Negative experience: After a friend recommended using a travel agent, I decided to give Gala Travels a try, encouraged by their many positive reviews. I reached out to Jaini to plan a trip for four people, expecting a smooth and professional experience. Unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. I constantly had to follow up just to receive basic trip documents, and as our departure date approached, Jaini started ignoring my calls, texts, and emails entirely. When issues arose with our trip, I had no choice but to contact the hotel directly, which completely undermined the purpose of having an agent to facilitate our travel. While there may be other agents at Gala who provide excellent service, my experience with Jaini was disappointing, to say the least.

Fantastic experience: We had an initial booking that had last name spelling error on their end resulting in a ticket cancellation with a local booking office. We booked with another airline next day with the help of Karamath Ali Khan from India office. He held the ticket while we were checking flight deals and timing, and he called us back to follow up next day. We explained him re experience with first booking and he took care of the booking making sure that all information is correct, and offered us few options. Based on first booking and cancellation experience, I would have given lower star rating, but Karamath Ali Khan was very professional and helpful in booking a better flight. So 5 star !! Negative experience: Hello all, I had an absolute terrible experience with Gala travel and would strongly suggest that do not use their service. there is lady Pam kapila she was t my travel agent i booked . I suppose to get air ticket refund from over a year and half ago, but still they didn't give my money back.while she asked me to sent more money via e transfer for refund processing fee . they don't responses now have kept me waiting for an unacceptable amount of time, causing me stress and financial burden. they will cheat with you they are scammer operation. do not book with them.

Fantastic experience: Had booked my flight with Turkish airlines and they cancelled my flight on one lag of my journey because of operational changes. But when I tried to change that lag I was running into some issues. I spent an 1 hr on the phone with Turkish airline with no resolution. Turkish customer service was horrible. The Travel Consultant Fatima Zehra was very knowledgeable, extremely professional and gave me an excellent deal. The whole booking experience from fare quotation to booking, payment and follow up was seamless. The booking was handled very efficiently with thorough explanation about the terms and conditions and booking of extras. Certainly recommend them to anyone seeking good rates for air tickets and booking done efficiently and professionally.

Fantastic experience: I had used Gala Travels, perhaps about 10 years ago to buy a ticket when I was coming back from Dubai. Today, I checked many places for a couple of tickets to Frankfurt and discovered that Gala was offering the best deal. I went ahead and booked online. The agent gave me same info what I saw on website, infact offered discount after when I pointed out that ur website gives discount. Anyways, after reading people's reviews I noticed that people are admiring the customer service of Afshan Qureshi. Thanks to gala directory. I got Afshan's extension from there. And realized that no doubt why she had such good reviews. She was friendly, professional, and helpful. Although, I did my homework finding best and reasonable Price for flight. But still asked her if she could find me flight on different day with similar price. Honestly, she patiently went through all the flight options(unlike other agent who was in rush to hang up the phone) I was explained about the service charges/penalties on changing ticket dates/cancellation. The experience of buying tickets was quite smooth. And I will update my post after returning back. Recommendation: If you calling gala for any service, search in directory for Afshan Qureshi(2nd name in directory list )

Negative experience: They never return your calls. Their prices are also very expensive compare to other online travel websites. Gala travel is not recommended source for online travel services

Fantastic experience: I've been traveling for the last 6 weeks (not planned) and was held up due to various issues but I've never been more appreciative of a travel agent. They solved all my issues, replied at all hours of the day, and provided me with the support I absolutely needed to get through this. I have previously been the type of person who would try to book my own flights online but I will never do that ever again - the support you get from the team at Gala is 2nd to none. And in this crazy time of COVID, you have no idea how much you might need this type of support while you are abroad. And it wasn't more expensive - I compared flights they were finding with what I could find online on my own and they always provided a better rate! Use Gala Travels for all your travel needs - you WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!

Positive experience: Fast replies either by email or phone. The multicity trip feature on their website is down most of the time. Always check the main Airline price before you book with any agent specifically if you think you may do some changes or cancelation to your trip!

Positive experience: Ms. Sumayya really helped resolve a ton of issues with flight cancellations etc during covid, I definitely wouldn't trust purchasing a ticket from the airlines directly at this time. Gala's pricing is at par with the airlines and with customer service like theirs it makes it a no-brainer to still rely on travel agents.

Positive experience: Great staff and listen to you to help build the itinerary. Their website is great in finding best flights. They also match the prices on their website when you call them to reserve the flights. The only thing I don't like is their non-refundable policy even though the airlines may have refund policies.

Negative experience: Dear Sir/Madam I had booked a flight through Air Canada from Toronto to Srinagar. The agent was Azmin.then the trip was canceled by air canada because of the ban on 16th of May. I was told and messaged that I will get refund in few weeks. I have contacted the agent several times and I am not getting any proper answer. She told me before 3 weeks to check the account every day. I was checking everyday like a fool person. And she did not replied to my last mail now which I send before 2 weeks. It has been now 8 weeks I did not got my money. I contacted Air Canada and they told me to check.with the agency through which I bought the tickets. I am paying interest on the amount from last 3 months. And I have seen the travels who already got the money back because of the cancelation of flights by Air Canada. I don't know why I am.still stuck. And Air Canada has promised to pay back.the whole amount. Please let me aware of my money before I will proceed to take further action in the consumer protection forum. Negative experience: I bought two way ticket and I used its one way to Tehran then my return ticket to Toronto was cancelled due to Covid. After I changed my ticket for 3 times I asked them to cancel it and give me my refund. They convinced me to wait and told me we will contact you, after two months I called them to follow up then they told me now it’s too late and I could not use this ticket and I lost my money just because I trusted them!!! They are not professional and well-informed!!! It was really disappointed!!!

Honestly, they tried their best to get me best deal. In addition, their website is very unique and they clearly show ticket price for air ticket plus you can check air points offered for that flight. Negative experience: Out family have been booking tickets with Gala travels from long time. Unfortunately, this time had a worse experience. Not getting accurate communication regarding my refund. I had a flight on 14/May which was canceled by a airline. Now due to financial hardship I might mot luxury to travel again anytime soon. Gala has been telling me that I have to book a another flight before August. I need cash now, I can better use now. Additionally, it was not my fault why I pay penalties on refund. Fantastic experience: Hello everyone. My name is Casim Bahadar. We have conducted travelling through Ajaz Khan, a travel agent for the last 5+ years when we were looking to go to visit Pakistan. Every time we were looking for business seats, he would procure and give us an excellent rate and service on the tickets and is always very personable. We love talking and getting our tickets through him whenever we need to go and we highly recommend our family and friends to use him if they ever need to go to Pakistan. As you know there was travel restrictions and troubles due to Covid-19 these last couple months and my dad and I were a couple of the people caught stuck in Pakistan. We were required to purchase another set of tickets for the special flight to Canada that we had to take. Negative experience: I booked a flight for my wife on the Gala Travels website. On the payment page there is a field to input the purchaser's phone number below your credit card details. I did enter my Canadian number, expecting to be called if there were any issues. Gala Travels did not try to contact me on this number at all. They sent one email to my wife in Thailand, who was asleep, and then worked a double shift as a nurse. By the time she finished they cancelled the flight and now the price has gone up $800. I called Gala and the woman was brisk and unhelpful. Her solution was to book another flight on another day. I have no other choice but to rebook, but it wont be with your company!

Negative experience: I have been always booking my flights to India via Galatravels, and the customer service has always been good until today. The person on the call to whom I talked was a guy. He was so rude when I asked about options I saw online on your website. He told me rudely that those tickets aren't available without even searching for it. He only searched for tickets based on the first criteria I asked him. He sounded like he had some other work to attend to, so wanted to get rid of my call. And when I asked him that I saw the tickets online he said rudely it's not available and he cut the call while I was talking to him.

It was a great experience right from the get go. She gave me 5 options for the Dominican based on my criteria. We were booking for 11 people from 3 different airports in Canada. So not your usual and easy booking. Fatema was very proactive, responsive and truly great to work with. She never rushed to just finish her day. She made sure all the proper process was taken so there was no issues for the booking. In the end we are all booked for a trip in May and we cannot wait. Thank you for your attention to detail Fatema. Once again I will do a review of how the trip went when I get back from it in May.

Fantastic experience: I just booked two tickets for my friend and his wife to come from India to visit us. The tickets were to be issued in my friend's name and the payment was being made by me. Apparently this causes some difficulty in processing payment. Pam at Gala Travel was most helpful and resolved the situation quickly. She was very polite, helpful and understanding.
