Fantastic experience: I joined Ken (Owner) and some aquaintances to learn more about snow structure, terrain and avalanche risk by taking the AST1 course this week. We covered the material via Zoom over 2 evenings and then an actively-distanced day in th back country to observe and assess avalanche risk. I thought it could be an interesting package. I would recommend this course to anyone spending time in the back country whether it be touring, cat-skiing or heli-skiing. Ken was responsive, super knowledgeable and humble. Great traits for anyone in the back country. I would recommend Ken for any educational or actual touring. He is abundantly aware of the terrain across Canada and abroad. Respectful, curious, practical and humor all tied up in an enjoyable (bi-lingual) package.
