Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff i book my kids tickets every year with them highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Richard and Joanne are fantastic to deal with, our vacation was complex with multiple accommodations and tours, every type of transportation and these folks made it stress free and extremely easy. Highly recommend for any travel plans.

Negative experience: My wife and i put down a deposit first of may 2024 for a cruise for Feb 2025, which needed to be paid in full by Oct.2025,after adding up cost found out we couldn't afford the cruise ,tryed calling Canwest office no reply,so i e-mailed twice one of the owners Richard Roth,He said he would check on the following Monday because he was off to see if we get our Depoist back that Friday that was two weeks ago still no Reply from Mr Roth I contacted NCL-Norwegian Cruise Lines and was told our Travel Agency is responsible to refund our depoist ,we are not very happy with CanWest Travel. ,

Negative experience: We used Richard as our travel agent and we will never use him again. He doesnt listen to your needs and he NEVER answers your texts or phone calls! Once you give him money for your trip he totally ignores you and you cannot find out any info or get your questions answered. I'm sitting here in an airport writing this review as we asked to be seated together on the plane (2 adults 2 kids) and we are in rows 21,10,9,15 and middle seats at that! We also asked to be put(4rooms) all together at our resort and we werent even close to eachother. I could go on and on...I'm very disappointed in richard and can west travel. Find a different travel agent they arent worth it

Negative experience: Although our group got back and forth to our destination- that would be the lone pro. The cons - assured that our group would be seated together on the flight-yet even parents and their children were assigned seats far apart on plane. -requested our group be in same vicinity at the resort for obvious reasons/yet everyone was spread throughout. -friends had been scheduled for departure from cities other than the one they were told to board at -reductions in prices had to be pointed out from fellow group members rather than the agent checking on this on our behalf. -information passed on to the resort was anything but accurate making check-in a nightmare for most This was a large group and very little effort appeared to be put into ensuring things were set up properly Very difficult to reach most days. Certainly would not recommend - seems to have more important things to do rather than to look after the details that we expected an agent to do.
