Negative experience: I've recently bought a ticket from Big Ben I had the best experience with Peter when I bought a ticket to Florida and a ticket to the Philippines last 2022 may I've never bought tickets from any other travel agencies but Big Ben unfortunately my experience with other agents at Big Ben was disappointing my company kept changing the dates of my leave of absence to visit my aunt who had a heart condition so I change it twice the first time I paid $250 for an earlier date of my coming back here in Canada then it happened that my company had other dates in mind for my flight I had to change it again this time they charge me more for a much shorter round trip flight I like Peter he's a good man he works with you and makes sure that you get a good deal on your tickets but the other 2 of his colleagues are greedy I don't like them and if I cancel my ticket they want to charge me $500+ for each person as I've always bought 2 tickets from them now this happens I will never buy a ticket from them again never trust those 2 if Peter is not there don't buy ticket from them

Fantastic experience: I used Big Ben on the recommendation of a friend and I was leery because of the bad reviews but my experience was great! Even helped me out with an onward flight doc for free. I will definitely be using them again.

Negative experience: Terrible communication, cannot follow even the most basic instructions. Attention to detail is extremely lacking, when you ask for specific dates, you shouldn’t have to double check to make sure they are correct.

Negative experience: Not good agency, they don’t update or inform their customers for delayed flight.

Negative experience: LISTEN TO THE CRITICAL REVIEWS. Don’t ignore them like I did. This place has terrible business practices. Peter booked us a summer round trip to Asia but did not warn us we would have a 29 HOUR WAIT for a connection in Japan on the returning flight. 3 days before we were due to fly back to Canada, a lady finally called to inform us about the situation and was very sweet about it. We were completely lead to believe they would cover accommodations for the night. Upon landing in Narita Airport, it turns out we have NO hotel and no compensation whatsoever from the travel agency. Everyone who was also returning to North America via Japan that day waited 2 hours for their connection. We were the only ones with an overnight stay like this. No matter how many times we phoned to ask what was happening, there was no answer from Big Ben. Our family ended up spending the night sleeping on chairs in the airport and being further delayed by a tropical storm. We did not expect to be spending much money in Japan, so we had barely exchanged enough Yen to sustain all four of us through the 32 HOURS. From then until now, we haven’t received a single call back, even with all the voice messages we left. I will never be booking with this travel agent again. Withholding flight information and misleading clients is extremely unethical. PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY AND TIME ELSEWHERE.

Negative experience: I would give negative stars if I could. This place is an absolute joke. They were applying for my Vietnam Visa for me and applied for the wrong visa. Then lost my passport. Still charged me full price, of course. Stay away.

Negative experience: They lied to us. DO NOT USE BIG BEN TRAVEL. They are completely useless. It is cheaper and easier to book the flights yourself. They are a scam.

Negative experience: Male staff extremely rude and unhelpful. he also quoted me $2700 for a flight that i just paid $1200 for online. use google flights and call your airlines directly. they can help you quicker and help you save tons of time and money.

Negative experience: If there is a zero for ratings I will definitely give them zero! I visit this location May 17, 2023 to book a flight for my sister. There's a chinese lady or taiwanese (whatever she is) sitting in front talking to someone in phone in their language and the funny things and annoyed me its on speaker , she never greet us even she see us and she continuos talking to that someone, we wait coz we think its a costumer too..15-20mins were still standing and wait for her to entertain or talk to us if she can help us, aside from us theres no costumer yet so we expecting to book a flight easily coz there no line up..but this lady ignore us and keep talking to that someone for chitchat only !! Instead of waiting for her to finish that chitchat we decided to leave and look for another agency! this location its not recommendable and there is no care for costumer service! whoever manage this location you should do some action for a employee like her.

Negative experience: I was calling them since this morning but they aren't answering my calls. When I turned off my caller ID, they picked up the call. And when I told them that I had to rebook my flight for tomorrow because I got tested positive from covid, they put me on hold for 2x for 15-20 mins. I was speaking and saying hi but then no one was answering. They even told me to call back at around 5pm and they are closing at 7. I called them 10am---ish. VERY BAD AND POOR SERVICE!!

Nobody is in the office. I called the number on the door, he said he would come in 30min, but NO. He ask me to wait 30, then 10min more. I was upset and left, then totally, after 60min he messaged he arrived. I don't like late and not professional services at all. Costly and wasting of time when taking service here.

Negative experience: this ageny calling them about my refund because of the covid 19 i called them the guy told me he called back but he didn't they will just take your money if you have refund.

Negative experience: I came here with a note posted on the door to call the number to see somebody, due to covid. Anyways, I called 4 times and let it ring and ring and ring. No answer. Regular Wednesday afternoon, open sign is on, just tryna get some passport photos done. Perhaps if I had another chance to contribute to business without getting the run around I could give this place a decent star review. I'm sure it's a great business because it's been in the community for a very long time, but I cannot verify that.

Positive experience: Well I'm not a computer-savvy kind of guy and I don't know what I'm doing when I go to book a ticket on the internet so I've used Big Ben travel before and they've always got me a good deal plus I showed them the ticket that I like to get that I found on the internet and they get it for me and everything for the same price.
