CAA Store - Belleville

Negative experience: I would highly recommend having white blankets on hand for the infant passport photos. It’s in my opinion unreasonable to expect someone to bring an item that is required for the service you offer. Please also consider your customers’ efforts to time the photo between naps and feeds. This was my fifth day trying to leave the house to bring my baby in and we ended up not being able to do it. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Called to add another member to my account as she was travelling to US for a couple of weeks. Service was very quick and I was able to ensure coverage for my daughter as she travelled to NYC and Boston.

Positive experience: A little disappointed that when I ordered my trip tick they didn't send through the mail. I pay enough for the service.

Negative experience: Went to this location to book an emergency flight. Was told I needed an appointment. Then they said they could give me a number to call. Well,I had already tried that and got a voicemail, I needed personal assistance. This location is useless.

Negative experience: We’ve been involved in an accident, although this has nothing to do with CAA store in Belleville, it’s been well over a month and yet we’ve never heard a word from the adjusters, they gave the go ahead to the repair company to fix the vehicle without even talking to us, there is 33,000$ damage on the vehicle that is worth 49,000 and yet no consideration is taken for the car fax. Stay away from CAA insurance. They are there when you need a tow or anything but when it’s insurance they disappear just as easy.

Negative experience: As long time members we are very disappointed with the service, or lack of that we received on the afternoon of Wednesday June 7. We approached the travel section to obtain some information. One lady was busy with clients, the other lady was on the phone. We waited patiently, it is common courtesy not to interrupt someone while they are on a call. And then with phone in hand and still attached to her ear she said bluntly "what do you want?" We responded that we wanted to inquire about travel. With her finger pointing in a general direction she said that we needed to make an appointment. The lady on the desk showed very little interest to accomadate us. We then left. The customer service we received today was totally unacceptable. Let me remind you that we the members and customers are the ones who pay your salary.

You can do this by downloading the form and sending it in by mail or in a twenty minute visit in person - don't forget to bring your valid Canadian driver's license with you!

Negative experience: I'm an accountant and very concerned about the legitimacy of this insurer when it comes to auto policy sales. I have been insured with them for a while but when I called to make changes I received some sketchy answers (kept referring to a car I no longer had, when asked to just forget about it and put it back the way it was I was charged an extra $19 per month) and was unable to escalate to a supervisor.

We have found them to be competitively priced and quick to respond. They are highly recommended. This recommendation extends to all branches of the CAA that we have visited. Belleville, Oshawa and Peterborough.
