Fantastic experience: Melanie put together a fabulous personalized itinerary for our trip of a lifetime to Tanzania. We could not have wished for anything better. Her experience and vast knowledge of Africa stood out as we discussed a host of options for destinations and timing of our safari. Melanie kept us fully informed at all stages, and followed up regularly to ensure that our complex travel arrangements went smoothly. Our local driver/guide Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and fully invested in the success of our trip. (And yes, he did ensure that we saw all of the “Big Five”!) When there was a minor glitch, Sam and the whole team jumped on it right away and had resolved the problem before we even knew there was one. Sam’s colleagues from Traversing Africa’s local partners Tanganyika Expeditions looked after us very well during the city based portion of our travels, going above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, saw an incredible variety of flora and fauna in Tanzania’s diverse regions and loved meeting the friendly Tanzanian people. We will definitely ask Traversing Africa to arrange any future African vacations. We are happy to give Melanie and Traversing Africa our highest possible recommendation for anyone who may be planning a similar adventure.

Fantastic experience: I can not speak more highly of a travel agent than Kirsty Perry. Not only did she arrange a fantastic trip with wonderful guides and accommodations but her attention to detail and service before and during our trip was above and beyond. We had to cut our trip short due to the war in Israel and she could not have been more responsive. She was ready immediately to plan a new trip for us last minute and make all the arrangements. Fantastic experience: Thanks to Kirsty we had a wonderful family trip and trip of a lifetime to Zimbabwe and Botswana. The places and experiences she selected for our nine day itinerary were superb. It was really helpful too that she got us in family units given that our kids are young teens. We were really impressed with how smoothly everything went on the ground in Africa and with the high quality of the accommodations. As an aside, the Zimbabwean and Botswanan peoples were so nice. Lastly, when our flight from London to Johannesburg got delayed by a bunch of hours by the airline, she was really helpful in being in touch with us in London and helping us reschedule a connecting flight from Joburg to Victoria Falls so we could get to our camp that same day. Kirsty is very professional and excellent to work with. We will definitely highly recommend her to any friend or family who is interested in traveling to Africa.

Fantastic experience: Kirsty Perring did an absolutely fantastic job of planning and organizing our trip to South Africa. Every aspect of the trip was well organized and coordinated. Kirsty chose fantastic hotels and organized our wonderful train trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town, as well as all the airport transfers, excursions and flights. Fantastic experience: Kirsty is an amazing travel agent. We reached out to her wanting to plan a trip to Egypt. We didn't want a "go! go! go!" type of itinerary. We wanted to enjoy ourselves while learning about their incredible history. She completely understood what we were asking for and created the ideal itinerary. Fantastic experience: Kirsty has been involved in helping plan a couple of my vacations and has always been very reliable and knowledgeable. She booked accommodations for a group of 7 people as well as helped to plan activities at the destination. The one time there was a glitch she was right on top of it and I didn't have to do a thing.
