Fantastic experience: Went to this location for IDP International Driving Permit. The process is extremely smooth and timely, the staff wasted no time on form, photo and voila, the IDP is provided. Photo is taken right beside the counter. I am not a member, otherwise the cost will be significantly lower. Note - CAA is the only organization can issue IDP in Canada, do not go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Had questions on travel, auto and house insurance. Had them all resolved within 15 minutes. Knowledgeable personnel who seemed to care about us.

Negative experience: useless place and caa have just a few stores, you have to drive a lot, for the money they charge for membership we deserve better, the only problem is they don't have competition, forget calling nobody answers the phone

Negative experience: CAA referred me to Freeway Auto services & a Shady guy from Brampton came to help me with the boost and charged me $96 for hardly 1min service and left right away, asking me to keep the car running for 10-15mins. The car dint restart even after leaving for 15mins, I call the guy back and now he says he will charge me another $96 to come down and give another boost. Extremely money oriented & disappointing service.

Fantastic experience: This is a beautiful one stop store where you can get a passport photo, buy travel insurance and also book vacations.

Fantastic experience: I met Hanna in CAA Oakville location when I came to find out my car and home insurance options. It was 2 years ago. Since that time, I have recommended CAA service to everyone who was interested in it. After two years, my family is still happy with CAA and the services we are getting here.

Positive experience: I went to get my passport photo taken. The staff said both my ears need to be visible. I was told by someone that works at the border that either both ears need to be visible or hidden

Negative experience: Very disappointing ...I've been a member for about 4 or 5 years and I have about six or seven people with my kids and their wives on this plan, and I just wanted to call to put in an address change and of course now my husband has to be a part of it when he doesn't pay the bill every year and I could give them all the information about when it's paid how it's paid and they still insisted so to send the new bill it's going to go to my old address so I guess I'm just going to cancel and they'll just lose five or $600 from us oh well thanks CAA for all your help

Fantastic experience: I have to say there was a woman working there not behind the counter who was in her office that came out to help people waiting in line. It was nice to see and you rarely see that any more. It was noticed.

Fantastic experience: Wasn't busy, with plenty of staff available to help. Got my International Driver's Permit in minutes and for a great price. Previously got a flight package booked there as well. Travel accessories and luggage available. Plenty of free parking; the area itself can be a bit busy though.

Fantastic experience: We were here on Friday morning for passport photos for the whole family. My husband and I and our children. The wonderful lady seated to the left back of the store near the passport photo section went above and beyond to accommodate our child with Autism. She bought over a jar of candy to offer it to him. He was crying and didn't understand instructions well due to feeling over-whelmed. The associate with the camera was super patient and not once rushed us. I'd like to thank those beautiful ladies for their kind demeanor and compassion.

Fantastic experience: Went to the Oakville C.A.A. branch to pickup one if those "SLOW DOWN" lawn signs. It was pretty busy at the time of my going into the C.A.A. store. Only had to wait in line for about 10 minutes. But the staff was freindly and working as quickly as they could to serve all the customers.

Positive experience: This branch serves its purpose- but just. I had an appointment for to bring my home insurance under the same company as auto insurance. The insurance advisor was very pleasant and easy to deal with. However, she is only assigned a cubicle; open to all and sundry in the store. As more clients entered the shop, it became EXTREMELY difficult to hear and be heard! Add to that, she was behind a large desk, which was, in turn, behind a very high plexiglass screen. The screen and ±4ft. of distance made for a very uncomfortable business transaction. The necessary repetitions made the appointment las longer than necessary. Then, when it was time for a final quote the CAA agent was NOT able to provide one, as she had to contact an underwriter, who was working from home and reluctant to do anything work related that day! The underwriter doesn't seem to think theu should have to work at 11a.m. on a Friday. After the hour spent in tue CAA branch, I did NOT receive a.quote I was supposed to receive one by "close.of business" that day. It seems the underwriter doesn't work from anywhere, much less "from home", as I won't get an official quote for another week!! I do MOT recommend CAA Insurance, unless you are willing to accept a VERY long wait for a basic amd simple insurance quote!!‍♂️

Negative experience: The hours are extremely inconvenient; they are only open till 5:00 PM Monday to Friday, with no Saturday/weekend hours; I'd be really surprised if they get many visits during those hours; as most people are working and its very difficult to leave work and go visit store for anything. On top of that CAA have very few stores in GTA, which makes it more difficult to even find a store - let alone with flexible/convenient hours. The least they can do is to open a bit late, if they cannot offer weekend hours. So, instead of 9:00 to 5:00 even if it was 10:00 to 6:00, it'd make sense.

Positive experience: My tire was split down the middle don't know how that happened luckily my neighbor came to my rescue I did call CAA but was told that they couldn't come out till the day after I wondered what if I was stranded on the road years ago they did do emergency calls it's a good tool to have but make sure you are not a dismal place because you may have to sleep in your car to wait 1 day to be rescued Not so impressed

Negative experience: my electric bike started stalling on me and my mother called CAA as she's a member was told it would take 3 hours to get a tow, which is crazy.. fortunately a lady called us back and told us he'd be there within 2 hours which is better but still terrible. got to the location where i left my bake and when we recalled to inquire about where our tow was we were told to wait another 30 minutes as there wasn't one around. we were both very frustrated as they could give us any proper times at all.. i waited at location for 30 minutes.. then 40.. then a hour later, still no one i had to WALK my bike home at night, didn't live far onlu like 4km but with this very heavy electric bike it took much longer and was very straining for a small girl after finally getting home, i got a call saying the CAA agent was in the lot after 2 hours of when he should of been there terrible company

Advised on all available options and worked out a great package that suits my travel needs perfectly. I hope her boss sees this and rewards her with a good raise, he/she can't afford to loose her.

Negative experience: Terrible experience here today dealing with Linda. Came to get passports photos made. I have come before and was not charged as i have a CAA membership. This lady however was not knowledgeable at all, did not inform me that I would have to pay. Upon discussing this with her, she became very rude and hostile. Not the experience i was expecting here. There are plenty other CAA locations that will service you and value your time there.
