Fantastic experience: If you want to spend an extraordinary day, do not hesitate to board Captain Savard's boat. Intimate, family-friendly, comfortable, and very entertaining, that summarizes the atmosphere on board quite well. What can we say about the colorful and friendly Captain who entertained and amused us throughout the day with funny and historical stories describing the islands? Thanks also to his lovely companion Carmen who, fortunately, knows how to regain the course when it is led astray by a flood of thoughtful anecdotes, almost all of which are true, making us reflect on the beauty of the Mingan islands and Havre St-Pierre... The skeptics will be confounded... but especially very happy to have chosen this unique cruise. Thanks again, Louis and Carmen.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful trip with Captain Richard and his companion! What a chance to be on a wonderful sailboat with a very small group! There were many explanations and interesting anecdotes! The character alone is worth the detour!! Superb boat where the day goes by slowly. Unlike the fast and crowded boats we see passing by us, Captain Richard's sailboat allows us to appreciate the landscape and the feeling of the sea while listening to the Captain's stories as his gentle one takes the helm. Taking the time, we spot marine mammals and birds; the sailboat changes course and even stops to observe and interpret them, much to our delight. 5-star recommendation, without hesitation!! Fully accredited by Parks Canada for the Mingan Archipelago.

Fantastic experience: Super choice for a couple's cruise, Captain Richard and his wife are truly a wonderful couple and the boat is great. The visit to the Mingan Islands is extraordinary, thanks again.

Fantastic experience: A crew of 2 characters you absolutely must meet! A beautifully orchestrated cruise by the captain and his second. They managed to adapt the program to the weather to allow us to have an unforgettable day. The captain is full of stories about the history of the places visited and he took over from the park guides who are no longer conducting tours of the islands due to COVID. He and his second immediately made everyone feel at ease and we felt at home on 'the Mariner' for the day. Excellent, I recommend!

Fantastic experience: The captain is a character to meet, just like his sidekick. It’s the only day cruise I found, in a family atmosphere, filled with the captain's outrageous stories and his good humor. The change in schedule due to the fog was much appreciated, and he himself acted as the guide within the park (the park guides from Canada could not accompany tourists due to COVID). Thanks to the captain and his second, you feel at home, it's great! Don’t look for an office, he doesn’t have one.
