Fantastic experience: We had a great stay at Marigold Airbnb Dec 12th and 13th. It was just perfect for unwinding, relaxing and enjoying the scenery. We also enjoyed a wine tour with Torsten who took us to 4 wineries that were amazing! Going this time of year was perfect as the Owners and Winemakers had time to chat with us and answer our many questions! We highly recommend the stay and the wine tour!

Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of having Corinne as our guide for a private tour. She was very knowledgeable about wines and the history of the places we were going to! We really appreciated having a non alcoholic stop in the middle of the tour to eat our snack box and balance it out with some water. Would 100% book again in the future!

Fantastic experience: We used Sandbanks Vacations for our guest shuttle at our wedding. Planning the shuttle with Sandbanks Vacations was super easy, and they really took care of everything. Our guests were so appreciative of the smooth transportation, which made getting from the venue a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for better service!

Positive experience: We did the sip and cycle tour and Jim and Thomas were great tour guides that made it fun for the whole day. We went to 3 wineries and 1 distillery. My only critique is that the distillery we went to only gave us 1 cocktail as part of our tasting and was a little disappointing. The wineries we went to were great and offered several tastings and even a few bonus ones. The tour was well put together and I recommend it overall.

Fantastic experience: We hired Sandbanks Vacations to provide a shuttle service for our wedding guests at the end of the night. They were very professional and accommodating throughout the whole process. We were very pleased with our experience and glad we went with them to ensure our guests had a safe and reliable way to get home.

Fantastic experience: We booked the County Trio Tour with Sandbanks Vacations to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and what an amazing experience! We were picked up at the requested location, and, to our surprise, we were the only ones on this tour. We felt like we were on our own private tour! Fantastic experience: I cannot express to you ENOUGH how much I recommend this company. They got me in at every winery i wanted to visit, the bus was LUXURIOUS!!, Larry was the best tour guide I could have ever hoped to receive, and purchasing the extra hours for the shuttle service was the best move ever! The price was insanely reasonable given how well we were taken care of every step of the way. In case you're curious: I took the tour that visited 3 wineries and i bought the extended hours to include a shuttle service to and from a 4th winery where we booked a private dinner to celebrate my partners 40th birthday. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: We had a great time with Larry as our driver on a private wine tour. Larry had lots of information to share about the history of the county and the wineries. We took the tour with family members ranging in age from early 20s to mid 40s and we all enjoyed the experience very much! We never felt rushed, we got to experience some great wineries that were new to us and to eat a delicious lunch.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing time on our Sip N Cycle Wine Tour with Sandbanks. Jim and Thomas were our tour guides, and provided us with a fun-filled experience! Each stop was uniquely different, and being able to bike through Prince Edward County made the entire experience more exciting than your usual wine tour on a shuttle bus!

Fantastic experience: We had a fun and relaxing bike tour with Jim our guide. He was very knowledgeable about Prince Edward County. As a group of 6, he let us choose our pace and let us stop at Strange Brew, a micro brewery for some uniquely tasting beer. But the snacks could be healthier.

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic bachelorette party with Ted as our guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable, a great driver, and even doubled as a fun photographer. I highly recommend this tour company, especially if you can request Ted as your guide.

Fantastic experience: While staying at The Waring House, My Mom and I had a great experience with Sandbanks Vacations. We did the county trio wine tour. Dave was our driver, he was friendly, informative, and on time. We really enjoyed all three wineries that we visited. The group of people we toured with made it a fun experience. We would definitely book another wine tour again with Sandbanks Vacations.

Fantastic experience: We booked a bus with Sandbanks Vacations to pick up and drop off our group of 19 to the Hayloft Bar on a Saturday evening. The booking process was seamless, and the driver on the night of was incredible. She was punctual and very flexible with pick up time at the end of the night. Thank you for making our transportation to and from our destination safe and stress free!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I had planned a little getaway in Picton at the end of June. We booked a private wine tour and very much enjoyed our day out with Torsten who took us to a variety of vineyards. We visited two smaller family run vineyards, Sugarbush and Kein - The and then also visited Sandbanks and Huff. Torsten was very knowldedgable about the Picton region and gave lots of good advice on where to eat. We also ordered the small charcuterie box and was very impressed by its tasty contents. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: We recently booked a wine tour for a bachelorette with Sandbanks Vacations. Our guide, Claire, was fantastic! We visited Stanners, Sandbanks and Rosehall Run. The staff at all these wineries also contributed to our very positive experience!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Sandbanks Vacations & Tours! We used both their shuttle service and their bachelorette wine tour for our party of 9. Ted was great in getting us to our location on time, even after some confusion, and even went the extra mile to help one of our party members who wasn’t feeling well and had to come back to the house. In the morning, we were met by Corinne who took us through an awesome wine and cider tour! She was knowledgeable about all of the stops and made sure we were comfortable. Thank you to Ted & Corinne, as well as Matthew for helping us prepare everything!

Positive experience: Overall, we had a good experience with this wine tour! Our tour guide was genuinely friendly, accommodating and all around just a pleasant person. We really enjoyed the wineries we went to. The only complaint I had was with the communication between the tour company and wineries. Wine tastings were included in the price of our tour but at 2 of the wineries, they didn't seem to be aware. The wine tasting guide at one place told our group what the price of the flight was (which got us all confused) and at another place, I was charged the tasting fee when I purchased a bottle of wine. It was all quickly resolved with no issue but it just created a bit of awkwardness.

Fantastic experience: We had a lovely experience. Larry was absolutely fantastic. Great recommendations, very knowledgeable and very friendly. Our van was great, very comfortable. Great selection of wineries & varieties present with different specialities which made for a very memorable bachelorette evening. Would come back for an occasion or summer visit and would love to have Larry!

Fantastic experience: LOVED our wine tour with Sandbanks Vacations! Their door to door shuttle service was exactly what we were looking for to help with the peace of mind of safely getting around the region. Torsten was a world class driver, with exceptional knowledge of the area and was amazing to spend the afternoon with. This tour was myself and my partner, and we were fortunate to book a quiet Friday afternoon during the off season and got the shuttle service and most wineries to ourselves - That absolutely added a bonus to our weekend. 12/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful afternoon in October with Corinne. She was a great guide, and struck a nice balance between providing new info and leaving us as a group to enjoy our tastings. I would definitely request Corinne on a future tour. Further, in advance of the tour we had made some specific requests about our preferences, as well as our arrival and pickup time. Sandbanks was able to fully accomodate us and we loved the wineries we visited! Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: We were treated to a wonderful tour of the County, four great locations and a beautiful day. Our tour guide Larry was incredible, he took care of us from start to finish, was very knowledgeable about his county, every venue we visited, and had an impressive amount of random knowledge about what seemed like everything! Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful time on our County Wine Essentials Tour. Our Driver Joe was great and made us feel very comfortable from the start. We ended up only being 2 couples so it was nice and intimate. We definitely recommend this Vendor for wine tours.

Fantastic experience: We did a private essentials wine tour with Sandbanks Vacations and it was the best wine tour I’ve ever been on. When our driver arrived we were really impressed by the vehicle which was a limo bus which was clean and comfortable. Our driver was Greg who was so lovely. He was knowledgeable about the area, the wineries and wine in general. He made sure we were very well taken care of at each stop and made it his mission to find one of our group a wine she liked. He asked us about our tastes, made recommendations and and taught us a lot. I can’t speak highly enough about our experience with Greg (thank you Greg!). I would absolutely recommend this experience for a great girls weekend experience.

Fantastic experience: We were 5 people from Ottawa spending a lovely weekend away and who wanted to taste the wines of Prince Edward County. We didn’t want to go on a wine tasting tour and have to drive ourselves. We found Sandbanks Vacations and decided to hire them to take us around. Torsten, our driver, picked us up on time in a beautiful party-type van. He was a very good driver and brought us to 3 wineries, as that was the package we purchased. He was very professional and the tour far exceeded our expectations. We were also very lucky with the beautiful weather we experienced. We highly recommend Sandbank Vacations for the wine tour.

Fantastic experience: This is a great tour to experience to County and sample a handful of their many great wineries! We toured with family and friends, and visited 4 wineries and thoroughly enjoyed our time at each spot, as well as our tour guide, Torsten, who provided great insight into the County and where we were visiting, as well as great dinner recommendations!

Fantastic experience: We had an incredible afternoon with Sandbanks Vacations. We were staying at the Brighton KOA and they helped us arrange pick up and drop off so we could get into all the tastings. Our guide, Greg, was the absolute best. Amazing conversation, knowledge about wine and the region, as well as tips for other spots to visit. We experienced great wines, incredible hosts and the exact relaxing, enjoyable tour we were hoping for. We’ll be booking with Sandbanks again in the future and we’ll be sure to ask for a return trip with Greg!

Positive experience: Our group of five only liked a few of the wines after 10 tastings at three vineyards. Some of the spots were so pretty and locations divine. Staff at Traynor were great. The best of the three was Sugarbush, lovely wines great staff. It was a bit disappointing for $145. Our driver was a very nice person but was very awkward that he chose to sit with us at each place.

Larry is a very knowledgeable guide and provided us with excellent information on PEC, the wine making history of the area and the specific 4 wineries we visited, as well as wine making in general. We highly recommend this tour and Larry in particular.

Fantastic experience: Our wine tour guide, Peter was extremely pleasant and professional, providing knowledgeable conversation about the history of the wine industry in Prince Edward County. The wineries we visited were all excellent. The tour was well curated, providing a great insight into the wines of the area.

Fantastic experience: We booked the Bachelorette Party package with Sandbanks, visiting 4 wineries with the addition of a lunch stop at one of the wineries. We’ve visited Sandbanks, Norman Hardie (+lunch here), Traynor, & Closson Chase. Our favourite wines tasted were at the first three, although Closson Chase was the most visually pleasing. Scott was an amazing guide - picked us up on time and provided exceptional service. He came to check in on us throughout the day and even gave us umbrellas when it rained. Kelsey was the events coordinator and was very timely with responses, answering all the questions I had along the booking journey to my satisfaction. Our party thoroughly enjoyed the winery tour and everything Sandbanks Vacations had to offer. A great getaway from the city and definitely saves you the effort on booking individual wineries yourself (+ ensures you get around and get home safely after all the wine!).

Fantastic experience: This was my second time booking a wine tour with Larry as our guide. My friends and I enjoyed his tour so much last year, we requested him again! Larry is awesome; super knowledgeable and friendly and knows all the good spots in the county. We had just as much fun as last time, and got to try some new spots this time. Larry always kindly takes pictures for us at every location as well! I would recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys wine and good times! Thank you Larry, you’re a gem!

Positive experience: My friends and I had a wonderful wine tour with sip and cycle! The only inconvenience I experienced was that I was told I had to bring my own bike because I booked an extra person later than the rest. Another tour was booked right before mine and they said they only had “12 bikes.” I had to prep and bring my friends bike from London, Ontario which means more friends had to drive separately because we couldn’t fit in 1 car. We arrived at the tour to see several bikes (even with a wine tour gone before us). There ended up being more than enough bikes for my group of 7 and my extra bike was not needed. Our tour guide Jim was amazing! He was knowledgeable, genuine and made sure everyone in our group arrived to each winery even in the pouring rain! The ride through the trails was beautiful and we even had time to stop at an alpaca farm. All the wineries were amazing and beautiful! All the staff were very friendly! My friends and I had a blast!!

Fantastic experience: Booking with Sandbanks Vacations for their winery tour was very easy and they were very responsive. I enjoy that this tour provides options to not only go to wineries, but breweries and cideries as well. I have now been on this tour twice, both for bachelorette parties, and Larry was our guide. Fantastic experience: My friend and I booked a private tour for 2 and we really enjoyed having Chris as our tour guide. Chris was very friendly, engaging and welcoming. We were really impressed with his advanced knowledge of the wineries in the area as well as the history of PEC. We visited 4 different wineries, all of which we were able to find a particular favourite. We also appreciated the last winery having foods to pair with the wine! Overall amazing experience. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit the wineries PEC has to offer.

He informed us of the history of each and every winery we went to. There were four of us on this tour and we visited four wineries with four tastings at each one. Every part of this was easy and done for us, which took a lot of the work off our hands. Dave was a truly wonderful guide; he added lots of information about the county, the wine and the difference wineries as we cruised along for the day. The van we had was so clean, and water was offered to us throughout the tour. We never felt rushed, and the price was really great for what we got. I would absolutely do this tour again!

Fantastic experience: Stayed at the Cobalt Cottage. Accommodations were easy to find, clean, and well set up for a weekend away. The wine tour was fantastic, we hit a couple of small wineries, which is always nice to be introduced to new wines and places. Larry was our driver for our wine tour and shuttle to and from dinner. He was amazing. Funny and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time and got the most out of our visit. I would definitely book with them again.

Fantastic experience: My party of 10 stayed at West Lake Cottages - The Consecon a week ago (June 2023) and we all could not stop commenting about what a good place it is! Booking was a breeze, the team at Sandbanks vacations were so responsive and helpful and the cabin was perfect. It was so spacious and well laid out with a giant table in the middle perfect for meals and games. The cabin was very clean with very comfortable bedding. The Consecon is right at the lakefront with two big sliding glass doors looking out at the lake. We saw a ton of wildlife and enjoyed sitting around outside catching some sun. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The Bachelorette Wine tour was a super fun activity and we loved getting to visit 4 wineries in the Prince Edward County area! Our driver Kim was really friendly and brought a lot of energy to the day. We really appreciated her sharing information about the wineries we weren't able to visit, taking group photos for us, and dancing with us to the music in the car :) Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing time on the wine essentials tour. Our tour guide Larry was the best, truly went above and beyond to give us a fun day!! There was a good variety of wineries selected, and all the tastings were handled for us. Booking with Sandbanks was very smooth and easy and they're very responsive. Would recommend and book with them again any day, and would ask for Larry again!!

Fantastic experience: It was my parent’s 60th wedding anniversary this past week and with Sandbanks and Kim’s (our Sandbanks driver) help I was able to offer a safe and convenient way for all my guests attending the celebrations in PEC to be transported from hotel to venue and back again. The coach was clean, comfortable and cool; and, our driver Kim punctual, personal, pleasant, professional and a people-pleaser through and through. I’d highly recommend Sandbanks.

Fantastic experience: Larry was a great guide and made the experience super enjoyable and insightful! My boyfriend and I had a great time and the choices of wineries were great. We went on the Trio tour and going to 3 wineries was perfect. We also got the snack box which was delicious, however just keep in mind, although a great pairing for wine, you might not be allowed to bring it in with you to each winery. If you're going to PEC and looking for a shorter wine tour, this is a great option!

Fantastic experience: What a great day from start to finish. Fantastic wine tour with Sandbanks Vacations. Our driver Colin was fantastic. He arrived on time, is a great driver, friendly and fun. We loved our stops and the wine and bought something at each winery (go figure, LOL). We had such a great time that we plan to make this an annual event and to book again with Sandbanks Vacations.
