Fantastic experience: Wow, went here to get my International Driving Permit. I reached the location at 4.50pm, 10 minutes before close, as I rushed after a busy work day. However, the lady greeted me with a smile and completed my application so quickly that was I was all done in 5 minutes. What a wonderful experience, would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. The photograph costed me $20, as I wasn’t a CAA member, but for this level of service, it doesn’t matter. Thanks team for making my experience great. I don’t recollect the two beautiful ladies names who assisted me. Sorry!

They also have trip planning tips and local maps. CAA PLUS members can get FREE passport photos and Basic membership $10 for photos. They also have drivers handbook for car & motorcycle available.

Negative experience: Says insurance on the sign and stood in line to find out I have to call !!!!!! Why say insurance on store but I have to call for address change?

Negative experience: I booked an appointment with a travel agent at the Oshawa location online. When I showed up, I was told that the agent wasn't working and was asked what did I want to do? I said book a vacation. I was told to make an appointment during the week, which isn't possible since I work. Also, I don't trust the appointment booking system. It was a waste of my time and a huge disappointment not to be able to book my vacation. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. The reason for 2 stars is the usual excellent service when purchasing insurance. Don't use CAA for travel planning.

Fantastic experience: Went in for an international license , took hardly 10 mins , and you can take a photo there at 19.99 or from outside at your convenience. Need your license valid, at least for a year, so they can give the valid international license for an year ,max you can get is 1 year. There is no need to fill out any forms, go to the counter, and apply. The people work here are helpful

Negative experience: my wife and I went in to just buy movie tickets and they made us wait over an hour. Unlike the other CAA locations we've been to there's actually tellers that greet you and ask anything I can help u with? wasn't the case at this location what made it worst was 1 teller with a pink hoodie when she was done with her customers didn't even bother looking at us? I work in retail and I found that very rude she stayed on the computer for 10mins and then went to lunch. WORST LOCATION

Negative experience: Booked a trip in 2019, paid in full Dec 2019. We're told our insurance through Orion which they use, was good to cancel for any reason. Not true it took almost 3 year to get all the money back. I had to keep phoning CAA to ask and only by doing that found out summer 2021 they were reimbursing flights, but nobody had reached out. Same fall 2022 phoned again to see if a refund was available only to find out they were minus the 200 for the insurance. What a joke not impressed at all so beware when booking and using their insurance. Not booking there again.

Negative experience: I’m just so disappointed. I’ve always loved CAA but I received a call before Christmas to renew and explicitly stated I needed time to make a decision on which membership. Caller understood and agreed to call me back the following Monday or Tuesday (nope)… instead they charged my credit card for the higher level membership that very night… and then called 2 days after it hit my credit card. I called last week to escalate… no return call. Called again today and new agent agreed after pulling my call that I was correct. Apparently escalation from here will take another 2 weeks. So disappointed in this service. I’m pretty sure this is stealing money.

Fantastic experience: Sunday December 11/2022 6:45pm I was driving through a subdivision in Oshawa and I happened to see the flatbed driver (Munir) struggling to push the vehicle out of the driveway in the snow, the vehicle was stuck so I stopped and jumped out to give him help and we were unable to push so I asked him for a strap to attach to my car and helped pull the car out. By doing so I didn't know I had a screw stuck in my tire and while I was spinning the front tires the screw popped out and my tire deflated instantly. The driver went out of his way to give me his last tire plug and an air compressor free of charge, Munir went above and beyond to help me in return without question, I would recommend CAA to anyone from this day forward, to have drivers that care is an amazing quality, most companies would have charged a few ... Keep hiring drivers like Munir way to go CAA!!!

Negative experience: Just got physically assaulted outside the thrift store in ajax ontario by CAA employee, he spat on my car, called me vile names and tried to pull me out of my car because I stated he impeded the handicapped spot I was parked in because I'm Handicapped and now the service won't answer my phone calls to alert them of this

Fantastic experience: Wow! I wish I had of got a membership years ago. The premium package cost me a bit over $200.00 which gives me a million dollars in peace of mind if I break down. Long tow call coverage, flat tire, dead battery, stranded out of gas and way more covered. Plus discounts for being a member at lots of restaurants and gas stations. Wonderful staff here too! So happy I went in!!
