Canada by Design

Fantastic experience: We just finished a Canadian rail from Toronto to Quebec city. It was so nice to not have to drive anywhere. Everything was set up for us, hotels the trains and all tours. Ottawa is a beautiful beautiful city. Quebec city of course, is like being in France, so you can get a hint of Europe Without a time change and a nine hour flight. Montreal has a lot to see. The hotels were well situated so you could pretty much walk everywhere. We even walked from the train station to our hotel in two of the cities. We are in our mid 60s and in pretty good shape . The food was excellent everywhere we ate. Canada is a gorgeous country. We only got to see basically three big cities, but the train ride enabled us to see the country in between. We are now looking at the same train going through Alaska. Enjoy

Fantastic experience: Mandy worked very hard to make our Banff/Rocky Mountaineer trip very enjoyable. We were amazed at how smoothe everything went, and the fact that we really had no worries on the trip because she thought of every detail. The train ride was perfect, and the side trips by motor coach were so enjoyable. All the accommodations were beyond beautiful. We are already talking about returning to the beauty of truly lovely Canada where the people are just as beautiful and friendly as the scenery is. This trip was as close to perfect as it could be. Fantastic experience: We had a great trip to the Rocky Mountains and Okanagan valley by Canada by design. Alisha provided a tailor made trip with good suggestions, and view points. The hotels were excellent and met our expectations. We had three organized tours:Fodue tour in Jasper which was wonderful, a signiture hike in Banff which was absolutely fantastic and a winery tour in Kelowna which was lovely and we were even very lucky with the weather. Just remember after all the wine tasting to check you get the bottles you purchased . I didn't, and as a result didn't receive a very good wine I bought and was sorry to lose. Thank you Alisha and the team!!

Fantastic experience: Canada by Design did an awesome job planning our trip from Calgary to Vancouver. The hotels & excursions they booked were amazing from a grizzly bear tour, whale watching & hiking the Lake Louise area to recommendations on other hikes as well as highlighting sightseeing attractions. They will tailor the trip to what you want to see & do. Definitely would use them again.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Sue Barnaby and Mandy all the accommodation you booked for us was brilliant close to everything we needed with great service Rosedale on Robson in Vancouver, Delta Suites in Whistler and especially Laurel on the Point in Victoria what a great position and view right in the middle of James Bay. All of our activities came together very well High tea at The Empress in Victoria, sea to Sky Gondola and Harbour Seaplane from Whistler to Victoria, Butchart gardens were amazingly beautiful, and to top it off Eagle Wing whale watching our only orca sighting in our whole trip including Alaska breathtaking. Fantastic experience: To Discover Holidays Vancouver. We would like to extend our great appreciation and thanks to Lisa from Discover Holidays in Vancouver Canada for her outstanding service. My wife and I had never holidayed in Canada before and were unsure of good locations to visit. We had 3 week’s annual leave in April 2023 but no real idea of where to visit. We contacted Discover Holiday’s in Vancouver via email to seek help from an experienced travel agent to assist with coordinating our proposed holiday. We were put in contact with Lisa, she was amazing to deal with, had broad knowledge of locations, hotels, attractions and how to get the best from our holiday time. Information of our preferences, types of activities etc was supplied and Lisa returned a selection of options for us to consider. The entire process and correspondence from first email, understanding our preferences, budget, and time limit etc worked seamlessly and was an excellent experience. We made a few changes to the itinerary prior to confirming bookings, adding an extra week at last minute to incorporate or wedding anniversary, which again turned out perfectly and unexpected as Lisa had arranged an anniversary gift for us when we arrived in our hotel room that day. The locations we visited were Vancouver, Grouse Mountain, Whistler, Calgary, Banff, Lake Louise, and Vancouver Island. Highlights were too many to name we loved the entire trip. Fantastic experience: St. John , New Foundland was an amazing trip. We stayed at the Alt Hotel , which was centrally located in the working harbor. The view from our room was magnificent and the service was superb! The tours scheduled for our trip were amazing. The guides were knowledgeable and provided many opportunities for hiking, picture taking and tasting local foods.
