(Edited to Reply to Owner) I am sorry, but when a customer calls with questions and he or she is re-directed to a competitor and gives you the "we're too busy to care for your small trip attitude" That's a "Uh No." review. I barely had the chance to even ask my question and I was already being shown the door. lol

Fantastic experience: I'm currently in cancun Mexico at sandos all inclusive resort and I have to say this resort is very nice one of the better resorts I have been to in Mexico,the resort is small easy to get around, the food here is really good ,the restaurants are amazing, Michelle I did a amazing job helping me find a great all inclusive resort,Michelle put in her notes to the resort that I'm celebrating my birthday and this is the first resort that went all out for me I felt very special ,I'm already looking at booking with Michelle for another vacation here in Mexico for next year ,thank you so much Michelle for making my vacation special, we are having a wonderful time here .

Fantastic experience: Brydon set up a wonderful schedule for us in business class to fly Vancouver to Moncton return. Included mobility assistance as needed at the airports which all worked out very well. She provided all the information we needed including utilizing our wait time at the Maple Leaf lounge especially in Montreal where wait time was almost 5 hours. We appreciated that Brydon kept in touch and was available for any questions or concerns throughout our travel time. Fantastic experience: Michelle was very helpful and knowledgeable when trying to book a family trip to Disneyland. She found the best airfare and car rental and the closest hotel to the park. She did lots of comparisons of hotels and found us hotel that served free breakfast and with a family of 5, saved us a lot $$$. She was great at suggesting places to eat around the park and where to do some light shopping. She also ensured we received our park hopper well in advance and helped me upload all my tickets on my phone. She was patient and kind and listened to all my needs before sending me different quotes. Negative experience: UPDATE: I am going to be fair and remove the details of my complaint as Marlin have suddenly changed gears and are actively trying to resolve the issue from February. I believe in fairness and prior to the email I received today, I would have said Marlin had zero interest in resolving what is effectively a fraudulent Westjet system. But, given that there is a new development. I am changing this review. In the event things to do not improve, I will place the full experience back online.

Fantastic experience: I have known Michelle Donders for awhile now but I am a person who had been booking trip online here and there, so I never really thought about working with a travel agent until my last trip to HongKong and Taiwan. 5 of us needed to arrive to both places at a concern time but departed from different city ‍♀️, it was very difficult for me to organize the whole thing on my own. She guided a group of 20 through Hanoi, Ha Long Bay & Lan Ha Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap. It was a diverse itinerary rich in history and culture. During our trip we visited historical sites, were immersed in the local culture, cruised on the breathtaking Ha Long and Lan Ha Bays (2 nights), kayaked, biked and attended a cooking school plus much more. We lived well staying in excellent accommodations and eating the most amazing foods!! We had the best time during this trip and can honestly say that there were all ups and no downs!!! At the end of each day we would talk about how wonderful the day was and eagerly looked forward to our new adventures the next day. Nancy is a travel consultant & tour guide extraordinaire. She ensured that everyone was happy and well and having the best time possible. Thank you Nancy for the most amazing and unforgettable 15 day tour in Vietnam and Cambodia !!!! I found her very knowledgeable, friendly and most of all patient, as I always have questions and requirements while flying. And her kindness doesn't just stop after the purchase has been made. She lets me know if I have any questions / concerns after the purchase of the ticket has been made to contact her by email and she will get pack to me as quickly as possible. That to me is great customer service.

Negative experience: Would rate zero stars if possible. I went in Saturday Jan 28th 2:25 pm, no other clients there, and no phone calls in progress. Greeted staff with "happy weekend" I have a few quick questions. I was not expecting a walk in appt, or fast food transaction to take up a chunk of time. Met agent Michelle Donders who was very snotty, condescending and defensive. Not welcoming at all, did not know what Zipair was and stated she had never heard of them. General public may not all know about Zipair but as this is your bread & butter expertise and industry, why in the world would I then put my confidence in you? To explain the obvious that since lifting covid restrictions, travel has been in high demand, you have too many customers to handle, you decide if you want to "take on" a client is off-putting. Reality check-how you treat people matter. How presumptuous. I didn't say I was asking you to be my agent. A customer decides if they want to take on your services and support your business, not the other way around. Most unpleasant 2 minute conversation. I will gladly take my business elsewhere. I do not recommend Marlin Lougheed.

Negative experience: Edit: Docking another star for the very defensive reply. Felt more context should be added. As someone who came to you as a referral, it was a disappointing discussion for something that was an easy going transaction. I was looking for a last minute vacation, emailed with flexible dates, budget, examples of items I had seen online and asked for someone to call me back, providing times. My friend told me they saved a ton on vacation that otherwise was not available online. This was not the case for the deal I was inquiring about and was never offered to customise a package. The service felt watered down and half hearted. Again, I want to re-iterate that I was told to go online and look at what was available and book online, as there was nothing better they could do. I was emailed the "deals" and told about the fee for a deal I had brought to them. This isn't a service. No inclusions put in, no credits nothing like my friends experience for the same country. I ended up booking myself through the airline, no thanks to any "help." I made sure to advise my friend of the experience as she was sitting right next to me and witnessed part of the interactions. The benefits of this fee were not discussed and with a trip leaving in a matter of days, not much prep ahead of time. I was excited to go to a travel agent and hoped for a good service. Wish you well with your business. ------------ They charge 52.50/person for booking to book with them. The "deals" they have are no better than displayed online on any travel websites. It cues you to call to book but when I did I felt like I there was no need. My friend referred me and said they had a good experience but I felt dismissed and pushed back into going to the website. You're better spending some time researching and booking online. This feels like a service for those who want that done for them.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Marlin Travel during the week and received a call back right away from Brydon Green as I randomly chose her extension number. She proceeded to tell me that she had a time slot open right away. While I was there she was extremely attentive, patient, kind and enthusiastic. We went over different options for several hours. She was very accommodating while I was writing detailed notes throughout the appointment. She gave amazing advice and answered any question I had, and if I changed my mind, had no problem to help me find what I wanted. She was very relatable and perceptive to the groups needs and wants. Fantastic experience: I went on an escorted tour with Nancy (employee and guide) to Vietnam and Cambodia right at the start of Covid. I had many concerns but Nancy and local guides were so prepared and reassuring which put many of my uncertainties to rest. Fantastic experience: I don't believe I can properly describe and do proper justice to the wonderful escorted tour to Vietnam and Cambodia that my wife and I took last February (before the COVID lockdown) along with Nancy from Marlin Travel. Nancy worked with the local tour guides that she paired us with during our vacation to ensure that we were able to have the best experience possible while on the trip. To sum it up, the tour was top notch for quality of accommodations and choices for restaurants. The local guides were accommodating, very knowledgeable and well prepared to keep our tour group on track. All in all this is one of the best vacations that I have ever been on and I still look fondly back on the memories created from this trip. I highly recommend Nancy and Marlin Travel and will use her for future vacations.

Positive experience: The agent who worked with me was friendly and forthcoming with all information I required. While I was unable to book as the vacations were difficult to plan, I would return to the agency the next time I plan a trip. I recommend that they expand their offerings to within Canada. I would've booked a local vacation in a heartbeat

Negative experience: A ZERO star would best describe this store! We bought a tour to Mexico on this " TRAVEL AGENCY" if you can call it TRAVEL AGENCY. Upon walking in the 2 agents were busy on the computer (Nancy) and one on the phone while clipping her nails (Teresa). Never greeted. I sat down and an employee came into the store said hi, mentioned she's on lunch but one of the ladies would help and then walked away. Another couple walked in and tried to ask question, the lady on her cell phone responded rudely "can't you see im on the phone?"... It was very awkward. The couple then turned to the one using the computer, but she, too, said i'm in the middle of an important email, i cant help you so please wait in line. I guess the couple felt insulted and left. We sat for 15min. Not once were we acknowledged or apologized for the wait. Instead 15 min later the lade on her cell phone finished her call and rudely asked what we were waiting for and when we explained we were waiting for one of them to help, she said she had no idea and that WE didn't say anything. What kinda agency does this kind of rude response to their customers? It's YOUR job to greet your customers. How oblivious are you? When we said we will take our money else where, she rudely said "we can't help you if you don't know let us know you're looking for a flight or a trip" and continued with her . Horrible customer service. Didn't even bother doing business with them. Horrible and rude! Spend your money some where else if i were you!

Negative experience: Attendant was not really friendly, besides that they don’t offer nothing to make worth a visit. According to them all they do is to have access to reports of people who went there... well I do too it’s called trip advisor... they don’t offer better price nor alternative payment plans.
