Wow beach a bit of coral at the entrance (a few steps), shoes or sandals preferable, entertainment, show (excellent singer musician before each show around 10pm), cleanliness, proximity to the airport, availability of resources, gluten-free accommodation everything was perfect Playa paraíso. Food in sufficient quantity but less varied from one day to another as well as at the restaurant. But grilled fish, chicken, beef, pasta bar, omelette bar, smoothies, wood-fired pizza, beach; homemade salmon croquettes as well as tacos. Vegetables; cabbage, cucumber, sweet potatoes. I recommend!!!! Bring mosquito repellent!!!! And spices!

Positive experience: We had a wonderful week at Viva Azteca. The hotel and site are very beautiful, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The food is excellent and varied at the buffet. The à la carte restaurants are also very good! The staff is great! However, the pool is small. There are many people in the pool, and the animation and music are very loud, which is unpleasant for me at times. The beach is beautiful with plenty of available chairs, but there is little shade. Unfortunately, we couldn't really swim in the sea because it was very rough, with many waves…!! Red flag all week…

Positive experience: My impressions of Le Grand Aston Cayo Parédon Beach. Highlights: the cleanliness of the places and the size of the site is truly impressive. There were cleaning ladies everywhere, especially near the restrooms. My room with a balcony overlooking the entrance of the site was suitable for me because I didn't want to pay for a sea view. Spacious room, well air-conditioned with a very large Italian shower and never ran out of hot water. However, don't plan to use the coffee maker and you have to keep asking for more tips to get water and toilet paper, but I had enough. It must be understood that there is a lack of everything in this country. The sea, the beach, and the sand were just how I like them in Cuba, especially the pizza kiosk on the beach, which we only used twice during our week where we ate enough and hot. Since I was there in low season (late April, early May), there were plenty of umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach, but insufficient around the pools. However, do not believe the person who tells you it’s Cayo Coco because it’s not in any way Cayo Coco. It’s Cayo Parédon. The beach is much smaller and ends quite quickly if you want to walk long. Animation on the beach and at the pools every day is always the same like Groundhog Day, but the staff probably do what they can with what they have. Aside from a few small surprises starting Thursday, let's say. The evening entertainment in the lobby is decent. Weak points: Yes, it’s Cuba, and currently, as there is a lack of everything and especially a lack of oil, food deliveries and the lack of staff suffer greatly. So the buffet is EXTREMELY repetitive, and I really always ate cold, terrible cold coffee. There are only 2 à la carte restaurants. You have to go back to try to satisfy your appetite at the pseudo buffet afterwards. The best bars are the one in the lobby and by the beach. The ones in the pool and near the pools depend on the days. But as I say and repeat, it seems generalized throughout the country. The gym and the family resort area are wow. The staff is moderately friendly, and I was more solicited than ever during my other trips to Cuba, be it on site for currency exchange and tips, and even more unpleasant during one of the 3 excursions offered to us. Yes, there is a lack of everything, but we paid well for our all-inclusive. I'm not stingy though. My favorites were the Beach Party on the last night, because it’s the only time we danced, and the staff was on fire. Also a circus act. My favorite encounter was the incredible guide Alain during the makeshift crocodile excursion. Alain is an incredibly kind person, but I wouldn’t want to swap places with his living conditions. If you go to the Grand Aston Cayo Parédon to relax in a nice clean complex, and you don’t have high expectations and don’t pay too much, go ahead, it’s okay.

As usual, the buffet is quite repetitive, but for a week, it's acceptable. Fortunately, there are the à la carte restaurants, which were really good... take the French and Asian, it's truly delicious. Plenty of space on the beach, that's a big plus.

We didn't run out of toilet paper. Hotel service was okay, wifi service was weak. Airt Transat agent service was fine. 1st excursion: catamaran and snorkeling: good but windy and cold water. Good service overall. 2nd excursion: Jeep safari, snorkeling, and cave diving with more visits to a village and a cenote: Jeep safari was good, snorkeling was good, cave diving was excellent service and a great experience, village visit was fine but very ordinary meal, cenote visit was very good. Overall, except for the temperature, we enjoyed our trip.

Fantastic experience: The Riu Tequila in Riviera Maya was a magnificent place, and the sea was very beautiful. The hotel was very nice and clean, the room was super nice and clean, the entertainment was very good on site, with shows every evening for children and adults. The beach is a bit further away but can still be reached easily on foot, with a nice path to get there and also a shuttle service. I would return without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: We loved it. Very large site. The hotel is clean. Very large room, our bed was very comfortable and clean. The cleaning lady comes every day. For the food, it was number 1. Lots of choices and excellent. The servers are always smiling, very good service and fast. For the à la carte restaurants, we managed to have the Italian one; the only downside is that it was cold. The beach is huge. There is space everywhere, no matter the hour, and the sea is beautiful and always clean. We will return.

Fantastic experience: Hello For our week in Cayo Coco, the first day was not great. We only got our room at 5:30 PM and we arrived at the hotel at 10:40 AM. Additionally, we didn't have hot water for 3 days, and they had to change our room. After that, we had a very nice week. The welcome was really great, the animation was also super, and the rooms were very clean. As for the food, we had a lot of the same thing at each meal, but we know very well that it's Cuba, and to be honest, I expected worse. We never ran out of water or food, and we want to do it again next year with a whole bunch of girls. Thank you to Memories Flamenco Beach Resort and the whole team.

Fantastic experience: Super beautiful trip!!! The staff were really dedicated!! But they speak a lot of Spanish and English. The rooms were very clean except for not much pressure in the shower and not very hot, but I was on the second floor. The beach is really beautiful, just rocky at the edge of the sea, but once past that everything is beautiful and really warm. The food was varied and it was good, and the 24-hour snack had at least 7 menu choices.

Fantastic experience: From November 8 to 15, 2023 at Riu Téquilla in Cancun, Mexico. Everything was perfect! The site is superb, with a lot of vegetation. The food was good and varied. The service was exceptional. The staff is happy to work. The room was clean and the cleaning and mini-bar service was always on point. The beach was beautiful and cleaned. The pools were well maintained. A 5-star rating for the entertainment and shows. I was there with my 16-year-old son and he was always ready to do an activity with the entertainers. A short 12-minute walk on a beautiful path to get to the beach, otherwise, there is transport service directly from the lobby. I recommend it without hesitation!!!!
