Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Liz highly enough as a travel agent! From the very beginning, she brought warmth, professionalism, and a level of attention to detail that made our trip completely stress-free. Fantastic experience: Booked a vacation to Mexico with Scott. Everything went as smoothly as I could expect from a responsible travel agency. Before the vacation, he was able to answer all my questions timely and gave me options based on my budget. When my flight was delayed/cancelled a couple of times, he was able to speak to the airline on my behalf to sort everything out with compensation. People like Scott are the reason I would spend extra money on travel agencies instead of booking everything directly. The responsiveness, responsible attitude and great level of customer service will give you the peace of mind you need.

Fantastic experience: This is a very special "THANK You" to Lindsay Kipp for all of the help that she provided regarding my recent flight and hotel reservations to/in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Lindsay is a phenomenal Manager ... extremely professional, knowledgeable, efficient, accommodating, friendly and pleasant. She consistantly provides EXCEPTIONAL client services and is highly recommended. While in PV, EVERYTHING was absolutely AMAZING! Beautiful hotel with incredible service (Puerto de Luna), fabulous weather (sunshine and heat guaranteed daily), wonderful company (family and friends), delicious food, fun activities, etc. Also, the WestJet flight carry-on and back pack only (no check-in baggage) miraculously worked for me. I usually bring the HUGE suitcase including the kitchen sink. The carry-on only method was just too funny and worked FABULOUSLY! Once again, Lindsay, THANK YOU for your topnotch quality service. Looking forward to dealing with you for my upcoming vacations and accommodations.

Fantastic experience: I thought booking the first trip for my family was going to be very stressful, I didn't know where to start! I contacted Flight Centre via their online form, and I received an email promptly from the Travel Consultant, Kylie Anderson. I typically like to get different quotes from a few different travel consultants before I choose the right trip, however I didn't need to. Kylie was present, attentive to our needs, easily accessible, answered all my 1000 questions honestly and professionally, and she was really patient. I felt her confidence and dedication, and she is a wealth of knowledge. She went over different options and tried to stay within my budget. She even stayed back about 2 hours after her shift was done, on a Friday to top it off, and the Flight Centre was closed, just to process everything for us! She took her time, and was careful during the process. She even took the initiative to seat my family together in the plane. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves, she truly went above and beyond for us. We know going forward who to contact when we want to book our next vacation. My husband and I are forever grateful and look forward to our trip with our kids, thanks to you, Kylie!

Negative experience: Horrible service - definitely would NOT recommend. Elyshia was quick to respond to my initial enquiry and agreed to help me book my holiday, then I never heard another word from her. I sent two follow up emails, with details about what I wanted, then asking for a progress report but never got a response. I sent a final email saying i was going to find another travel agent and didn’t receive a response to that either.

Negative experience: The worst place to go to book a vacation trip. If you don't want have your day ruined don't go to this place, you will have the worst customer service, really bad aptitude from employees and the worst of all if you are not canidia or have an accent you will be discriminated.

Positive experience: Ottawa Ontario office. During COVID they are enforcing meetings by appointment only. So drop-ins are not possible. However, they do their best to answer emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Their system is not able to match the beatdown prices.of.some websites but they were pretty close and give excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Elyshia - was a life saver on my recent trip. Air Canada cancelled my original trip home and wanted me to take a flight back that would have been impossible to make. She fought with Air Canada after her work day was done to get me on the later flight AC had originally scheduled me on before trying to switch me to a Rouge flight that I couldn't make. She also found me a great hotel for my trip and is really responsive.

Negative experience: Called and left a voicemail and never got a reply back, days after I decided to take my chances and do a walk in. Got greeted by a snooty lady who takes our number to just say she will call to book us an appointment . All along the two lady’s working looked as if they were not busy. Felt so u welcomed and offended by her demeanour. Definitely taking my business somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I have just booked a much (look forward to )holiday with Elyshia , to Barbados for my daughter and myself. Usually we book travel online but as we had wished to pay separately and had a couple of "Covid travel" queries decided to use a Flight Center agent. Elyshia was very lovely and made a couple of very helpful suggestions as well as researched the requirements for Barbados. We traveled regularly pre covid especially to Australia ( our homeland !) so will be using this nice lady to help again I'm sure.

Fantastic experience: My family of four recently used this flight centre to help us relocate back to Australia from Canada. As you can imagine, during these times, this alone is a difficult ask. Omar Guechtal, our agent was incredible. Super professional to work with and took everything we needed to consider to make our flights easier, in to consideration. Negative experience: I write this review with genuine concern to all consumers that purchase their ticket at this location especially from Hannah the flight agent or Lyndsay the supervisor. My brother purchased a ticket abroad during these unprecedented Covid times. The mistakes are 3-fold. First mistake. Hannah failed to read the advisory rules for entering a country oversees in regard to Covid 19 protocol. That mistake led my brother to not be able to board the flight here in Ottawa to Toronto as he did not meet the Covid 19 requirements which was to have written proof for a negative result within 96 hours of entering the final destination in the middle east. Hannah was under the assumption that the rule was to have the results 96 hours before departing. 1st very frustrating mistake. Second mistake. Hannah failed to advise my brother of the ID requirements to enter the Middle East. As we have been flying with flight centre for over a decade, we have never needed ID validation prior to entering the destination in the Middle East. Of course, Hannah neglected to advise such valuable information. Third mistake. The invoice which we were held liable for was never signed. Of course, Hannah did not read the invoice and did not give us a copy. All we received was the itinerary which does not state anything other than the flight details. Now, you have my brother stranded in London England and when we spoke with flight centre emergency 24 our team, they advised that because he did not have the proper documentation (which again we had no idea) that we must pay for another full price ticket to the final destination and the return ticket that we already paid for is now void and we must pay for that ticket too. Once we persuaded (emergency team) them to reach out to Hannah because of course this flight centre in Westboro is closed on the weekend due to Covid. Hannah replies back after more than 2 hours (keep in mind my brother is still stranded in London and the window is closing by the hour for the Covid 19 test expiration) stating that on the INVOICE (which we never read, signed or received) stated that my brother is responsible for all documentation. We then requested to reach out to her supervisor Lyndsay and unfortunately Lindsay stated that they will not book another ticket for him free of charge and that we must absorb the cost. Come to find out Lyndsay is who took payment and alleges that the invoice was signed yet we don’t have proof or a copy of the invoice. Both Lyndsay and Hannah refused to speak with us at this time and the conversation was coordinated by Sandra the team lead at emergency support. I can give much more details, but this google review does not allow to provide an essay length of a review. what we are now left with. Pay up another $2650 for a ticket that we already paid for. To sum up. $2923.37 for the original 2-way ticket plus $500 hotel fees to stay in London overnight Plus $2650 for the additional tickets. We are now left with a total of $6073.37 charge. Now as stated earlier we have flown with flight centre over 10 years and the first time we face an issue flight centre turns their back on us. If not for the sake of customer service, then the sake of a Canadian citizen stranded in London should of compelled flight centre to fix their mistake and book him another ticket free of cost. Unfortunately, this company and specifically this location are incompetent and negligent in their basic responsibility to ensure the customer is aware of his or her flight details. I advise everyone on reading the Ontario consumer act drafted in 2002 to know your rights if you run into such an unfortunate circumstance that we are dealing with now. After reading the consumer act you will come to realize that your rights are protected, and you have a legal premise to entertain if you choose to. Understand exactly what you're paying for at this location. A dishonest, incompetent and negligent employees (Hannah & Lyndsay) who put everyday Canadians at risk. Don’t fall for their fake ingenuine persona. Warning to all.

Fantastic experience: Just came back from a great vacation in Barbados. I went to Flight Centre Place d'Orleans and was greeted by Lola. She is an exceptional travel agent! Very professional and friendly. She suggested possible venues on different islands for these vacations and she took care of the logistics. Fantastic experience: I usually look after booking my own trips but decided to get some help as I was taking my mom with me to Paris and London. Kristyna was so incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our trip. I appreciated all the transfers from airport to hotel and the arrangements to take the Eurostar from Paris to London. We did not have to worry about a thing! Everything was perfect, stress free and my mom and I had a wonderful trip. Thanks Kristyna! We will be back

Fantastic experience: Extremely helpful staff. We dealt with Robert for booking a trip with our baby and the service provided was beyond my expectations. He was resourceful and professional, and always very courteous, and managed to find us great seats and great prices for airfare. Will definitely be using Flight Centre for future bookings of family vacations.

Fantastic experience: Our family just got back from an amazing trip to Los Angeles and Hollywood. We were there for four nights and stayed in Hollywood. Our travel agent, Hanna Folkins, was amazing and oh so very helpful! My husband and I were travelling with our teenage daughter and have never been to LA. Hanna gave us a framework to start with... basically listening carefully to our wants/needs and then working with us until we came up with our plan. She was flexible and had excellent suggestions for us. We haven’t travelled a whole lot lately, and her suggestions were excellent! We stayed at the Loews hotel where we could see the Hollywood sign right from our room. The hotel was right on the Hollywood walk of fame and therefore in an amazing location! We walked, used the hop on hop off bus, Ubered and had a car rental to go to Malibu for one day! If you need an amazing, open minded, helpful, thoughtful travel agent, call Hanna!!

She works at a very effective and efficient way. Quite honestly - there has been time when I forgot which company she works for - as I just call the saved number (Travel Booking Elyshia) on my cell phone :)

Negative experience: Terrible, my wife and have been stranded twice in Germany due to Flight Centre due to their incompetence! This is serious, we are not impressed after paying almost 14 000$ for this trip!

Fantastic experience: I book all my travel with Flight Center. In the age of expedia and other travel sites that don’t really care after they get your money, the crew at flight center don’t stop until you are happy with everything. Can’t say enough good about the staff here (especially Leslie).

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of working with Hanna in finding some travel options to visit family in the southern United States. This was particularly important to me because my family means everything to me. Hanna took this as a personal mission to make sure that she found the right travel options, prices and dates that would work for me. She was professional, personable and a genuine joy to work with. She truly cared about getting me to my destination. It was not just another transaction to her but she wanted to make sure that my trip was successful. I would highly recommend Hanna and the team at the Flight Centre in the Glebe.

Fantastic experience: I've booked two trips with Jaclyn Godin at the Glebe Flight Centre, one to South Africa and Namibia, with flights going to Africa and within Africa, plus she booked my hotel in Cape Town. She also booked my trip to the Maritimes with flights and a car rental. Jaclyn also booked flights for a friend who had some very real challenges. The friend had called four other travel agencies to get the special help she needed, but it was Jaclyn that came through for her. In my dealings with Jaclyn, she has always been efficient, precise and has gotten back to me quickly with flight times, dates and prices. She has also found very good deals. Jaclyn is competent and is very professional to work with. I recommend her highly if you're planning a trip.

Fantastic experience: I have booked all my international travel at Flight Centre in Place d'Orleans with Omar and always recieved great service. We usually book trips down south to Sandals or Secrets resorts, which I highly recommend! Next trip is to Morocco!!!! I had little knowledge on which tour would be best, Omar listened to my requirements and they type of experience I was hoping to have. He suggested a 16 day Peregrine tour that checked off everything on my bucket list for Morocco. All of the staff at the location are professional and welcoming. It's always a wonderful to walk in and see friendly faces. Can't wait to see what adventures are suggested next.

Fantastic experience: Great Experience!!! I was trying to arrange travel for my grandparents; 83 and 86 yrs old respectfully, to take a trip to Whitehorse. This trip requires 1 or more transfers. I was overwhelmed trying to figure this out on my own. Once I was connected to Flight Center I started speaking with Hanna Folkins. I let Hanna know that my grandparent's would not be able to navigate the airport at all; they needed help with moving around such a large area as well as having any idea with getting from point A-B. Hanna assured me everything would be taken care of at both ends of the trip and the layover in the middle. When they got home my Grandmother was so thrilled with how all the travel arrangements were handled and how easy everything was made for them she couldn't wait to tell me all about it! Again, Thank You Hanna!!!

Fantastic experience: Have booked flights with Lindsay a couple times now this year. Always so helpful and super friendly, and works tirelessly to find me the best prices even though I am very picky about dates and times and airlines. They have a great team over there in Orleans and will not be booking with anyone else. Highly recommend. Very happy customer over here

Fantastic experience: I've booked 3 trips with Corey so far. The first one was a group trip to a vacation resort, the other two return flights also for vacation. Corey works efficiently in providing all the options and providing revised options if changes are needed. He is friendly and responsive, clearly explaining the differences between options and the details of pricing without hesitation. He also gives great general and specific advice for the type of travel and destination. Corey's professionalism is the reason I continue to use Flight Centre to book my trips.

Negative experience: refused to help me find a flight. I need a sunwing flight in canada, was told sunwing doesnt fly within canada, which is absolutely not true.

Positive experience: Always helpful for booking your vacation. They are now charging a fee for their service. Remember to add that and insurance to your price. Also, some airlines are now charging for checked baggage. Nice, eh?

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Went in today to book 4 flights. I knew which flights I wanted and the price that was listed online. The man said those flights were not available at the price I saw. Not only that but that there were no available flights for those days. Did not offer me any other options. Did not recommend anything. I asked for different dates, airlines, length of vacation. He refused to be accommodating in any way. I asked if I should book online and he said he would not offer me advice as it’s not through them. Refused to put work in for us or to find something that would work. I asked to speak to the manager and the gentleman beside him (OMAR) said that was him. I then asked for the owner. He said that was also him. I asked for a 1800 number and he said that they are not Starbucks. I have booked flights and trips at this location and could not believe these two men were treating me in such a way. I left there and went to Gloucester center and booked my flights with them. I ended up with the departure I wanted and the return a day later for an extra 50$! So I’m ending up with a longer vacation at a price your staff said was impossible. 755.00 for 15 days. It’s a shame that this experience will never allow me to go back there or any other flight center as I have done in the past.

Fantastic experience: Jen Jen and Jen .... She is the best person to deal with in this place she did our booking in a place she visited we are excited to visit in March and she helped us a lot in our travel insurance and made our life easier and I paid and I was happy to pay more and upgrade upon her suggestions , I recommend this place if you deal with this lady only , the rest are not like her .

Negative experience: They buy bulk flights and hotels, mark them up. the service is totally horrible and their end rates are much higher than expedia. when hurricane sandy hit, they failed to get us refunds. expedia gave us refunds same day. never EVER use these guys!

Fantastic experience: Flight Centre Glebe is a great place to book your first vacation. I came in there with my intended destination and plans and they helped set everything up. The people there (Sam and Lisa, specifically) were very patient in explaining everything I'd want/need and the prices I'd be expecting to pay. They also helped me find better options as the days passed (I booked 3 months in advance). The week before my flight, they called me in to get me all set with the documents I'd need. I'd definitely consider coming back in the future :)

Negative experience: My boyfriend and I went to Flight Center for the first time last May to have some information on our next travel destination. As we haven't really traveled before we figured that the smartest thing to do was to get help from an expert. We didn't know where to start but Katie was our agent assigned to the task (Place d'Orléans, Ontario). When we finally picked up our final package we were ask to sign here, sign there and do a quick review of our documents. Since it was our 4th face to face interaction we had complete trust in our agent. But when it was time to do the online flight check in (the day before leaving) we couldn't because because my name on my ticket didn't match my passport!?!? Since the agency was already closed when we were doing our check in we decided to call flight center first thing in the morning. Katie was suppose to be in at 10 a.m. but we were able to talk to another agent prior. Please note that we called at 9:00 a.m. and our flight was at 1 p.m. The other agent mentioned that there was nothing she could do to help us but to cancel and rebook with that days price (which was $300 more). She said we could probably carry over the balance from my ticket to the new ticket. She had to verify to confirm. So she called us back saying she would not be able to transfer the original ticket amount towards the new ticket as the names didn't match. Meaning we would have lost our entire amount paid and would have to buy an entire new ticket. So her suggestion was to hurry up and get to the airport and try to figure something out there with the airline. (How reassuring! -Not!) Side note: Due to this rush, as we were still in the process of packing, We ended up spending a little over $100 US for missing items along the whole trip. Regardless we asked the agent to tell Katie to call us as soon as she got in to try to figure out something since she was working on our file. She did not call us as soon as she came in at 10am. Thankfully the airport accepted the mismatch names to get to Costa Rica but the stress of potentially not getting our return boarding pass stayed with us for the whole trip. We were about to board (note it was 12:45 p.m.). When we got our first call from Katie... She said there was nothing she could've done since we signed off and accepted our package the way it was handed to us... Pathetic!!! Why do you go to travel agencies if they can't even get your name right? Seriously? That wasn't the only hiccup we had with Katie. When we booked we were offered the Gadventure package with lots of activities. She mentioned that the package included white water rafting and waterfall repelling. I like adventures but those are not my cup of tea and I wasn't sure I wanted to do those activities. Katie then said that I was not required to participate but that they were offered and available. What does that tell you? That the activities are included? It's a big play on words if you ask me...it can lead to some misinterpretation. When we got to Costa Rica, the activities weren't included... so we spent an additional $500 US that was not budgeted. During our trip we rented a car after our Gadventure tour. While booking we ask to buy the car insurance in our package so there wasn't going to be any surprises. She said that it was best to purchase the car insurance with the car rental company as it would likely be less expensive and typically mandatory. Probably $80 or so. In the end it was $200 US for the car insurance for 3 days... another surprise! Oh but it doesn't end! While we were in Costa Rica we tried to reach Katie to let her know what was going on. We were told that it was our fault if we were misinformed. That we had to read everything we had to dig deeper and that flight center had really strict policies on what happens after the sign off... Well if we would've known we would've never signed off... This is why I strongly recommend not to go there!

Negative experience: Poor greeting, unprofessional approach. I could easily see there was no training involved or the person did not want to be there neither wanted the customer. I will go back to my online bookings and let this business take their rest. Their hours on Google seems to be iincorret, says 7 while their window sticker says 9 pm and the mall is open till then too.
