Fantastic experience: Sandra was the first travel agent we have ever used, and I have to say she was incredible! We told her our budget and what was most important to us, and she found us an amazing resort! She helped us every step of the way, and as someone who said they'd never use a travel agent because I could book on my own, I will never go back. She saved me so much time and effort, and helped to make this the most memorable vacation. Thank you Sandra, you are amazing! Looking forward to working with you on our 2nd trip coming up in December!

Fantastic experience: Sandra was super! She provided lots of information on our options prebooking. Once we booked she again had loads of info to make our trip seamless. One thing a travel consultant has no control over is the weather. Storm Boris caused major flooding in Central Europe causing distruptions to our cruise itinerary. It was reassuring to know that Sandra was available if we needed her. I reached out to let her know of the weather event and that Amawaterways was making the very best of a bad situation. It was a wonderful vacation despite the circumstances. When we arrived home we were welcomed back with a lovely email from Sandra and a nice surprise from Amawaterways!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Wood travel for all your travel arrangements, AMA waterways ship was very beautiful and and attentive to detail. Sandra of Wood travel in Lethbridge Alberta made all the arrangements and all went flawlessly, we didnt have to worry about any part of our trip through Amsterdam, sailing along the Rhine and to Paris.

Fantastic experience: Sandra set up an amazing trip for my wife and I to Secrets in Puerto Los Cabos. Details such as pre flight stay over and car parking, flights, transfer to the resort, a wonderful week at the resort, transfers back to the airport, and then back to our car were the seamless details. The trip was so easy to make due to Sandra’s instructions and her attention to details. Fantastic experience: My family was booking an all inclusive vacation in Mexico for 14 people. Sandra was very helpful as we worked through the logistics of group booking versus regular booking, as well as finding the right resort to match our desires. We booked the trip quite early with Air Canada and later in the year they removed the direct flights to sunny destinations and put us on flights with connections, which would have exhausted my parents who are in their 70s. Sandra was quick to get us switched from Air Canada to direct flights with WestJet - thank you Sandra! Sandra was very helpful with every aspect of the trip; planning, booking and follow up. She had great suggestions and good reasoning for her suggestions. She let us know which resorts were good etc. All 14 of us had a great experience working with Sandra, and we would highly recommend her for your next adventure! Thanks again Sandra!

Fantastic experience: What can I say about Wood Travel other than.....WOW. I sent out emails to multiple travel agents inquiring to book a trip to Mexico for a group of 8. Sandra was not only prompt in her reply, she was genuine and stood out above the rest in her response. However, Wood Travel (Sandra) really shined bright when Air Canada decided to change the plans 6 months after booking. She was quick to reach out to everyone and laid out all our options and helped walk us through every aspect of the changes. Fantastic experience: We had nothing but a positive interactions well planning our group trip! 8 Passengers from 3 cities all traveling to the same destination for a fantastic holiday. A massive itinerary change was caught before the airline even made an announcement of the direct flights no longer existing and new options for the trip were presented quickly to the groups. Documents were shared in advance of the trips, constant communication and quick response!! When we had airline issues on our return flight home, Sandra went straight to bat for us with all the information we could get her. Negative experience: Seriously bad attitude when dealing with a potentially new client. Called to get information about a 6 country trip across the globe. Without even answering my first question, abruptly changed to the subject of whether I was looking to hire her or ask questions. Clearly $ comes first here AMA spent 7 minutes explaining what the differences would be booking it myself online versus the benefit of working with them and clearly explained at THE END of the conversation what their consulting fees would be if I wanted to come in…

Fantastic experience: Booked our family vacation to Hawaii with wood travel. They were amazing to work with helped me book almost everything! And gave me a great recommendation for a very kids friendly Hotel, which we ended up booking through them! I had everything taken care of before my arrival, it was so nice to not have to worry about things! I told them what activities I was interested in and they sent me tons of information on different things I could do and even looked into if we could all participate. Then they booked whatever I picked for me beforehand. The only thing I had to book myself was restaurants and a rental car. Definitely would recommend!
