Fantastic experience: OMG! I don't even know where to start! My husband and I have recently retired and it was time to go on that #1 bucket list trip. Our dream was to go to Australia and New Zealand and now was the time to do it but where to start? Luckily, we were given a good review from a friend and we decided to contact Jill at Custom Adventures Inc. What a wonderful experience we had with Jill. She was thorough in finding out what WE really wanted to do and places WE really wanted to go and put together our trip of a lifetime within the budget we laid out for ourselves. She was always available to answer our questions and was quick to make requested changes. And how was our trip you ask...well our hotels were exceptional, our excursions were fun, our drivers and tour guides were wonderful. Jill made our 4 week trip so easy with detailed itineraries and prepaid tours. We didn't have to think about a thing. We could relax and enjoy our trip knowing everything was in order. We would definitely recommend Jill and look forward to working with her on our next bucket list trip. Thank you Jill for everything!

Fantastic experience: We met with Jill Fost almost a year ago to start planning our dream trip to Africa. We were travelling with 4 adults and wanted a trip tailored only to us instead of being part of a prepackaged tour with a big group - we always feel like part of a herd on those trips and prefer the freedom of being on our own. As experienced travellers we usually research and plan trips ourselves, but this was a new area of the world for us with overwhelming options and a higher level of travel risk, so we wanted the security of having matters organized by a knowledgeable professional. Jill was extremely helpful, professional and collaborative at all stages of this process. She has extensive knowledge of Africa and helped us narrow down our travel plan. She provided us with great options for safari lodges and city stays within our budget, and all of the places she recommended were top notch. There were lots of moving parts as getting around Africa is not simple, Jill just took care of everything. She arranged private drivers, activities at locations and flights as needed. She also partnered with a like-minded travel consultant in Africa so we had support on the ground during the trip. We felt fully cared for and secure every step of the way, while still enjoying the bespoke tour experience we were looking for. Everything went smoothly, and we had the trip of a lifetime. Fantastic experience: Actually this rating should be 10 stars. We just returned from a wonderful vacation hiking Hadrian's Wall and then a visit to Edinburgh. Jill looked after everything. Fights were great, the hotels were equally as good and she arranged guides in Scotland. Also we were originally scheduled to go by train to Newcastle and the rail system had a one day strike. Jill was on top of the situation and arranged for a driver. All in all Jill provided fabulous service. We're already planning our next adventure with Jill.

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from two fantastic weeks in Europe. We covered four countries in that time, and everything was precisely orchestrated by Jill & her team. Little details truly relieve any anxiety. Such as after each travel when you arrive or depart from airports or train stations, and there is your professional driver! That is a relief not having to figure out how to get to your hotel, and whether you are getting ripped-off. No way with Jill's organization. This is a great service. The Hotel selections that Jill made, were excellent from comfort, to staff, and wonderful breakfast buffets that were included. You realize that one of the key components to an exceptional trip is the pre-planning that someone else has taken care of. The custom excursions for just the two of us with our Driver/Tour Guide were a pleasure. Not a bus trip with 40 strangers, but a very special day with each of these professional and friendly locals. Fantastic experience: I want to give a shout out to Jill Fost @ Custom Adventures and tell you about my experience and why I highly recommned her services I first contacted Jill in April about a trip to Italy and because a few family member waffled on whether they would join us or not we wound up changing things up quite a few times going back and forth. We eventually did not book until July and not once did we fell any pressure or negativity about having so many changes to the potential trip When we finally knew just who would be going, we decided on a few cities and a certain number of days to stay at each. Seeing as she had already spent a lot of time and effort on us it could be understandable that she just say 'ok' and book that right then and there. But Jill went the extra mile again. She told me she would ultimately book what I wanted, but advised that she thinks certain stops would be too much time for what we descirbed as wanting to do etc. As it turns out she was exactly right, we found ourselves ready to move on at each stop excatly at the times which she advised and we took the advice In fact, 2 of the stops she advised, La Spezia ( Cinque Terre ) and Lucca wound up being the highlights of our trip and we would never have known about them if not for her The service didnt stop once we were booked, as the days led up to our departure, she was right there answering my 100 stupid questions and never got a feeling she was annoyed or anything bu happy to answer as best she could, or find out if she didn't know the answer Again the service did not stop there, she also had procedures in place at each stop in case something went wrong and she could not be reached due to the time change. This worked perfectly when one of our tour guides was sick, in the background things started to happen and we were offered an upgraded tour of Venice which wound up being a highlight of that stop. She then immediately reached out in the morning her time, to make sure that the procedures in place worked. She was also there to answer any of my additional questions right until the last day. When I first asked in this group about a travel agent, I got lots of comments about Jill and how "she doesn't build trips, she builds dreams" and I thought maybe that was a stretch. Well she didn't just build my daughter and I a trip, it was a dream vacation. And again, her advice of Lucca and La Spexia really made the trip Hotels, trains, airport transfers were all well thought out, safe, efficient and at a price point we had discussed. I will give her an extra shout out for not running away when in the early stages I said "I'm not one of the rich Burlington people, I am going to have a budget for this" She was just honest about what would fit into our budget and what would not, without judgement or pressure If you want a thoughtfully planned, stress-free trip, I would higlhy reccommend Jill Fost at Custom Adventures as a travel agent. There is no way I could have planned all that on my own and had such a great experiance
