Fantastic experience: Our experience was with Joy McGinnis at Travel Time in Kelowna. I cannot recommend this woman more highly! With great warmth and enthusiasm she worked with us to build a three month trip combining solo travel with two bus tours, and one cruise. When one of the bus tours canceled at the last minute she secured an alternate that both fit our time constraints and covered almost the same itinerary. She researched and provided us short-listed hotel options for 14 locations, all cancelable, and all reconfirmed and pre-paid in the week or so before each individual stay…vouchers emailed to us as those stays came up. She researched and suggested specific tours for each location, providing us an easy portal to book, or not, as we wished. She arranged train tickets and hotel transfers as needed. She provided a very clearly laid out full trip itinerary, with important information and to do’s dated and highlighted. All through the planning process Joy was very responsive to our ideas and wishes. There were several re-thinks and revisions, all of which she took in stride and worked with. Joy was on the phone right away to help and revise when one of our party’s plans were disrupted by Covid while already en route. She filed the insurance claim immediately, and is still there to help us deal with it if needed. We had a terrific well-planned trip that went smoothly in all the important places, but still left us lots of freedom for the little hiccups and discoveries that make for great stories.
