.

Negative experience: I visited this location with my wife when looking to buy 4 tickets for a travel to South America. The person there was rude and provided no information about the flight beyond the price. We left upset because we were treated as unwanted customers. I would not suggest this location or company to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I recently booked a group trip to Mexico for my staff with Aurora and had a fantastic experience! She made this large booking easy and was happy to answer any questions I had. I would not hesitate to contact her again for future bookings.

Fantastic experience: Danny V from Marlin Travel has been tremendously helpful for my wife and I planning a trip for our 10th anniversary. It’s much appreciated, as we were a bit lost trying to figure out what we all needed for a safari tour in Kenya and Tanzania. He was able to find a tour that met what we were looking for and organize everything for us.

Fantastic experience: My buddy and I planned a 30 day bike trip to the UK with Aurora and it required very precise flights to accommodate both our bikes and our multiple train connections. Aurora was able to find us fabulous flights... but then Westjet cancelled our overseas segment due to the strike. Aurora and Heather at Marlin jumped into action and with Westjet, found us an alternative with KLM. This was the best alternative at the time...then Westjet ended the strike and again, Aurora re-booked us back on Westjet, preserving our great flights. We would have had a very difficult time doing this ourselves due to the strike chaos and the multiple changes. We can't thank Aurora and Marlin enough! I would highly recommend using Aurora and Marlin Travel!

Fantastic experience: We have had the pleasure of having Shannon Konihowski assisting us and planning our holidays for many years now - and what a relaxed and wonderful experience it has been working with her. She takes the stress of travel away so that all we need to do is enjoy our holidays. Our latest was a European River cruise to Europe. Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience working with Heather H. at Marlin Travel. She helped plan a dream trip to Italy for us and nailed every aspect. Our accommodations and transportation were exactly what we hoped for and things were completely taken care of. I can’t recommend her enough and we will definitely be using her services again in the future!

Negative experience: Our experience working with Marlin Travel began with Shannon finding us a great hotel at a price that competitor travel agents could not compete with and I was unable to find myself when scouring the internet. It seemed to good to be true...and it was! We were advised to book our flights (which we were doing on our own) asap as our desired date of travel was during "busy season" and told directly that the hotel price would not change substantially (Our priority needed to be booking flights, as seats were filling fast). Therefore, we booked our flights and immediately contacted Shannon that evening, letting her know we were ready to book hotels. After not receiving a response for 36 hours, we were finally able to connect to finish our booking. It was at this point that I was told there seems to be a "price jump" when Shannon clicked to book the rooms of $1600 (ironically, increasing the price to what other travel agents previously quoted me). After receiving a call from the store owner, it became obvious that she had zero interest in speaking with me, let alone resolving the issue or providing any acknowledgement that human error may have occurred. While we understand that prices on travel is fluid, we left this experience feeling misled and undervalued as a customer. While Shannon was great to work with, we do not feel she did her due diligence in quoting an accurate price resulting in a unprofessional conclusion to our experience in dealing with her and the store owner.

Fantastic experience: We booked a trip to Ireland through Marlin travel. Our travel advisor was Aurora recommended by Sheena. She did a great job from booking flights , rooms. Trains, buses , finding accommodation that was very difficult for a busy tourist season that would accommodate many of us . As seniors we were a bit anxious on taking trains and buses everywhere but it turned out great and we were so thankful we weren’t driving . She booked some excursions and our 8 day tour with costsavor which turned out to be a great addition to our trip . We wouldn’t have seen or done as many things if we were not in a group such as we were . All In all it was a fantastic trip which we couldn’t have organized on our own. Aurora is their Europe specialist and even though she works a second job she managed to get our trip organized and booked in the short time period we gave her . Thanks Aurora, Sheena and Marlin travel !
