Fantastic experience: Cindy Almond organized an American West Coast road trip for me, my husband and another couple. She took care of arranging our flights, helping us build our itinerary, finding and booking hotels, and arranging our vehicle rental. She was able to get us a better price on our vehicle rental than we would have been able to get on our own, even going through Costco. During our trip, the airlines pilots were threatening a strike. It was comforting to know that Cindy would have taken care of getting us rebooked had the strike materialized. Cindy was easy to deal with and prompt with her replies. Definitely a good experience.

We’ve never used a travel agent in the past but it was absolutely so worth it. Cindy made it SO easy from beginning to end. Helping narrow down your itinerary, providing amazing suggestions geared towards what we were looking for, answering all and any questions, doing all the hard work (that we didn’t know anything about but didn’t have to research ourselves and trusted her expertise), being available throughout our trip at any hour of the day… doing all this while still making you feel like you are her only client. Cindy is so passionate about what she does, is kind and patient. I highly recommend this company for help planning your next trip! We travelled to Italy, Austria, and Slovenia. Cindy booked all our flights, transfers, and train tickets inbetween. It all went off without a hitch! Our focus was on hikes, nature and architecture and she nailed it with the tours we booked. Lastly, she made the impossible possible and got us tickets for the F1 race in Monza (one of the most popular)… we couldn’t be more grateful for her help!!! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: We contacted Cindy initially as her name had been given her name by a few local friends that had previously used her services. She assigned our travel planning to Laura. Our trip was doctor ordered at the beginning of the year, I was on the verge of burnout. Being that I had not had a true relaxing vacation in over 20 years I had no ideas on destinations, but I knew what I needed. We weworking with accommodating numerous requirements including adult only, all-inclusive, non-stop flights and numerous life-threatening allergies including alcohol, raw fruits, some nuts and to top it off mosquitoes! Laura was amazing! I had a ton of questions and concerns and she completely put my mind at ease. When we arrives at Secrets Cap Cana in Punta Cana we were treated like royalty from the moment we set foot on the resort! They sent around a WhatsApp message to all staff informing of my allergies so everyone knew and every restaurant asked when we arrived(our concierge made reservations for us, though they are not required at restaurants at the property) and so the hostess knew, waiters/waitress also asked again even though they were aware and a manager came in every restaurant twice(prior to the meal and once during) to ensure I was okay. The food was fantastic, both at the buffet and restaurant including the 24hour Cafe! The Cafe staff made sandwiches to order for me so I could have snacks at the beach every day without worrying about my allergies! At the bars at the pool and beach they came up with drink solutions not just traditional virgin drinks. The popsicle in champagne at the beach was even made with sprite or orange fanta instead of champagne for me! The activities were great both on the beach and at the pool as well as other areas of the resort (ie. crafts using traditional stone found only in PC), zumba, regular and pool yoga, ping pong, beach volleyball...) The evening shows were great! There is no club on site only a lobby bar and music (live and sometimes DJ) where people gather in the evening after the shows, but nothing too rowdy. The rooms are spacious with huge shower and separate water closet and dual sinks. Separate sitting area and balcony with comfortable couch and hot tub. I could go on for days, but the one thing that stood out was the service. From beginning to end it was beyond top notch, I have never ever experienced anything like it and even people that have tried numerous other resorts say this was by far their favorite and many have returned numerous times. I can see why! Thank you Laura if this was the only trip I would experience for the rest of my life, you made it totally stress free and I have wonderful memories and made some wonderful friends. Best perk of all Laura booked us so we arrived at 10:30am and left at 10:30pm do we gained two full days on the resort and encountered no lineups in the airports checking in or in security/immigration! I highly recommend booking Laura for your travel needs she is quick to respond and goes above and beyond(she planned my vacation while on her own). Thanks Laura for truly what was a once in a lifetime experience!

Fantastic experience: Isabella from Romance and Foodie Travel helped us plan a girls trip to Mexico in May 2024, and she was absolutely fantastic to work with. She knows the area so well, so she could confidently walk us through which resorts she recommended based on our travel goals, and the pros/cons of each. She was responsive and helpful, both when planning the trip and while we were on the ground in Mexico. I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a trip!

Fantastic experience: My last trip to France was planned with Cindy from Romance and Foodie Travel. This was not my first time booking a vacation with Cindy but certainly the first one that required more support. Cindy went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed as we headed abroad. She was also very quick to respond when we had a few hiccups during our travels. Cindy is an amazing travel agent with good recommendations and suggestions every time. The best part of our trip was most definitely the private wine tour of the Alsace region that Cindy was able to setup for us. The service we got on that portion of the trip was second to none.

Fantastic experience: Have just returned from our first family trip abroad to the Azores, Portugal. Our children are 7, 9 and 11 and we were gone for 15 days. I still marvel at how well everything went and how amazing everything we experienced was. Fantastic experience: I called Cindy two months before a wedding I wanted to attend in Europe in July (peak tourist time) that I had made no travel plans for and very vaguely said I wanted to travel “somewhere else” after that was not so touristy, more relaxing but I had no idea where. She set to work with the first part being finding me a bunch of suggestions for destinations after the wedding and general prices for those destinations. On her suggestion we went to Brugge and then Brussels. We had an amazing time in Belgium and it really has never been on my list. I decided to book with an agent as I have not travelled in so long it felt overwhelming and I wanted someone to call for backup if I needed to get home unexpectedly as my child was staying with my parents and if there was an emergency I didn’t want to be on hold for hours with the airline and hotels trying to figure things out myself. It gave me peace of mind to have Cindy have my back!

Fantastic experience: Isabelle and the team at Romance and Foodie Travel are incredible - I highly recommend booking your next trip with them! We used Isabelle and her team to book and coordinate a trip to Cancun, Mexico for our 18 person team retreat. They helped us coordinate flights from 10 different originating cities, and coordinated all of our bookings at the resort. They also booked us into a sunset sailing cruise, and a private cenote and ziplining tour that were both really fun for the team. The team has extensive knowledge on different destinations, resorts, and activity options. You can't go wrong!

Fantastic experience: Working with Cindy for our vow renewal in Dominican Republic, Punta Cana was easy. I was able to explain to her the kind of trip/vacation that we wanted, and she was there taking notes, listening, it was not easy to plan something while having a pandemic (the end of it) but Cindy was there, responding all my questions, toning me down since I was very anxious, she’s not just great as a TA but she’s the best at suppressing your anxiety, She took care of every detail for us. We had ONE little inconvenience with a suitcase, we contacted her right away and she moved the whole airport to look for it and they found it and was shipped to the resort the next day in the AM, that’s what I call an amazing customer service, she was/is very USEFUL when we needed her and I will be forever grateful that our day was amazing, things that happened at the resort are just experience as a traveller but nothing to do with her business or herself, unfortunately it is hard to communicate with the resorts but that’s how it is in these beautiful Islands ❤️you just go with the flow and don’t let anything to ruin your vacations. Fantastic experience: Deanna came highly recommended to us by several trusted friends and we were incredibly grateful for her expertise when we decided to plan a destination wedding and honeymoon with 6 months notice. Deanna was with us every step of the way and was instrumental in helping us plan our dream wedding, while also recommending areas where we could cut costs. There were a few hiccups with the hotel and Deanna was quick to respond and make sure that things were extra special for us at our next location where we went for our honeymoon. Some of our guests were nervous to travel for their first time in a while but Deanna’s knowledge of the area and reassurance made everyone feel at ease. Deanna also had excellent recommendations for excursions and restaurants to try off the resort which was also appreciated. We would highly recommend Deanna and cannot wait to work with her again!

Positive experience: 2 families couldn’t decide as to where to book together in DR, so Caroline gave us options following what we liked (along with sound advice) and a decision was made! Fast reply by phone or email, good advice, clear communication. All in all happy service.

Fantastic experience: I booked a family trip to Cuba through Caroline and she made the entire process stress free and very easy, I highly recommend her! This was our first trip since 2019 and we're not avid travellers so I wanted the help of a travel agent navigating through various trips and information. In the past, we've travelled with other people and in consequence never actually booked a trip ourselves on our own. We didn't feel confident simply booking a trip through an online travel site as we had never done it before. We had some flight issues on the first day of our trip and even though Caroline was in France on her own vacation she still answered my messages, now that's great customer service! Fantastic experience: In the beginning of January I went on a fantastic trip to a great family resort in Punta Cana.  It was a group trip consisting of 19 in total (multiple families).  Each family had their own requirements, some booking the Diamond Club some not.  The negotiations for finding the right resort to suit everyone's needs was no easy task, however, Cindy and team navigated this large group with expertise! Initially the group wasted time trying to solicit other agencies but before long we decided on Romance and Foodie Travel to help us with our travel arrangements.  The other agencies/ agents were not nearly as attentive or invested as was Cindy.  It was evident that Cindy was the top choice! For numerous weeks intermittently throughout 2022, Cindy was on top of the many inquiries thrown her way from different members of the group. I can't say enough amazing things from our experience working with her to curate a wedding week that we wish we could re-live again and again.
