Fantastic experience: The best way to travel through British Columbia and Vancouver Island! Truck drives very nicely and the equipment is very complete. It contains everything you need for driving, cooking, relaxing and sleeping. Communication and support from Northirn before and during trip is excellent. We rented for three weeks, we decided to get an inflatable air mattress to make sleeping a little more comfortable, worked perfectly. Thanks for the great holiday!

Fantastic experience: What an incredible experience. This was best of the both worlds, fully tricked out and kitted vehicle that allowed our family of four to just pack food and clothes. We had the two tent setup on the Tundra and had ample space between the two tents for our family. The smart canopy made it easy to grab all cutlery, dishes, etc. The stove top made cooking a breeze and the add on of the fire pit allowed for great mornings and smores at night. Ryan was super accommodating and made renting super efficient. His overview when we picked up the truck made our setup on site super easy and quick. Highly recommend using Northirn and look forward to renting from them again next year!

Fantastic experience: Everything was superb from the beginning. Ryan and the team were super helpful, answered all the questions and gave some advice and tips where to stop throughout our roadtrip. We rented Ford Ranger, a very reliable car with reasonable fuel economy. The whole camping setup was amazing, well designed and extremely practical with every detail in mind. Totally worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: We’ve rented the Toyota Tundra with two rooftents for ten days. Such an awesome car. Support from guys from Northirn Overland was great. They show us how to open and close tents and also stuff for camping was included. I will never forget about this trip!

Fantastic experience: My girlfriend and I hired one of the guys trucks in August for a 2.5 week road trip. Nic and Ryan couldn’t have been more helpful with planning our trip and gave us plenty of advice, tips and importantly food recommendations. The Ford Ranger absolutely ate up the roads with no trouble. The iKamper tent was super comfy also. First experience overlanding but would certainly recommend again.

Fantastic experience: We rented one of these guys' trucks over the last few weeks, an awesome Toyota Tacoma. And let me tell you; that iKamper rooftop tent is the bomb! Almost 2-2 meters of sleeping space, surprisingly comfy and setup and take down take less than 5 mins Truck was filled with everything one might need on a trip (except a bbq, one feedback would be - add one ) and it was dead comfortable to drive. We had a video chat before the trip commenced and they turned our 'uhh we might do this or that, oh and that' into a plan that could actually be done whilst still following the laws of physics and sent us a pdf full of great tips, options and places to stay. I couldn't recommend these guys more! Such a great trip.

Fantastic experience: Great car for a family of 5 and a winter road trip from Vancouver to Lake Louise!! Ryan was easy to communicate with and always available. We have our eyes on our next camping trip, in the summer this time. It's a small business and we love supporting locals, 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: Renting the RAV4 with Ryan was a very easy process - he was easy to communicate with so the entire experience was enjoyable. Would highly recommend Northirn Overland for others looking to rent an overlanding vehicle!

Fantastic experience: Ryan was easy to communicate and super helpful. We rented their Rav4 for two people and it comes with everything equipped from foldable chairs, table, cookware and utensils to mini-fridge running off battery, and most importantly, TP, wipes and hand sanitizer! The rooftop tent was easy to setup and comfortable while keeping pesky mosquito swarm out with puffy pillows, warm sleeping bags and thick mattress. The fairy light is a nice touch too! Since the car is insured by day, rental is by days not hours. Early and late return will need to be communicated and will incur additional service fee. Also plan for a good half an hour for walkthroughs of the ins and outs of the car and how to setup the tent.

Fantastic experience: We just got back and man was this our best experience of over-landing! Up until now, we have mostly been sleeping on an air mattress in our car, and the trailer offered a luxury upgrade of a nicely padded mattress, comfortable setting and a general peace of mind. We also rented the foldable Kayak, which I must say is now on my Wishlist, and received so many complements on both the Kayak and the trailer. The trailer was awesome, but perhaps more awesome is their team. We’re definitely renting from Northirn Overland again. In fact, we’re already planning our next trip! :)
