Fantastic experience: Heather Rice from Transat, Northgate Centre, Edmonton saved me CAD $1000+ for my round trip fare to Australia by advising me to make a slight change in my travel dates. She is a very down-to-earth person and go above and beyond by making my travel arrangement seamlessly. I needed an Australian Visitor Visa, so I downloaded the Australian Electronic Travel Authority app. She help me with my Visa application by helping me to take a photograph of myself, take a picture of my passport, etc. In short, she make my travel arrangement stressless. I highly recommend to contact Heather to book your next travel arrangement/vacation.

Fantastic experience: I have been dealing with Erin for the last few booking, she is very personable, friendly and goes above and beyond. My husband is a bit of a stickler when it comes to travelling and he even commented on our trip to Boston; Erin couldn’t have booked a more central hotel; everything was readily available for us and our four grandchildren. They enjoyed it so much; which is accredited to Erin. She has booked Seattle, Boston and now San Diego. Planning a trip taking four teenagers is not for the faint of heart. She is amazing. Negative experience: Got in contact with a travel agent from this office to help assist with a wedding vacation. She was not responsive and when I notified her that I had found another travel agent, she immediately answered and lied that she had been out of the office for a month for an emergency. Funny, cause this was not the truth, so if your looking for a truthful agency, this ain't it!

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend Mahezabi Shamim more highly. I only just wish I could. Five stars does not reflect the care and help she has given me. I booked a trip at short notice to Kenya and she expedited this for me. No problem there. Kenyan visa did not arrive in time.....even less problem for Mahezabi!! She rebooked my flight immediately and made it so easy for me. I was panic stricken and she was calm and professional. I am writing this from Schipol Airport after a fantastic flight from YEG. I think she got me an upgrade too!! Never going anywhere else for my travel now. NEVER!!! Trust yourself to her expertise, you will be delighted just like me. Thank you so much x David Wood

Negative experience: They never returned my phone call nor gave me information requested.

Negative experience: Stopped at this location to see about booking a vacation. Two employees were there, one with people and the other on her computer. After a few minutes the person on the computer turned to us and said that the other employee would be with us shortly. A couple of minutes went by and the employee that was working with the other people turned to us and said she was working on a visa and would be busy for 20-25 minutes. She then said we prefer you make an appointment but you can wait. We chose not to wait not because of it being 25 minutes but because of the way we were spoken to. She was quite rude and treated us like we were a bother to her. Since there is nothing on their website or at the entrance of the store about having to make appointments we were at a loss as to why she was so snotty towards us. Our business was obviously not wanted so we will not be back.

Fantastic experience: We have used Transat Travel a couple times and have to say without them I would be lost! They helped plan many family vacations and even my destination wedding. Most recently we were planning a trip to Europe that had to be cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic and Erin Hettle at Transat Travel North Gate location has been so kind, patient and understanding with us throughout the whole cancellation and re-booking process. After a couple years, we were finally booked to take another trip with Erin. With all the new travel rules and changes I truly feel that without her I would be lost. Her expertise and kindness is exactly why I will always choose a travel agent over booking online. In my opinion you cannot put a price on peace of mind or the ability to get help when you need it! Fantastic experience: Erin Hettle recently booked a package vacation for 5 of us to Las Vegas. We originally had one hotel in mind, but she recommended a different one due to location and the swimming pool. The kids absolutely loved it as did the adults. It was perfect. She was super helpful and great to deal with. Answering all our little questions and concerns, as this was our first time travelling since COVID. She has helped us arrange a number of cruises, is so patient as we frequently change our minds, has found us excellent places to stay before and after and given great tips on such things as tours, places to eat, transportation to and from the airport and ships. Then she keeps us posted on pending dates and provides us with a detailed package with everything we need to navigate a stress free holiday. Fantastic experience: Dianne Morgan has been our “amazing” travel agent for 10 plus years. She seems to have unlimited knowledge of so many travel destinations. With her vast knowledge, my husband and I have been able to have the most memorable trips. Over the years, Dianne has gone “to bat” for us when various travel situations have thrown us a “curve ball” - the most recent being able to get us home from abroad when Canadians had to return home due to Covid. We cannot say enough about the service we receive from Dianne. We feel so very lucky to have her as our agent - she is a gem!

Fantastic experience: For last 20 years we have used Chris at Transat Travel for all our travel needs. We have taken multiple cruises around the world and many other trips. They range all the way from a week to a month long getaway and up to a 2 month extended vacation. Most recently when Covid caused our trip to be cut short she was able to arrange for us to come home within 24 hours. She looked after our insurance claim and as a result of all her hard work we recovered everything owed to us. We would not think about booking a trip without using Christine Roaquin. Negative experience: This is most likely the worst travel agent ever. After having to track down someone to book a vacation over and over again it was such a hassle. One lady says anyone can help me, another ladies says she will help and then just hands off the information to the one who clearly doesn’t do anything. I have now booked directly with the company I wanted to travel with as it was fast with no hassle. In today’s world of the internet and google a person should just stop using these people as they don’t really get you anything extra or clearly work for you as they are always not doing the job you expect them to do. Booking the trip has been so painful. I just hope now I can enjoy my trip that I have booked myself.

Negative experience: Took a flight to Dominican (6.5 hr flight). Took over and hour and a half to get a drink once we were in the air. Once I finished it I tried to order another one. I was told to wait and that the cart would be out shortly. After an hour of waiting I asked again if I could get another drink. I got told to wait again. It wasn't till 1 hour before landing that the cart finally came around. Worst service ever. Book with westjet. At least they will keep a drink in your hand and not give you an attitude.

Fantastic experience: my wife & I recently travelled to Puerto Vallarta & travelled option plus with Transat Airlines. It was the most amazing flying experience we've ever had. The food was amazing, the flight attendants were so nice and always asking if we need anything. We had a huge variety of movies, TV shows etc to watch. We will definitely will fly with Transat again & again. It was well worth the extra $100.00 each way to be comfortable. Thank you Transat for making our flight so enjoyable.
