Update May 2023 : We still haven’t got any refund. It was promised by end of the year 2022. We were able to book package through Nusuk platform for hajj 2023 but won't be able to fulfil payment as whole hajj saving we had is not refunded by Labbaik. They are not responding to calls/voicemails. Most of People get to do Hajj for just once in a lifetime (now with new platform the chances are very low to none) and can't believe they are not taking this seriously. Update January 2023: We still haven’t got any refund. It was promised by end of the year 2022. After that they are not replying to email communication.Only response we will get hopefully by giving review here. We had paid full amount in June for Hajj 2022 in and later Hajj was lottery system. We still haven’t got refund from labbaik nor they reply to email or messages. They promised 10 day processing like 2 months ago and not replying to message or emails. Very unprofessional service, least they can do is communicate.

Fantastic experience: I had the privilege to go with brother Bashir to Hajj last year. It was an experience of a lifetime. One of the things brother Bashir had far and beyond is accompanying me to the Jabal Arrahma in Arafat after I insisted on going despite the scorching heat. He understood what that walk meant for me / to experience a history moment and after some hesitation he decided to take me. This will stay with me forever. This year I reached out to him again as I am as helping a friend to register for Hajj. He was again very helpful. His service throughput the registration until the packages purchase is amazing. I have not seen a man with such level of Sabr! He was a very respectful and very knowledgeable. I am glad I was able to secure a Hajj package with him. Negative experience: Chaos from day one. Mismanagement of the highest order. Transportation issues abundant and no planning or coordination in Muzdalfa, Minna and Makkah. Inadequate air conditioning in Minna. Over crowding in Minna tents. Un hygienic bathroom and wazoo facilities. The only good thing was the two hotels in Madina and Makkah. Overall I would not recommend using ITHRAA Al khair or labbayk Hajj Canada as your service providers.

Negative experience: We applied for Hajj 2022, and paid in full. Labbayk informed after us paying money that Govt. changed rules and they cannot take us to Hajj that year. But refused to return the amount by providing one excuse after another. No one there picks up the phone, voicemail is full, and impossible to get hold of anyone. Once after many months, I am able to reach one person, Bashir Mustafa, who gives one date after another. It's been more than a year, still haven't received the money back, they don't seem to care. I don't understand what kind of business they are running. Will never trust this business again. Update: Apr 2024. Still haven't received our money back. It's been 2 years.

I encountered numerous technical glitches (i.e: uploading personal my picture, unable to top up my Ewallet, etc..) along the way on the Nusuk platform. Most importantly, when the short window on the Nusuk platform was opened to secure the Hajj package, I did not have sufficient funds in my Ewallet due to the inability to top it up for weeks on Nusuk due to technical difficulties. I sank into despair as I thought my plan to insha Allah go for Hajj this year had been derailed. I reached out to Mr. Bashir, and he scrambled with his contacts in Saudi Arabia to find an alternative package. He personally phoned me over the weekend and organized a conference a call with a representative in Saudi Arabia to ensure my booking for the Ithraa Al Khair package is confirmed. Furthermore, the timelines for the various activities on Nusuk were a moving target. Mr. Bashir kept all the pilgrims apprised of any updates and deadlines in a timely fashion through the WhatsApp private group. Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience in my application for Hajj 2024 with Labaykhajj and with brother Bashir specifically. I first applied with the company in June 2023. Since covid the ministry of Hajj has changed how they handle applications and they now rely on a system called Nusuk. I honestly found the new application process confusing but brother Bashir and his team took care of everything from handling my VISA to registering me in Nusuk to processing my payment and finally to securing my Hajj package. Below is a more detailed account of my experience for those who want more information. At first me and my other fellow applicants were added to a WhatsApp group chat on November 20th. From the start brother Bashir kept us updated regarding any new developments. He explained exactly how Labaykahjj processes your application, who our service provider would be (it was Ithraa Al Khair this year), and hosted educational zoom meetings explaining to us what we could expect as applicants in the upcoming weeks. Brother Bashir kept us informed every step of the way especially towards the end (mid to late February) when the packages began releasing and the process started speeding up. He explained exactly how the Hajj ministry would be conducting the sale of the packages and gave us advice on the best ways to maximize our chances of securing a spot. I know that applying for Hajj can be stressful. It is tremendously competitive and expensive in Canada (there was not a single package less than $22,000 this year and Canada's quota was around 1,500 when the total amount of applicants was well over 10,000). Our last zoom meeting was very touching as the sheikh reminded us that no one can escape what was written for them and to make lots of dua and that we would receive a reward regardless because of our intention. All this to say I am very grateful for brother Bashir and his team and all the effort they put in for us this year. They did an excellent job facilitating the whole process.

Son président nous a pressé de payer rapidement parce que les places étaient limitées Chose faite , après avoir reçu notre chèque, il nous a dit qu’il y a un problème avec la nouvelle procédure de réservation établie par les autorités du pays (Arabie Saoudite ), et qu’il avait déjà versé notre argent (toutes nos économies) dans je ne sais quoi , et qu’il attend que les autorités saoudiennes le rembourse . Depuis ce temps là (deux années), je l’appelle régulièrement, il ne répond pas à mes appels , il m’envoie des textos pour me dire de patienter et qu’il nous payerai après telle ou telle date, sans jamais respecter les délais promis. Nous attendons toujours notre dû. cette compagnie nous a causé beaucoup de tort, et j’espère que d’autres personnes ne revivent pas cette mauvaise expérience .

Negative experience: Nous avons été escroqués par cette entreprise ( Labayk hajj de visa enterprise).On nous a poussé à payer rapidement les frais de hajj (2022), avant de nous dire que le voyage a été annulé. Nous attendons toujours le remboursement, alors qu’il était question de quelques semaines…On ne répond pas à nos appels, hormis quelques messages non personnalisés ayant cessé depuis déjà quelques mois.

Negative experience: Labayk Hajj excels at one thing and one thing only: swiftly pocketing your payment. Don't be fooled by their promises and flashy website. When it comes to accountability, Labayk Hajj conveniently shifts the blame to their Saudi Arabian business partner as Mr. Bashir, the owner of the company, told me at 2023 Hajj. I was one of those people who suffered through this unnecessary mess caused by Labayak Hajj. It's a perplexing situation where customers pay Labayk Hajj for a Hajj package, yet Labayk Hajj offers no assurance of securing or even checking accommodations in Mina and Arafah. When inevitable mishaps occur, Labayk Hajj simply washes their hands of the matter, leaving you to grapple with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and a Saudi Arabian company that do not communicate in English. Also, Labayk Hajj overbooks accomodations in Makkah. One person told me that they paid for a quad room (for 4 people), but Labayk Hajj put an extra person in the room without their permission at the Holiday Inn in Makkah. In essence, Labayk Hajj is utterly and unequivocally INEFFECTIVE. -'Ali'

Negative experience: Visa Enterprise received my passport for issuing a Saudi family visit visa on June 12th and Mr. Bashir said on the 13th that “they had submitted my passport to the embassy” and on a separate phone call also said, “they send passports as soon as they receive them.” These were both lies as we found out that they had kept my passport for 3.5 weeks at their office and hadn’t even submitted it to the embassy. On top of that, they did not pick up any phone calls or emails for all the 3 weeks (even though eid holidays are only 5 days long). So, they not only lied to me but also have zero communication throughout the whole process. It took me more than 4 weeks to receive my passport back for a process that should have been done within a week. I suspect it would have taken even longer but I somehow managed to take up the issue up to a senior official at the consular office in the Saudi embassy in Ottawa along with being prepared to file a police report for stolen/missing passport. This process has caused an unreasonable amount of stress especially because they do not communicate or respond to phone calls and emails at all and ruined travel plans for me to visit my family in Saudi. I, of course, have all evidence of email communication and interactions with this company which clearly shows the apathy with which they treated my application.

Positive experience: Overall, it was a great experience for Ramadan umrah. Brother Bashir was a very helpful and knowledgeable guide. The only concern was communication on the number of days we would be in Medina. We thought it was 3, but it was 2.

Negative experience: I applied for a umrah visa for my wife 2 months ago and I payed 575$ for the application but I still have no response about the application despite calling and leaving messages. To be honest I feel I got scammed with this agency. They can just tell me sorry the application is taking too long and you have to wait I will accept it but no they just decided to not respond at all.

Positive experience: We used them for umrah visa. Giving three stars because ultimately we got the visa. Taking away two starts because of the lack of communication and misrepresentation in the visa application. If you are Canadian passport holder you can just apply online and get the visa yourself if you are not Canadian passport holder your application gets sent to your home country’s Saudi embassy and so using a Canadian agency was of no benefit. Moreover my visa was delayed and they stopped receiving my calls and responding to my emails instead of clearly communicating with us. I went online and found out they put down my occupation as unemployed and didn’t put me down as my wife’s mahram which is probably why mine got delayed for further scrutiny. If you are not Canadian passport holder you can probably get the umrah visa from your home country as everything is online now and the visa is not even stamped on your passport and they don’t need you to submit the physical passport anymore.

Negative experience: If you scroll down, youll noticed im not the only one who is having trouble getting their refund for Hajj 2022. Its a WHOLE YEAR LATER and my father has still not received a refund or any sort of communication. I luckily got in touch with someone and he said to send an email, and call back the next day. Ive been calling everyday for 15 days and he does not pick up my calls, sent them an email, and FB Message but no sort of communication has been received. So my last resort is to come here to get their attention. Not sure what kind of business these people are running but I would recommend you take your hard earned money else where unless you want to get scammed. Now that I got their attention, lets hear their excuse...
