Positive experience: The Rockies Explorer Tour was packed from start to finish. Alexis and Elad made a fantastic team, keeping us informed with history, interesting facts, and local stories, all while maintaining great energy and high spirits throughout the journey. Pros The scenery was undeniably breathtaking. We really appreciated Alexis and Elad’s enthusiasm and stamina. Alexis’s cheerful disposition fostered a positive atmosphere as he shared his extensive local knowledge, ensuring we didn’t miss any key sights along the way. He also made sure everyone returned to the bus safely, leaving no one behind. Elad’s driving was safe and steady throughout the entire trip, and he always started the day with a lively outlook to ensure we were in good spirits for the day ahead. Cons It felt like we’d unintentionally joined a Vancouver University trip. No offence to the students (I was one myself once), but had we known this in advance, we might have chosen a different tour. The hotels were very basic—the first was disappointing, and the second only slightly better. Neither was in a convenient location, so there weren’t any good options nearby for food or drink in the evening. The days were also too long. While we could nap on the coach, the schedule seemed exhausting, especially for the staff. Overall, we had a great time, but the cons mentioned above mean it doesn’t quite reach 5/5. However, Alexis and Elad deserve 5 stars for their hard work and dedication—they are a real asset to the team at West Trek Tours.

Fantastic experience: I have just completed my Canadian Rockies w Vancouver Escorted Tour (10 days) (booked through HolidayMax) From the beginning to the end this tour was absolutely amazing, from our amazing bus driver Mr Lea who ticked all the boxes for safety and courtesy, always looking out for us, thankyou so much. Fantastic experience: I will never be able to forget this tour. I went on the 4-days long Rockies Summer Explorer tour in mid-September of 2024, and every second of it was wonderful. Our exceptional guide Alexis kindly did his best to help us lovely memories everywhere, and provided us the most fascinating informations and trivias about the Rockies which I would have never known if I had gone by myself. I was worried at first about joining a group tour alone, but after 4 days of being together we all got close to each other and enjoyed the tour together. Don drived our bus safe and comfortable, while Art took us lovely photos. One reason I went on the tour was birdwatching, and I was delighted to watch many wild birds like mountain chickadees and clark's nutcracker. I would definitely recommend this trip to my family and friends. Such a great experience. Thank you!

Our tour guide Helene was a VERY good guide. During the busrides, she entertained us with a lot of facts about the parks and towns we drive through. Helene comminicated in a very good way with us, her communication towards us was very clear. She gave us a lot of restaurant recommendations, must see places, things to do… Overall, Helene was great and we were very lucky with her as our tourguide!! Fantastic experience: I made a trip to the Rocky Mountains and I really enjoyed. The organization was really good. The first day was rescheduled because of the fires in Jasper but everything was organized very well and we visited so many nice places, especially the lakes! The communication was clear and on time and the hotels were okay. Our tour guide Helene was the best, she explained a lot about the destinations during the ride and about the history and was really friendly. I am glad I did this trip!

Fantastic experience: I went on the Rockies Summer Explorer tour, and the itinerary is great for a 4-day trip. My only concern is that we spent too little time at some of the main attractions, like Moraine Lake and the town of Banff. Maybe the schedule could be rearranged to allow a little more time at those iconic places. The hotels and the bus were good. Our guide, Madalena, was exceptional. She speaks multiple languages and is very friendly, enthusiastic, funny, and caring about her group. She shared fascinating knowledge about historical events during our ride and did her best to accommodate the needs of everyone in the group. She definitely contributed to an overall great experience.

Our guide Ryan @youchurchie was extremely knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights and historical significance about places we would have just passed by otherwise. His storytelling brought the locations to life, making the tour both educational and enjoyable. Our driver, Yee, was equally fantastic. He drove so smoothly that none of us experienced any motion sickness. Yee is a very caring person, always ensuring our comfort and safety throughout the journey. The tour was well-planned, with good accommodations and locations. Everything was organized perfectly, and the entire experience was worth every penny. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a memorable and informative trip!

The first accomodation were Chalets in a wood with view to the lake and mountains. A beautiful sky full of stars! The Tour guide Madalena was so great! She explained everything well and made sure we were on schedule. She was super friendly and had a lot of knowledge to share during the trip and did well in keeping everyone happy with games or music during the long bus drives. The bus driver was also very knowledgeable and added to her. My favorite destination was Moraine Lake! Definitely better that Lake Louise. All in all I can just recommend going on this Trip to get a taste of the Canadian Rockies!

Fantastic experience: Went recently in the Rockies Explorer and it was awesome! Everything was thought to the very last detail and the tour guide, Madalena, was very helpful and amazing. She managed to cheer us up along the bus drive and solved any problems we had. I hope to be in her group again some day. Nevertheless, the views were astonishing, 4 days aren't long enough to experience the Rockys full potential, however, we were able to get a good taste of it!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience during this tour. When I visited Lake Louise, there was no lake, just snow covering it, but the view was still amazing. Passing between the mountains always makes me feel the grandeur of nature, so I have never regretted it. My favorite place is Banff because of the towering mountains behind the charming stores and the romantic atmosphere.
