Adam Travel Canada - Hajj and Umrah Service Provider

Negative experience: I don’t recommend using Adam travel for umrah or hajj as it is very disorganized -Important note for solo female travellers that a quad room arrangement may mean that a Man may be present in your room sometimes whether it may be you’re awake or sleeping -The agency accepts seniors with a walking disability to join the trip without their family members or a mahram. So then the roommates have to take the burden of taking care of the senior that share the room with them in the trip -Adam travel & Mufti said that a family member was there to assist the senior but their presence was merely “bread-crumbs”. The family presence was not a registered member with Adam travel and he was mainly there to say hello to the elder for less than an hr a day. He did not assist the senior at all in the trip. He invited himself to the room whenever he pleased to with a room full of women. Sometimes, I would find him sitting on my bed or attempting to use my bed as a dinner table. I was very uncomfortable -The room arrangements practise were inappropriate and unIslamic from the Mufti and Adam Travel, they do not care about following the basic principles of the religion, when complaints were made they did not care -The quad rooms are very small, so if two people have wheelchairs then the room size cannot handle two wheelchairs due to lack of space in the hotel room -They use a coach bus from Madina to Makkah. The agency doesn’t use the high speed train or private taxi. A waste of precious time of a 8 hrs drive not being able to do umrah peacefully in the evening, literally made people pull an all nighter to do umrah (even seniors and children got very tired the next day) the coach ride from Madina to Makkah delayed umrah to 3 am instead of 9 pm, should have gone to Makkah by train or private taxi -In Makkah tour we only saw 2 mosques the rest were driving us around, waste of our day, not a legitimate tour -In addition to having a Mufti, Adam Travel should have hired a tour guide to guide, if there was an Adam travel tour guide they would have been able to take care of the logistics, the luggages, tour guide, room arrangements, and assist vulnerable ability challenged travellers and solo seniors -The Mufti role should only be in charge for religion guidance how to preform umrah, a Mufti shouldn’t be in charge of the hotel logistics -Travellers are left to fend for themselves, the Mufti is not able to help with the logistics of the trip -The Mufti and Adam Travel Agents like to practise blame shifting each other when there are problems, there are 0 accountabilities for issues

Fantastic experience: Excellent customer service, one window operation and they addressed all my concerns in a timely manner. This was my first time travelling to Saudi Arabia and he catered all my needs, i guess you will understand what i am referring too. I am 200% satisfied with his services and already have referred him to quite a few. The manager himself Mr. Rana Asif took the lead, he is a great person and man of his words. We got visas for my wife who was in Pakistan and myself living in Canada which arrived in no time. I am still in touch with him, he is being a great help and has been very kind to us. The fee structure he carries is quite transparent nobody should have an issue on that matter and i will reiterate that his services are excellent. I sent him all my documents online and he prepared my file before i arrived at his office i just verified the information and there we go. This is how simple he makes it for you. Negative experience: It was a painful experience from start to finish to say the least. Till the day of the journey, everyday you will remain scared what new issue is coming on towards you! Again! Most importantly, Mr. Asif has a serious lacking in understanding of what you say, he misinterprets most of the times.. Probably it is due to his inability to understand English properly. This service needs patient hearing of customer’s concerns, but he doesn’t like anyone asking any questions or queries. Becomes agitated for nothing due to his short temperament. Can’t even take a simple constructive criticism! Even after sending payment receipts to you, he wants proof of payments every 2 weeks. Has a serious lacking in managing his books in a proper way, I guess. Lack of professionalism Is evident in every aspect. He has to realize he’s not running a Hajj agency in a third world country where there is no accountability or he can get away with anything. If you are running an agency in Canada, you need to be more careful as a simple complaint to the proper authority can cost your livelihood. It’s just a humble advice for him as a well wisher.

Fantastic experience: I used Asif’s services for Umrah. Very responsive before and during the trip. The quality of hotels booked were amazing (a hotel in Zamzam tower in Mecca and a hotel right opposite gate 1 in Madinah). I recommend using Adam travels for Umrah and other travel services.

Fantastic experience: Alhumdulilah visited the beautiful holy cities with them. Had an amazing experience. Brother Asif gave so many favours throughout the trip and Brother Shuja was so calm and helpful during the whole trip. Fantastic experience: I went to Umrah with my family during Winter 2022, We had a great time. The Agency provided us with great knowledgeable imams who guided us on tours through several historical Islamic locations. As well as the process of Umrah. They provided for our transportation and everything was done in a timely fashion. I was also pleased to see Asif there during our trip while we were there. I definitely would go again.

Negative experience: The most unprofessional and unorganized organization I’ve ever come across. The way the owner Asif Rana has spoken to me and my family, back bited, humiliated and disrespected us before and during the trip is unbelievable. We went as a family of 16 from Toronto, and during the initial seminar he smart mouthed and yelled at my uncle and refused to answer so many questions. During the trip, close to midnight he messaged the bus departure time from Medina to Makkah changed from 12:30pm to 10am due to rain while everyone was already asleep. When I messaged that it was wrong of him to tell us so last minute, because I have seniors in my family, he kicked me out of the group chat and said I make unnecessary comments. He’s kicked multiple people out of the chat for asking valid questions about the trip. Just very poor etiquette and doesn’t know how to communicate. Made the trip a lot harder than it needed to be. We dealt with everything at the airport ourselves, we even had to call the bus manager to get our bus to the airport. This agency hackles you for money. May allah forgive us all

The Hotels, transportations, Day tours and meals during our trip were all planned out meticulously. The facilitating Imam chosen to guide the tours and our experience was very knowledgeable and was eager to answer any questions we may have had. Fantastic experience: I contacted Adam Travel Canada for visit visas to the UAE. The Country Manager Mr. Ch. Asif Rana provided impeccable service (even during late night and early morning hours). Everything was done through email, I did not have to visit their office. I received the visas within a day. Very impressed with their fast and professional service .

Negative experience: They are not reliable. They don’t follow their commitments. We visited their office for Umrah December-2022. They discuss and agreed with price package as they advertised $3,200.00 per person. Before visited their office we got the same price from their office over the phone. We made a deposit for five persons as they requested. They acknowledged our payment and asked us for the copies of passports, which we sent them. After two weeks they called and told us that they cannot manage at agreed price and we have to pay more. Although everything was decided but they changed their mind. May be they got some more customers at a higher price. Please don’t trust them.

Fantastic experience: I have been using the service of Adam Travel for All my travel needs going to Pakistan or Middleast I have found Mr and Mrs Asif Rana very knowledgeable, humble and helpful in all the aspects of booking Air tickets and hotels. Never had any issue and if anything comes up they are always there to take care of it. Good work Adam Travel and keep it up. Negative experience: We made a deposit of $5000 for an Umrah trip that’s going on Dec 7 2022- Jan 7 2022. He gave us an invoice of the confirmed transaction. However , two weeks later brother Asif called us and stated the prices had change and now we would have to pay 1500 dollars more . It’s super unprofessional and when I asked him why did he put the price 3200 - he said it can change whenever it’s not “set in stone “. He is super nice initially when you’re making the deal , however his attitude completely changes when you have paid him. Everyone please be careful when dealing with him. If someone requires proof of our interaction feel free to email me. I will also be complaint to Adam Travel Head office and Better Business Bureau.

Fantastic experience: My son went on a Youth Umrah trip organized by Adam Travel. It was a well organized trip from nice hotel, good food and ziarah etc ... Only thing my son did not like was road trip from Medina to Makkah that took 8 hrs because the Asr and Maghrib was not performed together. Will definitely consider Adam travel in the future. Fantastic experience: Went on an umrah trip with Adam Travels in 2022. Our agent Asif was incredibly helpful and honest. Things are bound to go south when travelling but Asif never hesitated to go out of his way to accommodate us, even if he had to pay from his own pocket at times. 100% would recommend to anyone going for Hajj or umrah.

Negative experience: I enquired about Umrah package estimate. Initially , lady gave us the quote over the phone but increased next day , then transferred to Mr. Asif , prices were elevated further for same package . Our observation, unreliable price estimation prior to book which they keep changing on your subsequent call. Confused customer service. Not confident about hotel names and will say, any hotel next to haram but will not confirm the name of the hotel. Further , I got much cheaper and well organized Umrah package from another travel agent for the same as Adam travel was offering.

Fantastic experience: My family and I were supposed to go to Hajj 2022 with Adam Travel. Brother Asif was very helpful and informative throughout the whole process. He was very transparent and provided great service the whole time. Once the Saudi government decided to open the online portal at the last minute for North Americans, and agents weren’t able to book for Hajj, brother Asif returned our deposit seamlessly with no hassle. I will definitely be using Adam Travel for Umrah and other ticket bookings.

Him, Naheed and the Adam travel team set up an excellent package and provided a wonderful Umrah experience during Ramadan. Negative experience: I hurt my leg, went to seek treatment in different big hospitals every hospital I went refused to provide service, even though I bought Medical emergency insurance, but no hospitals were accepting me, because I had a tourist visa not Umrah Visa. They try to help you, but unfortunately don’t know how to help, because of unprofessionalism. Never expect them to share the plan for ziarat or trip from Madinah to Makkah. We were told they will provide lunch boxes every one in the bus was starving and thirsty, finally the bus stopped at Maghreb prayer for drinks and food. They need to inform all their clients in advance about the trip, time, duration, stops and supplies they need and what support they receive from adam travel. Bought me worst ticket with multiple stops both ways and very expensive too.

Fantastic experience: My family of 11 used Adam Travel for their services to complete an umrah. This is a genuine review as I have been coordinating with Asif and Naheed throughout our trip. I have never seen any other agency so committed to their clients! I don’t know if they sleep! They secured us the best hotels and travel and accommodations for our children. They ensured cost was fair and affordable for our family, and they guided us on the best steps to take to facilitate an easy travel with 5 children. They were ALWAYS available throughout all hours of the night to answer questions, and connect us to staff in Saudi Arabia. They always followed up to see how we were doing and how our kids are doing. This is not your typical travel agency, they treat you as family. I highly recommend families, couples or anyone intending to do umrah or hajj to approach them. Fantastic experience: This was my first experience with Adam travel. Me, the Mrs and the mother-in-law used them to go to Umra in Jan 2022 as part of a large group. This group was organized by Sister Kashifa who was also leading the ladies in the group. Sheikh Mohammad Suliman was leading the men. Both of them led the group in emotional and heart touching Duas at different places during the trip. The travel to the Umra started with the heavy snow storm which resulted in a 5 hour delay in our flight. During this time, Asif bhai made sure that he is up to date on the flight situation and was consistently in contact with the group. We were received by Asif Bhai at Jeddah airport and by the time we reached Madina he was already there in the hotel lobby (Anwar-ul-Madina), with everything we needed prepared ahead of time. He also arranged the sales person of the mobile carrier to come to the hotel so we can buy sim cards for our phones. The location of the hotel was steps away from the Masjid Nabwi. This was a 5 star hotel with a large selection of breakfast options that were included in the stay. The group was taken for the Ziariat and also visited a date farm. The farm had a wide variety of dates to be purchased. The stay at Makkah was also at a 5 star hotel (Swissotel Makkah) steps away from the Haram. A grand breakfast buffet was included. We were able to do all the Manasik of the Umra with relative ease. Adam travel even arranged for the PCR test to be conducted at the hotel so we don’t have to go out to the clinic to get tested. They also arranged for wheelchair airport services at the Jeddah/Amsterdam and Toronto airport for my mother-in-law. I have to say that the services provided by Adam Travels was outstanding. Asif bhai, Sister Naheed and their team went out of the way and did more then what was expected of them to make sure we got the best experience during our trip. I would definitely Insha’Allah use their services again and would recommend them to my family and friends. Fantastic experience: I have been to Saudi Arabia before but this was my first time with Adam Travel and I must say this trip was so much better alhumdhulila. The experience was amazing they helped us get organized with what was required, especially with all these new covid rules they helped make it seamless. Once we got there the convenience part is what made this trip, amazing hotels, covid test in our building, phone plans companies brought right to us. The transportation was great, door to door service. We went to tour and museums and they even accommodated the youth with a English translator. The team went above and beyond, I highly recommend and I will definitely we using them again.

The general arrangement was excellent. Pick up and drop off on time. Hotels were nice and clean. My mother is elderly and all the arrangement that were made to accommodate for her were prefect. Inshallah as COVID restrictions ease further, we will make another trip in 23 and will be going through Adam travel only. Thank you Brother Asif!

Negative experience: I am warning all Adam Travel Clients who have been dealing with them, they are taking off Visa fees for no reason, they are claiming they have submit visa but when you will ask them to provide the visa fees then they just simply disappear and don't answer, they will never provide you visa copy and expectation is that they blocking this money for their own interest. Please claim your refunds with visa fees. and make sure they are not escaping and swallow your money. They lie from the day one about the payment. Poor value. Totally unprofessional. They don't respond on emails. I claim refund in whats-app chat and now instead of reply they have remove me from the group. On individual chat that respond like this. They truly don't care.

Fantastic experience: I had the good fortune of going for Umrah in February 2020 with a group of 38 people through Adam Travels. It was my very first time to go for Umrah and it was an experience of a lifetime. The joy of going to the House of Allah SWT and His Prophet was breathtakingly beautiful and unforgettable. This was made possible by the the very reasonable package given by Adam Travels with all five star facilities, whether it was hotel, transport or other things like ziyarat. We stayed at Millennium Al Aqeeq which was steps from the Prophets SAWS Masjid and Safwah Tower , which opened into the Haram Sharif. Fantastic experience: Me and my son along with group of 29 persons travelled from 26 December 2019 to 6 January 2020. Group was arranged by Adam Travels Canada and lead by Dr Muhammad Suliman. We went to visit first pyramid and then Friday prayer at AlAzhar Islamic university mosque in Egypt. They provided breakfast and lunch and also given gifts. It was 5* Five Star services. Then we reached Madina and stayed 4 nights in Moveinpick hotel it was just one minute walk to Masjid Nabvi. We went for ziyarats also arranged by Adam Travel. Then we went to Mecca and performed Ummrah as new year 2020 gift in Haram Sharif . We visited ziyarats also in Mecca. We stayed 5 nights at Swissotel Melaka Hotel. Our all group members were very friendly and cooperative. Dr Suliman was always happy and motivated group leader. Fantastic experience: Alhamdulillah great experience! The biggest advantages I have experienced were: 1. Inbound flight to Saudi was to Jeddah and outbound flight from Saudi was from Madina. Hence we did not need to fly from Jeddah while returning to Canada 2. There was bus service available to go to Mina after performing fard tawaf (even at night)

Positive experience: The facilitator for my 2019 hajj was Adam Travel, 4J VIP package. Hajj in general is not an easy pilgrimage considering you have 3.5 million people performing the same rituals during the same time slots but Allhamdullilha Adam Travel tried their best to make it as easy and as memorable experience. No matter how “VIP” the package maybe, there will be times where your patients will be tested, and trust me in every way possible. I developed a mental model to say “its Hajj….Sab kuch chalta hai” in English it means don’t let anything bother, accept other people’s shortcomings and carry on. The expectation with VIP package is to have capable and knowledge spiritual leader/guide and Sh Waleed Almakee was nothing short of that. He is down to earth, humble, approachable person and most importantly very knowledge. His knowledge is not limited to just the arkam of hajj but also the history of different sites across Madina and Mecca and the spiritual importance of these sites. In addition, he is also a capable leader, making good and rational decisions on the spot that benefited the whole group. He is a well rounded gentleman, and a capable leader. Just an FYI, Sh Waleed has few spiritual perks up his sleeve and is well worth it. Along with Sh Waleed, we had our Adam Travel Canada operations manager Ch. Asif Rana. He took care of our needs and always on standby helping us with our programs and always looking ahead to ensuring all facilities are ready and planned for us when required. Sh Waleed and Ch Asif Rana worked well together tirelessly to ensure all our needs were met and ensure we had the best possible time though out our hajj experience. Adam Travel Canada in general is a well rounded company. Adam travel has a massive network of people spread across different sites, they work tirelessly round the clock to ensure to make the hajj experience as easy as possible. Their facilities are as good as it gets such as their camps in mina where there was abundant food and drinks available, AC camps and camps are located right across to the Jamarath, it’s a about 10 min walk to the Jamarath arena entrance. Based on my experience, in the mina camps, since you will be sleeping in a 40’x 12’ tent with about 24 people, I highly recommend having surgical style masks on. This is to prevent contamination of viruses and bacteria as they can easily spread. Their buses are well rounded and comfy with all the facilities you need for a long ride. In Muzdallifa they had light foam type mattresses that was comfortable to sleep on and no longer required the yoga type matt I had purchased for this occasion. As with any travel agency facilitating Hajj, there is a high probability of oversight, considering they are over 3.5 million people performing hajj and hundreds of travel agencies. Based on the initial itinerary by the travel agency it looked like we had all of our time in mecca including the last day in mecca, hotel located right across to the Haram. Based on the itinerary, our last day in haram fell on a Friday and we were expecting to pray our Jummah salah at the haram. However, this was not the case, we were asked to check out from the hotel in Mecca on Thursday and check into a hotel in Jeddah. Obviously, this was unexpected and was bough to the attention of Adam Travel. As a result, the president of Adam Travel personally apologized to our group and requested us not to check out on Thursday and stay the Friday. Since we had already made plans to check in in Jeddah, the president offered few perks to compensate for the oversight. In my opinion, Adam Travel accepted this as an issue, took responsibility for their actions and acted accordingly, resulting in `sort of `happy campers. My overall experience we good, if I can afford my next trip to Hajj In Sha Allah I would go with Adam Travel again.

They were resourceful in Saudi, knew the procedures, cautious about safety of the group; everything went fine by the Grace of God. I would recommend them.
