Fantastic experience: Tracey Bird, Senior Travel Consultant at Maritime Travel, has been instrumental in getting me to where I want to go, safely and smoothly. She has great skill, tenacity and experience in finding the best prices and ensuring smooth travel regarding connecting flights and arrival/departure times. Since COVID, she has arranged flights for me to Egypt and Jordan, where I swam in the Red and Dead Seas, had my mind blown viewing the magnificence of Petra, and slept in the desert. She has organized smooth flights to and from Europe where I walked the Camino (Santiago de Compostela - Frances Route & to Finisterre - 1,038km). She helped me arrive at and return from the centre of Mexico (San Miguel de Allende). And now she is spending time with me designing an epic future trip to Zimbabwe, South Africa and Madagascar. I have found her to be consistently patient, professional, resourceful, informative, and supportive.

Negative experience: Tracey wasn't helpful at all in April, seemed more bothered by me than anything. Was belittling, grumpy and wasn't listening to me when I told her what we were looking for. I did my own research beforehand and was hoping for an extra hand but I honestly wasted my time. She made no followup attempt or even took down my info. You're best to try Departures Travel or Flight Centre. We booked our trip by ourselves and got what we wanted. Maybe this trip wasn't worth the commission so she felt I was wasting her time. I was the only one in the office. One extra star for the nice man who answered the phone during that week to set the appointment up, and for the nice location in uptown (next to whole foods on the top level).

Every detail is decorated in a way that is cozy and inviting. It is truly a place that should not be missed when visiting Victoria.

Fantastic experience: Jane Purdie has been our travel expert, for at least 10 years, and the service we've received from her and the staff at Athlone has always been excellent. She's a font of knowledge and diligent at finding us the best travel options. She's patient, explains all the options clearly, offers great advice, and never puts the agency's interests ahead of ours.
