Fantastic experience: Sent from Mail for Windows. Sanctuary Grand Memories -Cayo Santa Maria Oct 20-17.2022 Booked with Karla who I recommend. I have many requests and questions, to which she always responds and finds the answers, and is so helpful. 3 of us traveled to Toronto from different places and met. (Karla booked all mine), Check in with Sunwing is easy at kiosk ..Flight was good. Sunwing has started charging for carry ons and only offers coffee and tea free. It didn’t apply to us as we booked before the new rule. Arrival at Santa Clara was easy. We had filled out the Cuba entry. I had printed mine and also had it on my phone. They checked before we had it before going though customs’ went quick and soon we were on the bus to resort. Its a 2 hour drive to Cayo Santa Maria. A sunwing rep told us lots of interesting info on the way. Due to embargo etc. they are suffering and importing supplies is hard. Cuba is covid free as of a few days ago. 97% are fully vaccinated. At the Sanctuary each building has a butler. I had a lady, (spoke very good english as a lot of the workers.) She took me to my room and showed me around. Bell men delivered luggage and put it where I wanted. Room is nice Butlers are accessible from about 7 am to 11 pm, one works every other day, shared with other butlers always one around.. They book our al a cartes, address any concerns, always ask if everything is alright. If there are any changes they find us. For example every day a group from every building can book steak and lobster. I was just behind a guy who booked so missed it,, later in the day butler found us to inform that there was a cancellation if we wanted it. There is big golf cartes that take us around resort if we want. Sanctuary is the only Memories open, others will soon. Food is ok..not a big selection, always chicken, beef, pork -they grill what you want ..Also a fish grill. Hamburger and hot dogs at pool and beach grills. Fruit selection good, bread is good. ice-cream dessert .. Breakfast grill eggs, omelets etc. There were bugs in the evening, it is at end of rainy season so I believe that is why. They fog about 3 times daily. I wasn’t prepared so bought long pants there (at their shop, good selection considering) I did bring bug repellant and after bite. Sun is intense -sun block needed. The workers are good and really appreciate tips. They can only exchange Canadian (in good shape, no tears), but do take coins and USA dollars and exchange with tourists. I tip the gardeners, pool workers etc. First day at the pool I tipped a guy that brings padded cushions for lounge chairs, He made sure he brought me one each day. The gardener got me a coconut, sure a good drink. Sorry this is long I could add more. Bus ride back to airport went fast, a lady gave us lots of info, which I really appreciate (I Like to learn about a country). At the airport we had prepaid for VIP lounge -so worth it. ac, WIFI, and food, drinks included . Will attach photos. Any questions, ask me through Karla. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Thanks Karla for organizing our first, but not last, trip to Berlin. We had a great time! Traveling during covid was a bit daunting at first but everyone in Berlin wears a mask so it was simple and effective. We were there for almost a month and never even got a cold! Everything was open, the weather was great and it's a great place to visit. Get traveling everyone!
