Fantastic experience: Gary Rams with Crowfoot Travel provided EXCELLENT service helping me to plan a multi-country, four-city, two-week back pack vacation to Europe with my older teens. I gave him our vision for the trip and he put all the moving parts together - hotels, tours, transportation and great advice. Gary provided me with options based on location, price and time in each city. He also gave a timeline for when we needed to book. He was always available by email/phone to answer my questions and help me to make decisions. Before our trip, Gary provided us with an organized agenda and all of our bookings in a portfolio. He also gave us some great advice to enjoy our trip. I HIGHLY recommend Gary Rams as a travel agent and will use his services again.

Fantastic experience: Once again, Gary Rams organized the trip of our dreams for our special anniversary. He is such a pleasure to work with, and listens very carefully to all your input to customize the perfect vacation for you!! We recently travelled to Barcelona, Portugal, Yorkshire and Scotland. Gary made it a breeze to travel from one point to the next, booked great accommodations and found some awesome activities to make this the vacation of our dreams. Everything was taken care of from the smallest travel detail to the largest. On top of that, he planned the best trip within our budget too. Even as we travelled, he was there to assist when we needed him. He had planned another long trip for us to Italy in 2019, which was just perfect!! Ken has also organized many trips for us dating back to 2007. Why would you go anywhere else when Crowfoot Travel will plan the best vacation for you? You can just relax and enjoy. Fantastic experience: When your travel agent phones you in Europe when your flight is cancelled before you can contact him, you know you are in good hands. We typically don’t use a travel agent, but the service Ken has provided in our recent trips to Italy, Portugal and New Zealand have left us wondering why. Highly recommend Ken who responds quickly to emails and calls. We will certainly be working with Crowfoot Travel in the future.

Fantastic experience: Crowfoot travel did a wonderful job of making our family trip what we desired and hoped it would be. My wife and I and our three children, and their spouses and all their children, sixteen of us in total, had a great time together and we made lifetime memories. We stayed for one week in early December at the Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo in the Mayan Riviera. The resort is stunningly beautiful. The rooms were great, the food selection at the many buffets and restaurants is impressive and tasty. There were lots of activities for the kids, including a wave pool, water slides, waterfalls, a lazy river and a water playground for the very young. There were other activities for the kids but we couldn’t get to them all. The beach was safe and clean, free of Sargassum weed. Lots of places everywhere to get a drink and a bite to eat. Staff everywhere were friendly and helpful. We had one infant with us and the staff and resort were pleased to help us with all sorts of baby needs, including a crib, a microwave, bottle sanitizer, washtub, etc. Check-in was smooth and we were all accommodated near each other in the same building. We even got into the Christmas spirit as many decorations were already going up. Thanks so much Iberostar Lindo for your exceptional hospitality! Crowfoot travel originally booked us with Air Canada Vacations back in March and lined everything up for our dream trip. But then in September, Air Canada changed all our flights which would not work well for us considering we were travelling with young children. However, Ken Stewart at Crowfoot Travel, got right on the problem and worked diligently to save our trip. He found almost the exact same itinerary with Sunwing Vacations for only a few dollars more and our trip was on again. Thank-you so much Ken and Crowfoot Travel!!! Sunwing also provided excellent service. We were off on time going there and coming back. Ground transportation to the resort and back to the airport went smoothly as well. Sunwing personnel at the airport and the resort were friendly and helpful and were able to answer all our questions. Thank-you Sunwing Vacations for a safe experience and the many wonderful memories!

Fantastic experience: Rod and I highly recommend Gary Rams for all your travel requirements. We just completed a 40 day trip to Turkey, Greece and Italy. Gary was referred to us 10 months ago and he organized travel insurance, transfers to our hotel and made last minute flight changes for us in the Dominican Republic. We usually do not use a travel consultant. We were very pleased with his suggestions and recommendations to complete our travel plans.He is very detail orientated which we appreciated and met with us to explain all the details for our trip. All tours, extra excursions, hotels, transfers, and even our check in for our flights were taken care of. He virtually toured with us, checking in from time to time, very supportive, and prompt in obtaining information when requested. His Moto: Relax it's all taken care of and have fun. Negative experience: We recently booked a trip to Mexico with Gary as he was highly recommended. We initially wanted to go to P.V. but it was more affordable to take his advice and stay at Suncscape Dorado Ixtapa. He advocated that this was a superb resort. Let me start by saying that our flight was delayed 3 hours going down with no notification from Gary and no seats were assigned for us as he forgot to book them. The resort food was terrible and cold, or overcooked.The staff used bare hands when serving food. Flies in fruit and yogurt and so much more. We shared our experience with Gary and his response was that he was surprised. We reached out again to ask about return flights and seat selection. We booked our own at our expense. Gary did not reach out again about our ongoing concerns over food prep etc. Two other Canadians fell quite ill at Sunscape as did I. I began to vomit on the plane coming home last night. Still recovering at home today. The problem is not the problem BUT how you deal with the problem! Lack of service and communication has left my husband and I feeling very dissatisfied with Gary. I thought a travel agents responsibility is to stay in touch throughout the trip and to ensure clients return home safely. As I said earlier this was the first time using Crowfoot travel, and the last. Steve & Lorie.

Negative experience: My husband and I worked with Wanda at Crowfoot Travel to book a vacation for spring 2023. We ended up booking a trip to Mexico through her with Exoticca for March 2023. A week or two before our trip began the Canadian and US governments blasted travel warnings to avoid non-essential travel to certain areas of Mexico due to cartel violence targeting tourists. Our tour was traveling through the central highlands sometimes off the beaten path to numerous towns and a few of our routes were mentioned in the travel advisory. We made the difficult decision to cancel our trip based on the government travel advisories. Wanda was completely unsupportive and even said that if it was actually dangerous the tour operator would cancel the tour (unlikely as this would mean they would have to refund everyone). Interestingly enough when we had started working with her, we had wanted to go to Peru and she advised against it because of the travel advisories due to violence down there - the same as the ones for Mexico just before our trip “avoid non-essential travel”. I ended up contacting Exoticca directly (her Rep) and she really didn’t like that at all and was actually quite rude about it. Had she done her job and acted as our advocate it wouldn’t have been necessary. It was our credit card company that saved the day. They gathered all of the email communication between Wanda and us and looked at the government warnings and said we absolutely did the right thing. They worked with Exoticca who agreed to refund us the entire amount of our trip. It took two months of back and forth and patience but it was worth it. This was my first and last time dealing with Crowfoot Travel but we would absolutely deal directly with Exoticca in the future. These days it’s super easy to book travel ourselves but we’re led to believe that if anything goes wrong it’s better to have an agent. I guess the true colors of a travel agent are exposed when something like this happens and they need to step up to the plate and do the right thing. Some will and some won’t.

Fantastic experience: Wanda Popadynetz is one of the best travel advisor we have encountered. She is reliable and prompt, and she consistently looks after our interest in getting us the best value for our travel dollars. For example, at our recent 14-day Alaska Cruise Tour, she noticed there was a price decease from Holland America and she was able to rebook us for the same stateroom for $1,000 less. As a result, we used the money to purchased a 7-day meal plan for the land tour! The dinners were great and well worth the convenience of this meal plan. In addition, she also booked the White Pass Rail & Yukon Expedition which was in high demand and we could not do it on line ourselves. This rail excursion was simply amazing.

Fantastic experience: You’re in excellent hands when you deal with Gary! He did an incredible job on flight deals, visas, transfers and tours in Africa. We have worked with Gary on many trips and he takes pride in understanding his clients needs/wants and creating a very customized trip. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I need help planning a solo trip to Europe for 3 weeks. Gary Rams previously helped my parents on different vacations and did the same for me. Everything was taken care and helped find me a good, tour group where I got to see many historic places. Also was very helpful with booking the flights and had no issues. Fantastic experience: In April 2023 my friend and I traveled to Peru on a 17 day trip going from Lima to Iquitos to Cusco to the Inca trail 4 day hike and back to Lima before home.. it was incredible! It was seamless and smooth every step of the way. Everything was taken care of. When I had some confusion at the airport I was able to reach out to Gary to talk me through it (I was meeting my friend there so I was traveling alone), he helped me through. I have nothing but good things to say and would definetly recommend him and Crowfoot travel - including my own future endeavors! Trip of a lifetime for sure!

Fantastic experience: I recently planned a Destination Bachelor Party. Luckily I was able to connect with Ken at Crowfoot Travel to help with this day. We originally had approximately 15 guys come, but in the end only 10 ended up making the trip. Ken supplied us with fantastic All-Inclusive recommendations in several different destinations (PV, Cancun, Cabo, Punta Cana, Jamaica). After careful deliberation, we went to Barcelo Beach in Punta Cana. Ken was able to lock us in at a very good for all original attendees, and gave us a promotion for free cancelation. Lucky for the ~5 guys who could no longer make the trip, as they were refunded fully. To take this one step further, a few months later, Ken cancelled and rebooked all of our trips at an even better price! We ended up saving hundreds of dollars PER PERSON! This was above and beyond that I have seen with any travel agent. Ken also supplied us with great resources to find/research our excursions. However, we opted to decide to purchase excursions upon arrival. Ken's efforts here where still greatly appreciated. Ken was great with informing us with all the travel documents required long before our trip so we had time to prepare. None of us had been outside the country since covid I don't think, so that was a great resource. When the new variant came to Canada, we were right in the middle of our vacation. There was a lot of uncertainty as to what we needed to do to get home. Ken was very responsive and gave us as much information as he could in the ever evolving situation. Fortunately we all made it back and did not even miss our flights. All in all it was a very successful bachelor party. We loved the resort and I would recommend it to anyone going to Punta Cana. Thank you Ken and Crowfoot Travel for the fantastic work. We will definitely use this company again in the future. I am planning 2 more bachelor parties and if they end up being destination events as well, I will 100% use Kens services.

Fantastic experience: I usually book my international flights online, on my own, however with the current situation doing so is more complicated and there are fewer options. As well, changes may pose a problem when booking through 3rd party websites – it’s impossible to get a real person on the phone. So this time I felt it best to book with a professional in case of any complications because of Covid. Ken was informative, helpful and super patient with all of my questions (a lot of them) and changes. I highly recommend giving Ken a call to have peace of mind for your travel plans.
