Fantastic experience: Wow great fun. The dogs are all individuals, some friendly, some very friendly, some could care less and a couple just wanted to be left alone. But there's time for lots of loving for those that want loving. Once the sleds started to be populated the excitement was heard loud, clear and hilarious. Then the launch.......these are Alaskan huskies, solid muscle. If you have ever driven an electric vehicle, the instant start won't surprise you but it is startling in a good way. Then it's quiet sledding with each of those amazing animals each trying to outdo each other. It's so clear to see they intensely love what they do. We had a chance to co-mush, learned a lot about the dogs and sledding and at the end got to feed them. My musher Cynthia, was excellent, friendly, informative and absolutely loves what she does and of course her dogs. Will definitely be doing this again.

Fantastic experience: My husband & I landed on this description for Kingmik: MAGICAL! We fell in love with the dogs. Our guide, Jim, was amazing & he clearly loved his dogs. From the moment we were picked up by Dean, the van driver, we knew we were in great hands. We loved the immersive experience that started with meeting the dogs & ended with being able to give these majestic animals (our team) a treat for an amazing sled. The route we sledded along was winter storybook quality - stunning, absolutely stunning. We'd add a few more STARS to the experience. Huge WOW!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I visited Lake Louise in February and we wanted to enjoy the scenery by dog sledding. We selected Kingmik and we had a fabulous time. It was friendly, organized, and hospitable. Our lead Reese let us co-pilot and snuggle up in the sled. She took lots of pictures of us and the dogs were so sweet and interactive. It was perfect!

To see how well cared for and trained the dogs were is so heartwarming. The all female staff was badass and so accommodating. The tour was breathtaking. I can't wait to go back. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: I went yesterday with my significant other. It was the TIME of OUR LIVES our guide was Cynthia she was phenomenal. The your started by us taking pictures with the dogs at our leisure and petting them they were very cuddly and nice. Then it was an amazing 35-40 mon ride where we were able to learn how to drive the sleigh with all The dogs! It was epic . I was initially worried about the comfort of two people in the sleigh as i have never done it but let me tell you it was AMAZING! Super comfy very relaxing some of the best views ever!!!! Our guide too pictures of us i fell in love with all the dogs she also explained each and everyone of her dogs you can tell how much she loved them and how valuable they are it felt so nice knowing they were loved and cared for. I fell in love with one of her dogs Pluto and Atla was such a trooper this was a bucket list check off for us and we couldn’t have imagined a better experience

Fantastic experience: Our family of four booked the Canadian Heritage tour and it was easily my favourite experience during the month we spent in Canada. Gorgeous, well loved dogs and fabulous guides. We had Megan who was incredibly knowledgeable and just fascinating to talk to. Can't recommend this tour highly enough. We all loved being passengers as well as having the opportunity to help drive the teams at different times as well. The only thing that was a touch difficult was transport. If you don't have a car and are coming from Banff during a busy season just make sure you book a return seat on the Roam 8X Lake Louise express (getting off at Lake Louise Village) in advance. We are glad we booked as there were no seats available on our return journey and the buses were an hour apart.

Fantastic experience: One of the most outstanding events of my entire life! Everything was perfect. Emily, our Musher, narrated and taught us every step of the way. The dogs are treated like the prize athletes they are. I searched and searched to make sure I found the company that ensures the best for the dogs and I found it. Their trail is also a true winter wonderland. You get to drive. They stop and take pics of you and at the end you feed the dogs that served you and yours and they give you hot chocolate and a cookie! Perfect and favorite day ever!

Fantastic experience: To remember our beloved sled-dog who passed away a year before, we booked this dog-sled activity to surround ourselves with lots of sled-dogs on the same day as his first death anniversary. We booked Kingmik because they are the only ones in Lake Louise. The experience was MAGICAL and truly unforgettable! The price was reasonable. The pick-up instructions were clear and on time. The staff were all friendly. And of course, the dogs are exceptional! They are very friendly, sweet and loving. They are healthy and fit. It was a very memorable experience and felt that our dog was running with us. He loved the snow too so the snow showers were perfect! Fantastic experience: We were married in Lake Louise and decided instead of taking pictures driving off in a limo that we would do it in a dog sled, so we took a chance on Kingmik Dog Sledders and we are so glad we did! They were not only professional, but very helpful and nice. Our guide, Rob, was the best! He was so informative and lots of fun. He did a lot of the pictures for us and also some fun videos. Fantastic experience: My two kids and I had the chance to go on a dog sled ride with Megan and it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience! It was amazing getting to meet the pups and see them get so excited for the ride, it’s obvious they love every minute of it. Once we were off it felt like we were getting a private tour of the forest with stunning mountain views throughout. We all got a chance to ride behind the sled and she took great photos of us throughout the experience. We would highly recommend it to all!

An added bonus was the fluffy snowflakes that were falling when we headed out…couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful tour. Fantastic experience: If you ask our girls what their favorite part of our Canada vacation was, they won't hesitate for a second: dog-sledding. This experience was truly unforgettable. Megan and her team are top notch in service and expertise. The dogs are amazing! They had the "shy" dogs clearly marked with a red bandana so that we could interact with only the extroverted animals, but I would say 90% of the dogs are open to attention and affection. You could tell just how well they are cared for, how much they love humans, and how happy they are to be running. We had Nina as our guide, and she was super knowledgable. Originally from France, she shared that Megan is known throughout the world as a renown dog runner. I just sensed that this was beyond your typical experience and that Megan and her team are doing this the right way. We found out that one of the dogs that my youngest daughter bonded with might be available for adoption at the end of the season. It seems the recognize when running is not a dog's passion and they find great homes for those dogs, while retaining the dogs that live to run. I love this!

Fantastic experience: We did a dog sled tour with team leader Jake on Valentine’s Day this year as part of our honeymoon vacation. We did the Great Dividd tour and it was fabulous! The dogs are so friendly, we got to pet them all and see how excited they are be there. They clearly enjoy themselves as the would jump up and down and bark like crazy every time we stopped until they got to running again. Jake was very knowledgeable about dog sledding in general and told us all about a day-in-the-life of a Kingmik dog sled pupper. We even got a chance to drive the sled ourselves; we Jake’s help of course! This is a once in a lifetime experience that I highly suggest anyone take advantage of if you’re in the area. 10/10!!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience dog sleeding the Continental Divide. Our guide Rob was great, energetic, informative and let us all take a turn on the back of the sled. My wife, daughter (5) and I all fit comfortably in the sled and 1.5 hours was the perfect amount of time. They say you get to drive it, but in reality you just hang on, but it is still 100% worth it. Even my 5 year old daughter took her turn on the back driving it. The dogs are friendly and so excited to pull the sled. You can tell they take great care of their "athletes".

Fantastic experience: Absolute best experience EVER! Add Kingmik Dog Sled Tours to your list of things to do in the Lake Louise/Banff Area! First of all, the route the dogs go on is absolutely gorgeous. The trail takes you to the Continental Divide and then we went through a wooded path the guides called "Narnia." It was simply beautiful. The dogs are, of course, SO sweet! They were clearly so excited to be there to run the sleds, but were also so happy to hang out and get lots of pets, love, and treats. The guides are all so kind and accommodating. The sleds themselves are comfortable and warm. My guide even let me drive the sled on my own, which was pretty awesome! The guides are very knowledgeable and are happy to tell you about the dogs and the area. This is such a fun and unique experience — and the only place you can dogsled through a national park! I cannot recommend this experience enough!

Fantastic experience: Our Guides Rob and Cynthia were AMAZING! Their TOP priorities were to make sure we were warm, comfortable, have the tour of our lifetime and boy did they SUCCEED! The love they both share for their team of dogs and pride they take in doing their jobs are very obvious! My Guide/Cynthia and her team/Capi, Jimbus, Percy, Limo, Paisley, Boni, Shaima, Raven and Pluto were incredible! I immediately fell in love with each and every one of them! My husband said his Guide/Rob and his team/Doc, Arnica, Hazel, Herb, Horton, Mclean, Bri, Muskrat, Holly and Evans were phenomenal. We wish we could haven taken them all back home to Louisiana, USA with us. Both, Rob and Cynthia provided great information about their Teams and along the Tour route. Cynthia even stopped to show me where a Moose had eaten off of the bark of a tree; I was very fascinated to see and learn of this! Fantastic experience: We recently took the Great Divide tour with Kingmik. It was the third time we have had this thrilling and beautiful ride. The doggies are excited and amazing and the mushers are pros. We will repeat this great experience whenever we can.

Fantastic experience: It’s the most fun thing we did in Banff and Lake Louise, if you have the budget, do it! It’s limited spaces so make sure you make reservation as early as possible. The dogs are so cute and run very fast, the seat was very comfortable. The sightseeing was amazing, if we go back ever again in the winter, we want to do it again.

Fantastic experience: Dog sledding in Banff National Park was the highlight of my friend’s recent trip to Canada. Our guide/musher, Jared was friendly, knowledgeable and great at his job. And the best part was we got to mush alongside him. We tremendously enjoyed this amazing experience and we were able to pet, play and hug the dogs to our hearts' content! The dogs were so sweet and friendly. My friend and I agreed that after the many trips we went together, this made it one of the best, if not the best! We highly recommend the Kingmik Dog Sled Tours!

Fantastic experience: Kingmik's Great Divide tour was by far the most magical way to experience the snowy back trails in Lake Louise. My husband and I loved everything about our adventure: our guide Cynthia, who told us all about the dogs, dogsledding, our surroundings; the trails that led us through the stunning mountain vistas and snowy woods to and from the BC line; and mostly our amazing sled dog team Attla, Hippie, Peny, Limo, Paisley, Rani, Sharwa, Raven, and Gwynedd! The dogs are incredible, and Cynthia and Kingmik are very serious when it comes to caring for them. Everyone visiting Lake Louise needs to tour with Kingmik!
