Fantastic experience: I want to give a shout out to John, who rescued me after my car battery gave out on me, at a busy intersection in Chatham, Ont. John got me going, and then followed me to Battery Boy, to make sure I got there safely. The battery stalled on me again on the way, and John was able to identify that the positive post connection was loose. It appears that the installer didn’t tighten it enough last year when the battery was install. I think John works for Premium Towing or perhaps it’s Prime Time Towing. I can’t remember for sure. John got to me very quickly, as well. He took good care of me.

Negative experience: I got an unpleasant experience from you.I was trying to call you since 2 hours and when we call we wait a couple hours on hold before getting through. I couldn’t understand the logic to wait that much hour for an emergency situation. We took the membership for our whole family and my husband is the membership holder, when I called for a help, they want my husband to be here to repair the vehicle , unfortunately he couldn’t show up and . I requested to make an appointment in the evening but they told me to call again when my husband back from work.I couldn’t understand the stupidity behind that and we are a premium card holder since three years.If I want to pick my kids or go anywhere I really need to get the car repaired.In addition , so again I need to wait this long time to talk with the staff. I’m requesting you to value others time. I hope this review helps you to improve services. Thank you

Negative experience: Absolutely horrendous service!!! I’ve been waiting 8 days for a callback from CAA regarding my auto claim. I’ve waited on the phone twice for 2 hours and twice been told I would be contacted by an adjuster within 48 hours. Still no call back. I have no car and am unable to get a rental car because CAA can’t even complete a simple phone call and verify the other drivers insurance is valid!! I am extremely disappointed with the service.

Negative experience: We have been told we will be contacted within 2 days twice now and it has been 8 days. When we call we wait a couple hours on hold before getting through. The last we spoke was 6 days into this and they still didn't know if the at fault driver had valid insurance and our vehicle wasn't even looked at yet! Once it is looked at we are suppose to receive a call but we are 8 days in with no call. Not acceptable wait times, especially when you both work and live out of town.

Fantastic experience: I went to get an Ontario map (free for members) and some travel accessories, mainly packing cubes. One woman came to offer to help me. She took the 3 kinds they had out of their package to show me how big each one was. We discussed different ways to pack each cube and organize your luggage with these. She was very helpful since I've never used them.

Negative experience: Horrible service Got highest rv package, told it covers conversion vans. They cancelled on a call because they are saying its a commercial van, even though ownership and everything says otherwise. No one would work with me just cancelled and gave my money back. Never dealt with such a rude company. Aparently they can tell more from a picture than ownership and registration can tell them. Tow truck driver even backed me up. Suggest going with another roadside service if you want some good service

Fantastic experience: I broke down today outside of Chatham and I had to take my car to my mechanic for a new alternator John showed up in a flatbed truck representing c a a what a great guy he treated my car like it was his own I used to have a membership for a lot of years and cancelled it because I didn't like who is coming to my rescue but I just like to say thank you John you represent Chatham very well I'll be using your services again

Fantastic experience: Excellent source for CAA membership (Silver members get free regional maps, Trip Ticks, Extended annual emergency service or Towing). They offer must-have travel insurance for Canadians day tripping or going on extended trips to USA. Annual travel insurance for American vacations can be prepaid for 5-10-15... Etc day duration in the States, you can choose which average period you will spend over the border. The insurance is extended coverage beyond OHIP. They also offer vacation planning assistance and discounts for members. Great staff and services. Thank you CAA!

Positive experience: Friendly helpful staff. I bought an intl. Driver's permit here. Even got them to take the required photos. Travel accessories offered here are not competitive. I suspect likewise for travel arrangements, but if you are old and don't know how to buy online, or require personal assistance, this place is as good as any I suppose. I'm sure they are well trained in sales and service.

Fantastic experience: Julie helped us plan our trip to Rome and a transatlantic cruise last month. Everything was perfect - the transfers, the flights, the hotel and cruise. Thanks CAA and a fabulous staff.
