Fantastic experience: Visited this location to get my international driving permit. The service was great—fast, efficient, and the staff was super friendly. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: In person Service was excellent. We've in to get my son's passport pictures done. The service was fast and easy. The only reason for a 4 star review is that I was trying to call the store for over an hour and no one picked up. I finally just drove there and let them know that I had tried to get a hold of them and they said that they don't answer their phones, it's only in person. Not sure why they have a phone number then.

Negative experience: Hit or miss service. I get my IDP done on a yearly basis, and usually have no issues. Sometimes they are quick and professional, other times they struggle to even find my membership even when I am carrying the physical card. 2 stars because you're better off going to other GTA locations.

Negative experience: I buy premium membership with 5 service calls and used only 1 service call . When I call to get another service . They say you membership is cancelled. You have pay for the service. I pay 150$ for premium membership and get only 1 call .

Fantastic experience: I am signed up to CAA and always get great service. The other day my car did not start. They came within half an hour and helped start the car and tested the battery and then he changed my battery now the car is running good.

Negative experience: CAA is not what it used to be. They will look for any excuse they can to avoid towing your car and will drive off leaving you stranded. Even the operator I talked to just a few minutes ago was trying to interrogate me, demanding that I tell her if my alternator or spark plugs are damaged. How the hell am I supposed to know? When I tried to reason with her saying that I'm not a mechanic I don't know how to identify let alone test these things, she retorts that she knows where they are in her car. Like good for you lady, but I have a mechanic because I have a profession in a different field. She only started complying when I threatened to cancel my membership and talk to her supervisor.

Positive experience: Hats off to the staff. Huge line and the 2 women were very friendly and really efficient. FYI the IDP took less than 10mins after I was served.

Fantastic experience: Just came in for an IDP (international driving permit). It was completed within 5 minutes, including the photos. They do the photos here, just in case anyone was wondering. Much quicker than doing it online for sure.

Fantastic experience: I have always been super impressed with this location. But today, it was even a much better experience. I am to travel Monday morning and just reached on time at 5:01PM sharp Friday night. Andria was very kind to let me in after work hours and quickly get my document done. She showed no signs of frustration, haste or being angry. Instead was extremely pleasant, helpful and smiling. Thanks Andria. Your help will go a long way.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time at this location. Again, I had a great experience. I took the time out before work to get my International Driver Permit (IDP) due to their hours. Sally greeted me immediately as I walked up to the kiosk. They were friendly, patient, and efficient. I was able to complete the transaction in less than 10 minutes because I brought my own photos. Thank you, CAA and team, for always making my travel preparations easy!!!

Fantastic experience: I went there around 9:15am, no waiting. Within 5 minutes I got my IDP. They also have photo service.

Positive experience: Got my International Driving Permit (IDP) here, cost $31 total - in & out in 5 mins. I brought my own passport size photos, or you can get them done on the spot for $20. Left off one star as I repeatedly tried to call and no one picked up the phone.

Fantastic experience: I have come twice to get my children's passport photos renewed. The staff were very efficient and patient with my young kids. No complaints whatsoever.

Negative experience: I came this past summer to see a travel agent. I had made an appointment, but when I arrived, she told me she was overwhelmed and could only spend 10 minutes with me. She asked me where I wanted to go, and I told her Strasbourg. She said "Where is that?". Really??? Once she figured it out, she was unable to come up with pricing/itinerary that met my needs. In comparison, I later contacted a Flight Centre agent, and the customer service I received was exceptional. She was able to send me a number of options for the time frame and budget. Her hotel recommendations were outstanding . She even made a recommendation for a tour that turned out to be amazing . Not coming to CAA for travel needs again

Negative experience: Store is closed on Saturdays. Seriously. How stupid. "Staff shortage". So pray more and service customers. Our close on a slower weekday. Huge management failure. Unbelievable.

Fantastic experience: Went for my IDL, process was quick (in and out with no line in about 10-15 mins) and the nice thing was they take a photo on the spot too if you don’t have any handily available (at a cost of ~$20 at the time of this written review).

Fantastic experience: Went recently to CAA Markham store to get home/auto insurance. I have been with them before and only left due to high prices. I waited for my agent Kit Hong to inform me of the new prices which are much better than previously. Kit is an agent who goes above and beyond for the customer. He is friendly, mannerly, professional and will find the best arrangement for your insurance needs. I am so relieved to be back with CAA after an absence of 5yrs. They are trustworthy and reputable. I hope they can keep their prices reasonable in the future.

My experience to buy coverage online was clunky. As mentioned, I couldn't check out my cart, my struggle to get a hold of a call center rep was pain staking. I'm all for speed and convenience which comes with online and phone channels. But you just can't replace what bricks and morter and face to face offers. I will be sure to recommend your store for insurance and travel needs.

Positive experience: I was there to get an International Driving Permit. The process was fast. They take your picture on the spot which is very convenient. What I didn’t expect was that the store was closed from 12:30-1:30 for lunch!!!! It was not advertised on their website and caused a long line up outside the store.

Negative experience: Pretty awful experience. Wanted to look for an item for purchase. Specific item and would have been fast. Was there at 12:18 PM but Doors locked. Sign says closed from 12:30 to 1:30 but doors already locked. It looked like 2 or 3 staff inside and 2 customers. At least six customers outside. Most left. We did too. The staff who finally came to door for someone else was incredibly rude. So be warned. Very disappointing.
