Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of joining Arek and Konrad of Scuba2000 on a recent liveaboard trip on the Cat Ppalu. We had an amazing time and it was one of the best diving trips of my life. This organization is top shelf and Arek, Konrad, Oz and the team at Scuba2000 are professional. They make diving safe and fun. Thanks Arek for doing the recertificaton on my Daughter Christine and look forward to many more Dive Trips with this great team. There store is well stocked with the latest gear and thanks to Oz and team I finally upgraded my regulator and bcd and I am very happy with my purchases. If you are looking to dive with a great group, look no further. Scuba2000 is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Registration for the Open Water course was seamless thanks to Janelle. The Scuba 2000 staff answered all my questions and made sure everything lined up for the e-learning and pool component. I completed the first part of the open water course with Tony as our instructor. He was an excellent instructor who thorough explained everything and made sure everyone was comfortable when doing the practical requirements. Fantastic experience: What an amazing scuba shop. Not only do they have the latest and greatest gear, but they present it with such impeccable décor. The staff is very friendly and come with a wealth of knowledge. The fact that they have a pool is awesome. Truly a one stop shop for all your scuba needs. Huge shout out to their instructor, Kyle, who helped me pass the Dry suit course. Not only did he deliver excellent training and ensure all our questions were answered, he also brought some hot chocolate keep us warm between dives.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent review training session with Arek going through safety procedures and it built my confidence after not diving for 2 years. He also gave lots of tips and tricks of the trade that will enhance my safety and comfort in the open water. Scuba 2000 was a comfortable 26°C and very clean, including the change rooms. Very nice private pool to really refresh skills without shared pool interruptions. Arek our Dive master gets a GOLD star he was very very informative on many details and skills. Negative experience: I came to check some masks and the store is closed. I didn't see anything on the website stating that it's closed. For now, 1 star as it didn't state that the store is closed on the website.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Scuba2k for about three years now. I got certified with them, traveled, and enjoyed diving locally and abroad ever since. I have been satisfied with their customer service overall. My most recent experience was related to my broken semi-dry suit, and since it was slightly out of the factory guarantee period, I was a bit worried (these things aren't cheap). A couple of days ago, I received a call from Jennel with the good news that my suit is being replaced with a new one. Thanks, Oz, for negotiating with Hollis to make this happen. I couldn't be happier.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful learning experience at Scuba2000 with instructors Andrew and Elaine for the confined pool training section of our open water PADI certification. They paid close attention to all students and worked with us to get to where we needed to be, offering tips and adjustments along the way (ex. Equalization tips, mask clearing tips etc). Initially, I had a hard time with the concept of breathing underwater, but by the second class, I already felt like a pro, and had no worries completing our 4 open water certification dives in the Caribbean. I loved that Scuba2000 has its own tropical (warm) pool for training and equipment in tip top shape. Their shop also has everything one could ever require. Special shout out to Janelle at the front desk who answered all of our very last minute questions ahead of signing up. She was a pleasure to communicate with. I would certainly come back for future training and/or refresher courses!

Fantastic experience: Had a great time completing the in class and pool portion of the PADI Open Water certification course with Terry. It was great to hear about his diving experience. We learned the skills we needed with safety as top priority and was given time at the end of the course to further practice our skills and enjoy the experience. Highly recommended. I was able to try out two mask styles before choosing one that fit the best and I also got a good deal on a dive computer that I never knew I needed.

Fantastic experience: I did my PADI refresher dive last week with Milan after a lengthy hiatus from diving. The practical review was confidence-instilling, and he expertly guided me through all the skills I needed to get out and dive again, which I am doing right now. Fantastic experience: My bf and I completed our open water dive certification over the weekend in Tobermory. We had the pleasure of having Jen and Oz as our instructors. Both were accommodating to the groups needs and responds quickly to any questions / concerns that we might have. I had issues with my mask that I purchased from Scuba 2000 previously and was not fitting well during the open water dives - Oz/Jen kindly switched the mask out with their alternate mask, allowing me to finish the course successfully. They've also warranted replacement of the mask back at the shop when I do have time to return/get it fitted. Overall, we had a great time learning the skills and also had a lot of fun diving around the shipwrecks in Tobermory. Definitely recommend Scuba 2000 for anyone interested in starting their diving journey!

Fantastic experience: I've had several great experiences with Scuba 2000. First in the shop with Janelle which led to me taking my open water referral course with Ana Marie and Terry. If you're nervous to begin because you don't know anything yet, go to Scuba 2000. Everyone in this shop has been so patient and kind as I begin to learn about the diving world.

Fantastic experience: Last weekend, we had the pleasure of attending an exhilarating mini event at Monet Point, centered around scuba diving and an exciting treasure hunt. Hosted by scuba 2000A The event was impeccably organized, offering a perfect blend of adventure and fun for every guest who attended. The experience was phenomenal. The instructors were highly professional and ensured that everyone, from beginners to seasoned divers, felt comfortable and safe before entering the waters. T Adding to the adventure was the treasure hunt, which was a brilliant addition to the event. Participants were given hints ans of where the bobbles would be and had to navigate through the underwater terrain to find hidden treasures. This activity not only enhanced the diving experience but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among the participants. Overall, the event was a great success. It provided an excellent opportunity to explore the underwater beauty of Monet Point while engaging in a fun and interactive activity. Kudos to the organizers for putting together such a memorable event!

Fantastic experience: Went for Spring Treasure Dive 2024, and had a great time! Great group of friendly, knowledgeable people, and will definitely attend another event!

Fantastic experience: Took part in the 2024 spring dive up in Barrie. Getting rental equipment, and ready for the event was a breeze thanks to Sue and Oz at Scuba 2000. Fantastic experience: Awesome! People there are one of a kind. Service for store and classes treat you like family. It felt like I knew them for a long time. They take the necessary time to make sure you understand. No sales pressure on buying anything in the shop. Recommend even if it's out of your way.

Negative experience: Their website said they do the air tank service that i needed. I also phoned them to confirm. Upon arrival they weren't friendly and wasted my time while they looked at the tank for 5 minutes, i had to show them where the date stamp was. Then they answered a call and after standing there for 5 more minutes and no one helping me i left to the other local scuba shop i found on google, who were a pleasure to deal with.

Fantastic experience: We took our niece and nephew to do their Bubblemakers course at Scuba 2000 and the experience was so easy and welcoming end to end. The course isn’t offered by many scuba shops in Toronto so we were happy to have found it at one of the best shops in the city. Janelle and Sue were very helpful in getting us in and Terry was a phenomenal instructor! It was his first time teaching a Bubblemakers course but you wouldn’t know it. He was so patient with the kids and able to adjust to their age differences and different attention spans. He kept them both engaged and imparted so much knowledge. They were so comfortable and able to swim around and dive deeper at the end. The kids had a fantastic experience and we’re so excited to have more scuba aficionados in the family. Fantastic experience: I wanted to do a full open water refresher course, as I got certified before Covid and with all the shutdowns and travel restrictions, it made it very difficult to be able to continue practising the scuba diving skills that I had learned during my open water course. After not being in the water for over 3 years, I booked a full open water refresher course, which consisted of doing all of the main scuba techniques in the pool and I was very happy that I did. My instructor Terry was absolutely amazing! He is very knowledgeable, patient and calm. Qualities that you definitely want in a scuba diving instructor. He made sure that we were able to fully demonstrate each of the different techniques and always made himself available before, during and after the sessions to ask for any further clarifications. I would highly recommend doing a course with Terry, as he works hard making you feel comfortable under the water, while making the learning fun.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I did the Open Water Referral Course at Scuba 2000. We had two days of training with Andrew & Sue in the pool and really enjoyed ourselves. Both instructors were knowledgeable and guided us easily through the pool theory. I would definitely go back for my Advanced Open Water! I recommend you decide ahead of time if you want to do self-guided eLearning or do the full days at Scuba 2000 (mornings in class and afternoons in pool). I booked eLearning by accident and it wasn’t conducive to my learning style, it’s about 6-8 hrs of online reading, tests and videos. If you learn better with a teacher, don’t choose eLearning and you will also receive a textbook and cute PADI bag… the days will be long but I think it’s worth it for the full experience and to fit the course into a weekend. In the eLearning scenario, your online work and exams must be completed before you attend the weekend course, and you only need to show up for the afternoons in the pool.

They both took the time to explain and make sure I understood every step before proceeding to the next one. Fantastic experience: Did my Master Scuba Diver cert with S2K this summer and they were excellent from start to finish. Nasim set up all the specialties i wanted and moved things around numerous times to accommodate changes in my schedule. Dive instructors were top notch, especially Kyle who is not only a great instructor but an all around nice guy with a true passion for diving. Only downside is that their store is so well stocked that every time i went in there to pick up or drop off tanks i ended up buying things! Thanks for everything S2K, you are my go-to dive shop from now on.

Fantastic experience: My experience was awesome! They did an incredible job teaching us the basics of diving, and they were super helpful in sending us reminders about the course and things to bring to the pool. The instructors paid attention to each participant, and they made sure we were doing the exercises in the correct way. They also were very patient as some exercises were a bit more complex. It was a great experience! I am just missing my open water diving exercises (last part of the course), and I can't wait to start thar!

Positive experience: It was a great experience, but the class should not be more than four people, because of indoor pool size I was talking on my 2nd experience with the 2nd instructor, she said the pool is the PADI standard for 8 students, but I don't think .so For the Second time I was there, the size of the class was Perfect (4 students) but If they could arrange the equipment before the pool training, it makes it much better

Fantastic experience: Got certified with Scuba 2000 back in 2012 and just recently did a refresher over a decade later with them. Same top tier quality of service, training and instruction across all experiences. Jim and Sue were awesome for the refresher at their facility. I also did 4 open water dives in Tobermory led by Milan and Nate, who were fantastic instructors and always ensured everyone was safe while still having a good time.

Fantastic experience: I had a refresher dive class with Milan. He was patient, thorough and fun to dive with. The pool is warm and clean and all the gear is properly maintained. I’m comfortable and confident going into my dive holiday coming up.

Positive experience: I just completed the in class instruction and indoor pool diving practice. My instructor has patient to respond your questions both in class and pool. She insisted you have to redo several times diving skills until up to the standard, which ensures your safety and comfortability when diving in open sea.

Fantastic experience: I used Scuba2000 back in 2004 for my open water classroom training and returned for refresher skills practice yesterday. Milan, our dive instructor took us on time, reviewed all the skills required to get familiar with diving again after a 6 year break. He gave lots of opportunity to practice and gave feedback as necessary. Well done! I use Scuba2000 for all my diving needs.

Fantastic experience: Update September 2023: What a great experience! My daughter completed her open water certification dives with Instructor Ana Marie and Dive Master Nate. They were a fabulous team, very patient and professional but lots of enthusiasm! My daughter had a great time and looks forward to her next dive as a certified diver! Review July 2023: My daughter started her open water certification course with Scuba 2000 and had such a great experience with the confined water lessons. Her instructor, Laura, and Dive master, Eric, were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun. Everyone we met at this location so far, offered friendly and professional service, including Janelle, Therese, Nate, Siodon, Sue and Oz! The instructor was very patient and knowledgeable, I think his name was Terry. We will likely book her certification training next!

Fantastic experience: Did my Open Water course and certification with Scuba 2000 between instructors Laura and Sean. They were both very knowledgable, passionate, and made good judgment calls in the pool and during the exam in the lake. Janelle and Sue at the shop are very welcoming and helpful with picking and fitting gear. Everyone seems to remember you after a single visit and you immediately feel like part of the community.

Fantastic experience: Just travelled to Cozumel to complete advanced open water with Laura- as always, I had an absolute blast on this trip! We got to see the most stunning dive sites, incredible marine life, good food- and more importantly, I felt very safe and taken care of. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: A couple weeks ago I went there for the first time as they offer the refresher and pool practice. Janelle greeted me at the desk quite happily and shook my hand. I was also introduced to my instructor, Terry. I was his first student, and he also eagerly greeted me. Right from when I walked in I felt the family-like atmosphere. My dive session with Terry went amazing, he encouraged me to ask questions throughout, made me feel comfortable, was an excellent teacher, and especially if I needed to improve in an area, we would do it again until I was confident in my skills. I was told I am now dive-trip ready, and I can say with certainty my first trip, and any other courses or practices I elect to do moving forward will be with Scuba 2000!! Fantastic experience: I first visited Scuba 2000 during their garage sale last April 30th. I went there to talk to the store manager, Oz, as I was doing my due diligence of assessing the merits of taking my IDC here in Canada vs. Asia. I was 90% decided to take it in the Philippines but after talking to Oz, Janelle and Therese, I knew that I have found my scuba family in Scuba 2000. Oz didn’t sell to me the IDC at all. He was honest to tell me that I would need to do a lot of catching up as the other candidates have started their IDC back in February. The honesty, warmth and welcoming spirit of Oz and everyone I have met at the shop during that day turned the 10% into 100% in favor of Canada. As I started my IDC, Siodin, Jim and Oz made themselves available for me to catch up with the other candidates. Their unwavering support, guidance and motivation propelled my determination to finish the course and take the IE last weekend, Jun 10-11, 2023. The management and staff went above and beyond the support needed by the candidates to ensure that we were all ready and well-prepared for the IE. I am happy, delighted and proud to join their esteemed roster of instructors. :-)

Fantastic experience: Always fun diving with Scuba2000. Recently took the Dry Suit course and our instructor Kyle was very experienced and knowledgeable. Appreciate the time that shop staff Sue and Nate take in getting me all kitted out with gear.

Fantastic experience: Highly Recommend! I have done discovery diving here, I was nervous, not feeling good at the time. I was ready to quit. However they encouraged me to give it a second try. They let me try for the second time for free and finally I felt much calmer and better. Then I decided to take the course. We have done our confined water dive here with Jim. He is a fantastic instructor who gave us lots of supports and encouragement. He is patient and explained everything in great details. We have had fun time with him. The staff in the shop are also very friendly and helpful. They even let you try on the mask and test in the pool before you buy it. It is great service. I would recommend my friends to learn diving here absolutely!

Fantastic experience: Good dive shop, good instructors, good products. Nice large store so you don't feel claustrophobic like some smaller dive shops. All my experience has been positive with this store.

Fantastic experience: My son and I had a great experience in our 2 day learn to dive course. Our instructor Jim was detailed, helpful and offered a lot of great knowledge.

Fantastic experience: Great shop with great staff. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Best mask selection in the GTA. And for a small fee, you can jump in their pool and try them out (I tried 5 different ones) to get the right mask with the best, most comfortable fit. Definitely worth the drive to Richmond Hill!
