Fantastic experience: We elected to use a travel agency to assist us with booking our recent trip to Cuba. We went in with an idea of where we wanted to go and what we were looking for. Stacey found us the perfect resort with great flights in and out of Kamloops. As we all know, flights get changed, then changed again, and of course, again. Stacey was amazing at keeping me in the loop with all of the changes. When we had a friend want to join us from Kelowna, we reached out to Stacey and she made all the arrangements so we could fly and sit together. She truly went above and beyond. We got to Cuba in one piece and had a wonderful vacation. In the early hours before our return home, I got a notification that our flight out of Varadero was going to be delayed, which set into motion a bunch of flight changes. It would have had us return home 3 days later than what we initially booked. I was so frustrated. After 1 useless chat and 5 disconnected phone calls with the airline, I had reached my breaking point. I then remembered about Maritime’s 24/7 support. I called the number and was connected with Lisa, a manager in Leduc Alberta. Holding back tears, I explained what the airline had done and that I wanted to change my arrival airport to Kelowna and then drive back to Kamloops. Lisa went above and beyond. She spent the next 4 hours on and off with the airline to make it happen. She even got us a free upgrade for our inconvenience. If it weren’t for her effort, I would likely still be battling on hold with that airline stuck in Cuba. When I finally got home, I went to the Kamloops office and shared my experience with Stacey. She helped me file my claim and reimbursement request with the airline. I have never used a travel agency before, but Maritime Travel will get all of my business from here on out. Thank you. Fantastic experience: Stacey took the time to listen to our desires for a vacation and found our ideal package. I tried looking for the same on line and was frustrated by what I found. She made the trip planning and booking so much more enjoyable. We will definitely recommend Maritime Travel to our friends and return to them for our next trip

Fantastic experience: Thanks Rose, your help was incredible. While overseas, we discovered that ANZ had changed our flights with no notification. We had reserved seating and that was gone too. As soon as we emailed Rose from the South Pacific, she was on it right away. Things were settled, then bad news from home had us changing our flights again to get home asap. Due to our proffered seats not being available, Rose was able to get ANZ to refund the $ right away. Again, Rose was on it! Don’t know what we would have done without her expedited help !

Negative experience: Editing after response** Changing to 1 star as theyre not taking any accountability. We didnt "overlook" anything. Your employee did not provide us all our documents. Your employee also pushed this resort. We used Maritime to book our honeymoon. Big mistake. We ended up at a horrible resort. We said we wanted to go somewhere with a nice beach, that was located near a lot of the common tours/sites in mexico, that had activities available at the resort We ended up at a dumpy resort in Tulum, so far out of the way. Our resort had nothing to do the service was horrible, the food wss horrible. We had issues. When we reached out to our rep we discovered she either quit or got fired. The other reps were 0 help and basically told us to solve it on our own. The whole proccess wasnt great. Some of our travel details got updated and no one told us. The only reason we found out was because we asked about our airport transfer docs that had not even been provided to us originally. This was our first experience with a travel agent and will be our last.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had a nightmare trip last November due to canceled flights and lost luggage. Maritime travel fought for us and got us a $5,009 refund! They also just got our 19 year old daughter out of a bad situation when her flight was delayed and she missed her connection, fighting with Air Transat and booking her on a new flight so she could make her destination! They were wonderful. As a mom I can’t thank them enough!!!

Fantastic experience: We went and saw Stacey, we told her we were looking at going to Germany. We discussed dates and places to see. Stacey quickly and efficiently gave her expertise and knowledge on travel to that area. We didn’t have to wait long for her to talk with us. We were very happy with the quick service we received and we felt Stacey went above and beyond to make sure we had the best trip ever. We booked our trip, and just returned from our trip. We had the most amazing time ever. I would 100% recommend Maritime Travel, and Stacey for all your travel needs. We can’t wait for our next trip.

We were in the mall and stopped into Maritime Travel and chatted with the ladies who were so friendly and knowledgeable! SO glad we did dropped in! They had first hand knowledge and experiences in the areas we were interested in going to and were almost more excited than we were about going!! Thank you ladies!!!

Negative experience: I'd give it a 0 if I could everytime you go in to try and book a trip they are to busy to help. Crazy buisiness model after 3 times in 2 weeks I guess it's online ordering....just to the comment from Maritime Travel....... People do read reviews and your reply only makes this buisiness look more incompetent but it's your buisiness and if you continue to treat customers the way you do, don't blame the market for your failure

Negative experience: Disappointed in the service we received. My husband and I visited the branch to get some details to plan a trip and Rose (branch manager) was only interested in dealing with my husband. I HD initially provided basic details as to where/when we are looking to go, and she asked for my name and email. After I provided it, she looked at my husband and said "And what is your name and email, as I'm sure that is where I'm supposed to send this?" I was flabbergasted and my husband was floored. After this, I was not hardly acknowledged in the conversation, including a lack of eye contact, until she said "OK, I have sent some resorts and details to your email and once you decide on a place you like, you can share with Analysse." My husband noticed all the disparaging remarks and treatment that I did, and needless to say, Maritime Travel will not get any of our business.

Fantastic experience: Extremely helpful with our trip to Mexico during these uncertain times, we felt going through a travel agency was the best bet.
