Positive experience: Several premises arranged at different levels determine the agency. If they were grouped together, their services would really be more pleasant.

Fantastic experience: We want to take a cruise in South America. A competitor of Traditours, based in Quebec and with an office in Laval, offers a similar itinerary at a lower cost (appearingly). We made an appointment to inquire at the Laval office of this company. The travel agent who assisted us was very cold and seemed very reluctant to provide explanations about the various excursions and to specify their costs. On the other hand, at Traditours, we met Chantal. She answered all our questions and made several interesting suggestions. It's day and night between the two travel representatives from these companies. Therefore, we will travel with Traditours.

Fantastic experience: It was the most beautiful trip of my life, no worries, Traditours takes care of everything, your luggage, your tips 10/10

Negative experience: Why does Traditours not share the tips among the travel expenses at the time of booking? How much do the tips amount to for a trip? I then looked at the FAQ which states that the amount of tips will be communicated in a pre-departure information letter... NOT BEFORE! WHY? Still in the FAQ, Traditours tells us that our $ for tips belongs to us until it is given to each participant and that we can take back an amount in case of poor service. DOES THIS MEAN THAT THE GUIDE WALKS AROUND (AND CONSTANTLY HANDLES) THROUGHOUT THE TOUR WITH POCKETS FULL OF ENVELOPES CONTAINING OUR $$$? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Last question: Does the guide also receive a tip at the end of the trip from each traveler knowing that other participants are also solicited by Traditours throughout the tour and they are paid for their services with the tips from the travelers?

Fantastic experience: I have taken 2 long trips with them and several others with different agencies. Really a step above the rest. I don’t need a guide for all my trips, which is why I travel with other agencies, but it’s not always a success with them.

Positive experience: What I like about the Traditours formula is that everything is included. No need to walk kilometers to find a place to eat. We eat at fixed times every day in a place already reserved for us. We never eat alone. What I don't like are the local guides who give us their blah, blah for very long periods standing in places that are not always ideal, like in full sun! It's always very long, often uninteresting, and we lose a lot of visiting time listening to that. It has frustrated me a lot. I prefer the formula with just one guide who does the blah, blah on the bus, which we can choose to listen to or not, sitting comfortably on the bus, and when it's time for the visit, the description is already done and we have time to really visit and see things. I go on a trip to see and taste, not to hear a report, especially in very uncomfortable circumstances! I developed a severe pain in my hips after just a few days because of all that time standing still listening to guides. It was way too much!

We had a remarkable guide, Milan, who is passionate about history and guided us through the Czech Republic, his country, as well as Slovakia, Hungary, and Austria. The local guides were excellent. I learned a lot about the history of these countries and cities that are around 2000 years old and have experienced so many different political regimes. I really appreciated the flex formula, a mix between fixed schedules and free time. The hotels were very comfortable, the food was very good, and the visits to castles, cathedrals, cities, and the countryside were fascinating. Fantastic experience: Wonderful trip to Slovenia, welcoming people and country. We went in May, but I suggest going in the fall for the temperature and the opening of places. With Traditours, nothing is missed and everything is well organized, even when they have to cancel or move visits due to the weather. Many different tastings, visits to several castles and villages, by boat, cable car, chairlift, and funicular. As much in the mountains as on the Mediterranean coast. Positive experience: very well organized, good guide, nice atmosphere Does not allow travelers to change their return date (plane ticket) because sometimes we are exhausted from traveling and would like to relax and go at our own pace in the country a bit before returning, which makes us hesitant to take a trip with them again. Also, it leaves little room for nature (vegetation, animals of the country) focusing mainly on the historical side, which makes the trip heavier.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional trip to Thailand. We saw everything. And it's true that with Traditours we experience what the country's traditions are. We slept in the jungle, saw temples, tasted very varied Thai food, saw rice fields, all kinds of plantations, navigated in a Tail Boat, kayaked, took Touk Tuks, rode bikes, pushed pushers, lagoons, elephants, caves, stilt villages, and of course stayed in 5* hotels. Thai people are very smiley. No luggage to carry, which is greatly appreciated. An amazing tour guide. Exceptional local guides. Very good driver and his dedicated assistant. Negative experience: I am about to take a trip with them for the first time. I find it ordinary to have to arrange for travel insurance on my own. We are offered no help, the travel advisor immediately refers us to the website. Especially since Voyages Traditours has the reputation of being more expensive than other travel agencies.

Negative experience: Disastrous management of masks by the escort during the trip while passengers were coughing freely on others, some of whom consequently also caught a respiratory illness. Fortunately, the national guide was fantastic. The hotels are generally very noisy with mediocre comfort. We suffered from two days of delay at the beginning of the trip in Toronto due to the accident at Lima airport. Unfortunately, the escort was more focused on repeating to us that Traditours had no responsibility and did not take care of us. So we had to organize ourselves to find a hotel and meals, all without our suitcases.

Fantastic experience: We took a 21-day trip to Italy. The itinerary is fantastic, we go from beautiful discoveries to even more beautiful discoveries. The escort Andrée was extraordinary, Michella, our national guide, was superb, and Dean, our driver, was great too. The three of them united to bring us even more happiness and to see or taste better things. The trip is intense, with a sustained pace of visits, but EXTRAORDINARY, especially with this amazing trio.

Negative experience: I just came back from a trip to Spain... my travel companion was infected with COVID as soon as Traditours (the guide) was informed by her (out of honesty and respect). We were no longer recognized as normal human beings... a total lack of humanity... we were bothersome, we suffered from discrimination and contempt from some people in the group... the guide was one of them... I received the same treatment even though I was not infected. We had to leave the group, it became unbearable... If I had been informed by the travel advisor when purchasing my trip, I would have never bought it... Imagine your savings being used, in 2022, to live through a horror story... AVOID TRAVELING WITH TRADITOURS AS LONG AS THERE IS COVID. Small-mindedness should not be part of the success of this company... All they can tell you is YOU SIGNED... I am so sad, disappointed... it was my fifth trip with them. You forget the condescending email from the guide... I THINK OF YOU, she thinks about how much she ruined my trip... do you think I will invest thousands of dollars thinking about the mistreatment I might receive... you trivialize the deep and psychological problems I have endured... do you believe I will feel safe and travel with peace of mind with you... Madam should have kept those words I THINK OF YOU to herself... enough is enough.

Negative experience: I just returned from a trip to Turkey with Traditours. Very poor management regarding Covid19. We learned that the 4-5 groups preceding us had all contracted Covid during their trip... And yet, no sanitary measures were imposed in my group. The majority of people were not wearing masks in airports, planes, buses, crowded places.... So obviously Covid also entered our group.. This meant a 7-day quarantine in a hotel room since Turkey still imposes quarantine... With very little information and response to our questions. On the other hand, no Covid test was required by Traditours, even if we had symptoms; it was only on a voluntary basis. So if someone in the group has symptoms and does not want to say, it is accepted that they stay in the group and infect the rest of the people. (This happened in our group; some had very visible symptoms but the guide let them continue even though she knew). In short, avoid group travel as long as there are regulations when you test positive for Covid. No precautionary sanitary measures are required by Traditours, so it is 100% certain that Covid enters the group. Very disappointed because I had loved my trip to Peru with Traditours before the pandemic.

Negative experience: Customer service is the first thing I look at and this one is awful, having spoken to a blonde employee with glasses and very short man-style hair, the way she spoke made it seem like she was tired of her job or just wanted to get rid of us. Luckily, there are always alternatives, thanks to the competition.

Negative experience: Voyage to Sicily Malta from August 26 to September 13, 2022. I caught COVID on September 1. I had to leave the group for another hotel. Unfortunately, the information provided about health measures was contradictory, and I was never able to rejoin the group until departure, despite showing no symptoms after 5 days of isolation. 13 days alone, the help received only consisted of finding remote hotels (good luck finding food) or means of transportation to try to rejoin the group. Not always safe either, with several difficulties. Very poor management when something goes wrong, failed improvisation. Beware: find out what will happen to you if you catch COVID. You might have unpleasant surprises. And Traditours refuses additional compensation.
