Fantastic experience: I booked a vacation to Jamaica with Dani Pich at Sell Off Vacations in West Edmonton. She was very knowledgeable about the resort and Jamaica itself. I also appreciated that she informed me and sent me the links to Jamaica's online immigration forms, as many people at the airport didn't know they had to fill that out beforehand - so I appreciated her telling us to do that ahead of time. Negative experience: We booked a flight online for a funeral. We have been told someone didn't email someone. The flight IS still available at twice the price! No one will help us. We have been told it's a customer service issue,and then told there is no one to speak to in customer service, even during est hours. We are disgusted,frustrated, and appalled that they literally have ZERO customer service. WE WILL NEVER GO NEAR THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

Negative experience: Be careful when booking, I will not be back Booked a flight that seemed like a great deal after doing research. Suddenly, because it is west jet flight we are paying and extra 500 just to go to Cuba with seats and baggage since they are not included in those packages. The lady I called the first day to ask about cancellation said it's not possible and after not recieveing all of our info we read we could have that same day with our insurance. We also talked to Rep a couple of time s to be briefed as I didn't want any surprises and no one mentioned this. They mentioned baggage only! We could have went to a more luxurious resort had we known we would be spending these extra costs Other holiday sites include these feature by the way. This was our first time with sellofvacations and regretting it.

Fantastic experience: I am beyond impressed with Dani! In our first call, she asked my husband and me exactly what we wanted out of this trip. We told her it was our honeymoon that we are booking. She gave us the best options and resorts that fit our criteria and budget. We didn't book right away, but Dani made an appointment with us the following day to finalize or change things. There was no pressure from her on our end. With a lot of my indecisiveness and Dani's patience, we booked Hilton Playa De Carmen in Mexico. Dani said this is great for our honeymoon. Once we booked our honeymoon Dani sent us ideas for excursions. She knew exactly what I was looking for. She gave us her best advice that suits our budget and how to book on our own! Her insight on each resort, and place to vacation and providing comparisons was easy for us to imagine what we should be expecting! Not done bragging about Dani, this is how impressed I am. A few hours later after dancing and being excited about our honeymoon, my husband thought about Zika. I emailed Dani right away asking if we should be concerned. Instead of emailing back, she took the time and called me right away. The patience and the effort she showed me, assured me that we took the right steps to book our honeymoon stress-free! Positive experience: At the airport confirmation in hand Agent never booked the tickets, space has been booked on the plane but no tickets were booked. No after hours # to call and at the airport with a very upset child packed and ready to go. ****UPDATE****I was led to believe the agent made an error in my booking when in fact it was air Canada’s system upgrade that was at fault for our missing ticket #’s The selloff agent has been very helpful with helping me deal with the situation even staying on the line while I talked with them and also separately dealing with them in my behalf. I gave 4/5 for one reason, an after hours or emergency contact or an agent at the airport could have saved us a lot of grief. If I see an after hours contact in the future I will update my review to 5* although the agent who helped me all day gets a 10!

I called SellOffVacation and I was very fortunate to get Heather Hall from Edmonton office on the phone. She is an amazing agent I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed! Having to book for 9 people(from 9 to 70yrs old) is very hard to accommodate everyone requests (nice beach, nice and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, good food, good entertainment...etc). Heather is very patience and knowledgeable, she guided and advised me as of which resort fits us better taking also in consideration the price. Fantastic experience: We did a lot of research into different Travel Agencies for our destination wedding before deciding to go with Sell off Vacations Edmonton - and I am so glad we made the decision we did! Our travel agent Deanna was so helpful (always quick to respond to emails and easy to get ahold of by phone) and was a wealth of information about different resorts when we were in the decision making process of trying to decide which country/resort to book for our wedding. We also found the prices to be significantly better through Sell Off Vacations than anywhere else we had looked (Our quotes from Sell Off were about $200-$500 per person lower than other travel agencies were quoting us... this was a huge for us! We were able to book the 5 star resort wedding we had dreamed of, but also kept it affordable for our guests). After we decided on a resort and sent out our invites, all of our friends and family who booked through Deanna were all commenting on how impressed they were with how quickly she responded to emails and questions and how easy the booking process was! Planning a wedding is typically a stressful time, but working with Deanna has made it anything but that. I would highly recommend her for destination weddings, or any travel needs at all!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I recently booked a trip to Cuba. We've previously purchased trips from selloff vacation, always going to the location in Mayfield Common in Edmonton. Most recently we worked with Charmaine at the Mayfield store. Charmaine was incredibly helpful and was able to provide first hand knowledge about the resorts we were going to stay at. Charmaine did not try to sell any more than what I wanted but was able to help me see the benefits of some of SunWings policies, especially the cancellation insurance. Charmaine also went above and beyond to help my husband and I maximize our travel points (silly I know) and took the extra time to make our experience matter. I personally asked Charmaine how I could recognize her because the service was that great. The prices were the same as online and you get the human experience- highly recommended!

I would & do recommend to everyone I speak with, to call ( MY) TRAVEL LADY to book anything. NOW to the SOV President / Vice Pres.------IF you ever let her go from SOV, I regret to say, I will no doubt have to find another office. BUT, never know, I might stay with SOV. Fantastic experience: Heather Walker has been nothing but a miracle worker for myself and my wife Mary when it comes to vacations! We have booked numerous vacations with her to Mexico and Varadero and have never been disappointed, even when we booked a large family vacation which included siblings, friends, children and grandchildren. She was able to negotiate a group rate as well as get us rooms close together so we were able to enjoy our families company during the holiday, as well as the extra week of privacy we enjoyed after all the kids returned home! Our latest holiday to Varadero was a last minute trip which heather found for us at areduced rate as we could not afford the posted prices we saw on the interweb, so she kept her eyes peeled for a deal and called us when she found one. Not only was she able to get us into a fabulous resort, where we were adopted by some of the local staff and made family,she was able to book us great seats on the plane where we were not squished into the teeny little chairs for the trip there and back. She is astounding, amazing, wonderful and impressive and now my siblings also use her to book their trips as well. So not only do I have a Cuban family, I now have a travel agent family member as well. Thanks Heather, welcome to the family!

Fantastic experience: We just booked our 3rd all inclusive vacation with Deanna at the Mayfield Common location. We have always found her to be very helpful and any questions we had prior to or after our booking has always been answered. In fact we are looking at booking our European vacation in September and have received a couple e-mails from her with recommendations and suggestions. Every time, I e-mail Deanna, she is quick to respond and always, in a friendly manner. We feel that she has our best interest in mind.

Positive experience: I've booked 2 vacations through them. Both times the resorts were exactly what I wanted and at a good price. Deanna is very helpful finding the right place at the right price.

Negative experience: I was there today and it was horrible. If I could rate this zero, I would have. We walked in and 3 girls just looked at my husband and I. No one was in the office but the 3 employees, and not one of them even said hello; so my husband looks at them all and asks "who wants to help us." One girl said she couldn't because she was on hold and had been for a long time and wasn't going to give up (apparently she'd been on hold for 2 hours already (2 hours, really? Why would you do that?) The other two just looked like deer caught in headlights and so because one was eating at her desk and the other said it was up to us we went to Charmaine who wasn't the one eating. I found no value going there and speaking to them. Nothing was offered or told that I didn't know already from the Internet. While we asked some questions another customer walked in. Not one of them said a word to her. This customer took a chair and waited. The two other girls were still there without customers but didn't even aknowledge her. After a few minutes, the waiting customer asked if she was going to be helped. The one on hold said she couldn't cause she'd been on hold for 2 hours and wasn't going to hang up to start all over again, but she did offer to try but if she had someone come on the line then that was too bad. The customer said there are 3 of you here and only one is working - they actually got mad at the customer and told her - yes we are - The customer left (smart lady) and the girls persisted to talk about how rude the customer was.... I almost fell off chair. Even saying that she was rude and only had been waiting 5 mins - 5 mins without being acknowledged in a service industry is very,very, very, long. Stay far far away from here.

Negative experience: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I called today to see if they were still offering me the same discount they offered a couple days ago for a hotel reservation and the person in charge today after doing some "Checks" on her side gave me some prices that didn't make any sense to me. When I asked why is the big difference between your price and the website's price she said in a very rude manner "This is what I got here, why you didn't book online?" and then hang off.
