Fantastic experience: We recently hired Karen to help us plan 2 trips- a quick getaway with my husband to San Diego for snorkeling/kayaking and a month later a family trip to Disneyland Both trips were wonderful- everything was great, and I would recommend Karen to assist you in planning your next vacation. I would like to add that my husband experienced a medical emergency on our departure day, and needed to be taken from our hotel to a California hospital via ambulance. This caused us to miss our flights, stay an additional night, etc. Karen responded to my email in less than 5 mins and was there for me immediately to assist. She cancelled and rebooked all of our flights for us, and contacted our hotel so we could keep our room. She took care of everything, so i could contact family members, and take care of my kids. She held on to all our invoices/documents/receipts until we arrived home and got settled. I really needed to focus on my family that day, I don't know how I would have managed without her. Fantastic experience: I've had a pretty tough couple of years and had a small window for a quick solo getaway. I didn't know where I wanted to go, but I knew I wanted to be able to walk along a beach in the surf. When I don't have a specific destination in mind, just a general idea of what I want, is exactly when I reach out to Tatum's Tailored Trips. Fantastic experience: We used Karen’s service in November 2023 for our family of 4 trip to Mayan Riviera. She was fantastic! After I spent many hours over days and days searching countless resorts on several sights and becoming super frustrated, and frankly exhausted from it, I finally looked for help from an experienced traveller and professional agent. We talked on the phone for half an hour so she could find out a little about us and get a list of our top features that we wanted in a resort. Fantastic experience: When I wanted to take a trip to Mexico for my 50th birthday, I turned to Karen Tatum of Tatum's Tailored Trips for help. I was overwhelmed by the choices of all-inclusives on the Caribbean coast of Mexico, and Karen helped me to narrow down what mattered most to me. Then she recommended three different choices, and when I saw the Barcelo Maya Grand Resort, I was sold! Karen's help didn't stop there. She booked the trip for us, taking care of all the details, and then helpfully provided step-by-step guidance to make sure we were remembering to take the right steps at the right time. There are a couple of local taxes and other considerations that were nice to know about ahead of time, to avoid on-the-ground surprises. The resort was amazing! It ticked every one of my boxes, and had the additional incredible bonus of swimming with turtles, right in the water just off the beach! We and our friends had an amazing, restful, fun-filled and smooth week together, and I really appreciate Karen's guidance all along the way. Fantastic experience: 2024 is a big year for us: 50th wedding anniversary & both of us turn 70. How would we celebrate? Karen (Luxury Family Travel Advisor) of "Tatum's Tailored Trips” helped us navigate the choices: something exotic like a helicopter trip to an exclusive BC Westcoast ocean resort, European river trip or warm, sunny, and tropical. We chose Mexico and Karen found us the resort: Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets, which really matched our “wish list” - smaller resort, adults only, some resort and area activities but not too much busyness - great food and service. Karen even got us upgraded to an oceanfront room! Attention to detail is an area Karen excels: advice about navigating international air-travel, arranging details about transport to and from the resort (which was on Isla Mujeres - an island). Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets exceeded our expectations. No easy feat! As the person who organizes these kind of events in our family, it was so great to have Karen in my corner.
