Fantastic experience: Stacey was absolutely amazing, so friendly, helpful, and very professional. She was always keeping an eye out for the best prices for me, and keeping me updated throughout the booking process, and we ended up with a great deal. Even when a small mistake occurred (which happens!) she was very apologetic and fixed it right away with no problem. I would highly recommend using Maritime Tavel, I have had only good experiences with them.

Fantastic experience: A few months back we decided to have a family vacation this winter. This vacation would include 18 of us from one year old to sixty. Positive experience: I have booked work flights with them many times and they are always fast, polite, and clearly layout the options. Flying out of Vancouver can be expensive during peak times, they are always great at presenting options for avoiding the expensive flights.

Negative experience: Tried to contact Marlin Travel to book a vacation for the fall. They contacted back one time to ask additional questions I have since emailed them to request a response and have not heard anything. I assumed incorrectly that they want to have clients especially after the whole Covid 19 lack of travel. This has been my go to when we vacation. Need to find a new place that is interested in helping plan a vacation.

Positive experience: We go to Match when we want to go for dinner and Casino up the hill. The place is clean, service is friendly and good. This time, the ketchup was good. Last time we were there, we were sure the ketchup was bad. This time, my husbands gravy was off. I didn't have enough mayo on my burgers, (2 small hopper), so I got charged extra for 1 extra Tbsp of mayo because they were stingy. lol We'll be back though, I'm sure.

Fantastic experience: Rachelle was a great to deal with in planning a group trip to Mexico. She is on top of all of the protocols and was very responsive and helpful for all of our questions.
Negative experience: I've had good luck in the past with the service at Marlin Travel. This time around it was not great. The agent I spoke with put very little effort into helping me find a fun, jungle beach holiday for my family. I told her Caribbean, Mayan Riviera, Cancun, or Costa Rica. It didn't matter really to me. Just somewhere hot. After several days the agent emailed me one option. An all inclusive with a lot of waterslides and toddler friendly. For just under 8000 dollars! My kids are teens. Her attitude was very entitled and she did not seem interested in providing any input or ideas. Zero creativity. I immediately went online and found something half the price and far more tasteful. My advice? Swipe left and pass on Marlin Travel.
Fantastic experience: My husband and I decided end of October to go to Mexico and get married. With all the restrictions we just wanted to go away and elope, having a romantic wedding/honeymoon. We also wanted to go I. Less then two weeks so it was short notice. We contacted a travel agent in town and got an email response a few days later stating they couldn’t guarantee a wedding, we would have to figure that part out. So then we called Marlin Travel. Sue answered the phone right away. She was so kind and listened to our story and understood how important it was to us to plan this trip. By the end of the day we had 4 wonderful resorts to pick from as she sent us information right away for us to look at. We booked the trip the next day. She sent emails to the resort explaining that we wish to be married. She sent a few emails so that the resort would know when we got there what we wished for. Sue was very excited for us was all the other staff at Marlin Travel when I came into pick up the tickets and travel info. When we got to the resort we explained how our travel agent had emailed requesting a wedding ceremony even though it was short notice they were able to provide this service. We really enjoyed the resort and had a wonderful experience. When we got home we received a lovely card from Sue wishing us a happy marriage and wanting to know how our trip was. I phoned Sue when we got home and told her the good news that we did get married as we wished and the resort was wonderful. She was truly happy and thrilled for us. I would highly recommend Marlin Travel for any travel needs. Especially when you want someone who will care about what you are really wishing for and will also celebrate with you when those wishes come true Thank you Sue and the staff at Marlin Travel for helping to make our wedding so wonderful and filled with wonderful memories

Negative experience: They wanted to charge me 800$ for an ocean view room ended up talking to air Canada rep and got it for $60/ person. They didn't even get my room right the first time. Would never go through them ever again.
Negative experience: I will not be a repeat customer. My advice would be to use any other travel agency. I arranged a group booking agreement with one of the owners, Lani Malanchuk, so that the guests attending my wedding could benefit from booking together. After sending out my invitations, I thought it would be smooth sailing. This premature thought was anything but accurate and given that everyone had Lani’s contact information, I was stuck with her. More than 10 business days would go by after guests inquiries with no response from her before guests would turn to me out of frustration. When I let Lani know that this time frame was unacceptable and unprofessional she assured me that she would pick up the slack. However, after a short passage of time, she fell back into her old habit and when I confronted her a second time about her far from stellar service, she informed me that a heart attack in her family was to blame. I can understand why that would keep her out of the office, but what I can’t wrap my head around is why this kept her from having her paid employees fill in for her. We ran into a serious problem of untimely and non-responses on her part yet again a couple months later, and this time she explained that her business partner had passed away. Yet again, I understand that unexpected life events crop up, however, I still can’t understand how a business owner is not able to delegate tasks to her paid employees during such times. Instead she chose to ignore the messages my guests were leaving for her, necessitating my involvement on their behalf. Anyone who has been involved in the organization of a wedding, can understand that this extra task that fell on me, the bride, caused a great deal of unnecessary stress. As the wedding rapidly approached, we ran into a snag with one guest who hadn’t booked in a timely manner and Lani assured us she was doing what she could to find a solution. On more than one occasion Lani informed this particular guest that she would have a final reply by a particular day, however, that day would come and go with no word from her. My guest and I would both contact her yet again and be given a similar reply from her about a new particular day and be left hanging yet again. Fortunately we were able to book this guest in the end, no thanks to our “travel professional.”
