Fantastic experience: Bridget and Kate have been my and our agents for several trips. They are amazing. I tell them where we would like to go and they do the rest. They even got me out of a crisis situation while on a trip to Madagascar a few years ago. I won't even consider another agency.

Kate has organized multiple larger group vacations for us, as well as many individual/couples trips. Always great service, and has promply helped us problem-solve when we encountered difficult travel situations along the way. 11 stars out of 10, highly recommend!

Positive experience: After some initial issues with my airline bookings, Maritime Travel did sort things out after I expressed my concerns and feedback. Firstly, they charged their fee three times to my credit card. When I notified them about this, my agent promptly apologized and credited the two erroneous charges back to my credit card. Secondly, after cancelling my flights, I eventually learned, after some initial confusion, that Maritime Travel's (MT) cancellation policy not only differs from the policy of the airline they had booked me with, but MT's cancellation policy was much more onerous as well. Maritime Travel had not disclosed their cancellation policy to me, or that it differed from the WestJet policy, at any point of the booking process -- not even in small print buried in terms and conditions somewhere. I filed a complaint to MT pointing out that this practice appeared deceptive and asked for relaxation of the cancellation policy. They responded with a full refund on the tickets and indicated they would make efforts to disclose their cancellation policy up front to customers in the future. I am grateful for the efforts that MT made to resolve the situation and hope that they follow through with a policy of improved transparency around cancellations going forward.
