Fantastic experience: I have just finished a 9-day tour of Newfoundland and want to thank Emer for organizing a trip that exceeded all expectations. Every day was a gem thanks to our wonderful guides and drivers...and a great group of fellow travellers. The province is made up of one breathtaking view after another, and the warm and friendly people we met along the way made the journey all the better. It is a vacation I will never forget...and a company I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Recently returned from a two week self-driving trip around Newfoundland. What an amazing trip. Christina and the team from Maxim were fantastic in sorting out all the details from the car rental to accommodations, to excursions, to suggested places to visits. All the rooms were excellent. It was a seamless trip from start to finish. We will be definitely using Maxxim Vacations again on our next visit to the Atlantic provinces.

Fantastic experience: Almost a year after the fact, I am finally writing to thank Linda at Maxxim for setting up a wonderful self-drive trip across Newfoundland for us. She picked lovely hotels, convinced us to go to one of our favourite spots (Woody Point and the Tablelands) that we might otherwise have skipped, and provided lots of suggestions for things to do along the way. We had a terrific trip: amazing history, beautiful wildflowers, deep green forest, wild seascapes, icebergs galore, moose & puffins & whales, many special meals, and so much fun!

Fantastic experience: Recently took a 13 day "Voyage of the Vikings" tour as a birthday gift to myself. They were responsive and adaptive to my logistical needs, as I was coming from Arizona. 1 tour got canceled due to weather, but that was beyond their control. I would recommend and use them again.

Fantastic experience: We just finished a 10 day self driving tour of NL, and 6 day tour of NS all arranged by Linda at Maxxim. We couldn’t be happier with her choice of routing, hotels, activities, restaurants , etc. This is a first class agency and Linda was just excellent! We didn’t know where to go and timing between locations, so could not have done this on our own without hours of research. She set things up for us flawlessly. And the cost was the same or less than if we booked ourselves. At each hotel, we always had the best room locations.. brava and thank you Linda and Maxxim!

Fantastic experience: Excellent company to deal with. We had a few minor issues and when we called they were dealt with immediately. They planned our vacation of Newfoundland /Nova Scotia and the itinerary was excellent for a self driving tour

The excursions were thoughtful and perfectly timed into our journey. And all of our bookings were expecting us when we arrived. If we could rate these folks any higher, we would. Fantastic experience: We just returned from a 3 week trip to Newfoundland and Nova Scotia organized and booked by Maxxim. Everything went smoothly and we loved the accommodation Linda booked for us. Places we would not likely have found on our own. The pre-booked excursions were all interesting but there was still enough time for spontaneity and new things we found on our own. The restaurant recommendations were good and we enjoyed many fine meals. The recommendations for things to do were also very helpful. When we needed to make a change to our itinerary during the trip Linda was immediately available to help make the changes. If you are going to the Maritimes we would highly recommend using Maxxim.

Fantastic experience: Booked a 2 week holiday in Newfoundland and Labrador through Maxxim Vacations. Linda assisted us with all the arrangements. All I can say is fantastic. Every arrangement went perfectly. Great rooms at every location and everywhere we went once we told them we were with Maxxim Vacations we were treated like royalty. Best rooms, best tables for dinner. Highly recommend them for your holiday. Exceptional!

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a 10-day self-drive vacation in Newfoundland. We decided to do this within a couple of weeks of departure and Linda at Maxxim provided stellar service and assistance. She was very quick to respond by either phone or email. She took all the hassle out of planning. She proposed an itinerary to include the parts of the beautiful province that we wanted to visit. Their assistance included proposing the itinerary, booking accommodations, reserving the car rental. We made our own air travel arrangements from Toronto to Deer Lake and returning from St. John's. They definitely deserve the 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Maxxim/Linda - Thanks for a memorable Newfoundland Experience. My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful, once-in-a-life time experience / tour of Newfoundland. Thanks to the itinerary that was put together (we tweaked the West coast plan to exclude Labrador & include Twillingate and were glad we did so) worked like a charm, and not only spared us the labour of research, discovery and planning, but allowed us to relax and focus on enjoying the tour. We got extremely lucky with the weather - which was a huge bonus!! More than happy to recommend Maxxim!

Fantastic experience: Maxxim organized a magnificent itinerary for us that met all of our travel goals for our trip to Western Newfoundland and Labrador (including the amazing Battle Harbour). Every one of their recommended hotels, excursions and travel options were first rate and memorable. Weather issues impacted our trip and the wonderful Ivy Tobin jumped into action to make last minute changes to adapt to our new circumstances perfectly. I can’t say enough about our experience with Maxxim from our first contact with Ivy to our plane ride home. I can easily recommend Maxxim for anyone looking to simplify their travel planning and take advantage of great knowledge of the Maritimes.
