Fantastic experience: Detail oriented

Negative experience: Do yourselves a favor and book your trips online with the Air Company you choose. DO NOT DO BUISSNESS OF ANY KIND WITH @FLIGHTCENTER. If something goes wrong with flight cancellations, prepare to have to pay for an extra flight back home and not get your hard-working money back from FLIGHT CENTER after paying an all-round trip. Run, go somewhere else. These guys are thieves and do not care for the Customer. The Employees LIE to you. The work ethics are just horrible.

Negative experience: Rude and arrogant customer service agent. I wanted to book a group holiday and I had some trouble with the website. I called the phone number on the website and asked if I could make this purchase in person. The so called customer service agent rudely dismissed the query saying they can’t help me only to have another staff at the office get a commission. This was a simple query and they did not have the courtesy to answer that. I could never trust this agency with this or any other bookings.

Fantastic experience: Better than booking online. Better for the same reason as why we use real estate agents: service, plus expertise. These guys have the knowledge, and are fun to chat with, so, Yes please! Works for me. Booked both our summer trips with them this year.

Negative experience: Always hate to leave a bad review, but this was ridiculous; I've been tasked with booking the annual ~20 person resort trip for my friends - aka a potentially great account with what I imagine carries a decent commission; Was looking for a reliable agent and saw that this Flight Centre was a short walk from home; Website clearly stated they are open at 10 AM, and did not stipulate anywhere that an appointment was necessary; Visited there today (May 15th, 2024) just before 10 AM - sign on the door confirms they open at 10 AM, and again nothing about needing an appointment; Waited till 10:05, tried the doors - locked; There was a maintenance man also waiting out front to get in; His English wasn't too strong but he pointed to the back where we could both clearly see all the agents doing their daily standup meeting; OK fine, meeting is running a bit long; Eventually the maintenance guy is able to wave a woman over to open the door - she lets him in, and as I peer in to inquire about opening, she closes and locks the door without saying anything! Clearly saw me, saw that I wanted to ask something, and she couldn't be bothered; I should have walked away, but gave it another 10 mins - it's now 10:20; There are now agents at their desks who clearly have an eye's view to the front door - I try the door again, still locked - give it a little knock, no one looks up, but I find it very hard to believe they didn't know I was there; I'm sorry, but if you can't even manage to open your business on time or acknowledge a potential customer, there isn't a chance in hell I am trusting you with tens of thousands of dollars of my friends and I's money;

Negative experience: Will never book with Flight Centre again. Called to book an all-inclusive vacation with them and it was nothing but issues from the beginning. I felt like the agent didn't care about customer service & was just happy to be getting a sale/commission. We requested 2 beds in the room and they said, yep no problem. When we were sent the quote, there was nothing about bed type on there & the agent said "we don't show that on the quote, but I have it in your reservation". We should have gotten it in writing, or just not booked at that point, if they couldn't confirm the bed type (lesson learned). We tried to follow up with Flight Centre & the hotel a few weeks before our travel date & no one could help us switch it to 2 beds prior to arrival. We get to the resort & they have us booked with 1 bed! The resort was kind enough to help us sort it out & move our room to 2 beds, but it took 45 minutes. I just felt that Flight Centre didn't really care about you or your booking after they got your money. I will never book with them again and will always book direct with the hotel/resort from now on.

Fantastic experience: I have used Steve Peca for my travels. He is very patient and professional. I like how he 78always double checks everything for me, especially when I am traveling with my children. Steve holds your hand from start to finish and offers great travel advice. I would recommend him anytime. Thank you, Steve, for always being there.

Negative experience: Website never works. Thought I would check in person, business hour shows it closes at 6. Arrived at 5:30, door is locked. The guy sat right next to the door didn’t even bother to stand up. A lady came and opened the door, told me they don’t take anyone after 5:30. The wth is the business hour for? If you don’t take anyone in at 5:30 that means you are closing at 5:30, not 6

Negative experience: Asked for a quote, and when I didn't receive it by the 2nd day, I said I would pop in - I was told no the agent was working from home, he than emailed me and said he "lost" my #, but found some hotels. When I asked for the hotels he went silent. Than he emailed before closing that he would give me details on Monday? Why use an agent if you can't even get honesty?

Negative experience: This flight centre has the worst customer service. When we walked in none of the agent greeted or acknowledged us. We waited for an hour for our turn when one of the agent got free she didn’t even offer to assist. Her name was Sarah extremely rude. I will never book my ticket from this place neither do I recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service! I don't usually use travel agencies, but I got overwhelmed with all the flight/hotel options online and decided to give it a try. Janet found the perfect trip for us within minutes! I described to her what type of travel I was looking for, my budget, my dietary restrictions, preferred activities, etc. and she immediately showed me a few very appealing options. She booked our flights, hotel accommodations and transfer from and to the airport. She followed up a few times leading to the vacation and was always available to answer any questions we had. Jameson was also extremely helpful, as Janet wasn't in the office one day and I needed assistance. Would use again in the future and I have already highly recommended their services to my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: I came here to plan a very last minute trip to Europe. My other holiday plans had fallen apart so I had to plan something with 1 week to go. Luckily one of the travel agents there, Kauna, was able to help me immediately. She helped me plan a 3 city trip that included flights, train tickets, day tours, food tours, countryside tours, city tours, airport transfers and more. And we got everything booked/organized quickly enough for me to actually go on my holiday. Even during my trip, she was always just an email away if I had any questions. And the trip went off without a hitch; she put together a really fantastic itinerary for me. So I highly recommend people work with her on their travels as she really came through for me.

I have been to Mexico several times, mostly to Tulum, but never to Los Cabos. The Riu Palace Baja California Resort was an excellent choice. The resort and the service we received was impeccable. The food was good at the dining room and the restaurants. The town and marina was just about 15 minutes away. We had to do some haggling to get the appropriate prices for the tours we did, which was whale watching, a sunset cruise, snorkeling and camel riding in the desert along the Pacific Ocean. This was such an enjoyable trip. I appreciated the email correspondence, and the time you had taken to explain things to us clearly. This definitely helped us tremendously in our decision to go to Los Cabos. Thank you once again. We look forward to working with you again in the near future.

Fantastic experience: Greetings To All Readers Of My Post I have known Micky Zed while she was the Manager at Flight Centre's Church Street, Toronto location. This location was used by me for the past while and fortunately Micky has been the only representative that has taken care of my travel needs. Over this period, I found Micky to have a very pleasant demeanour, patient and attentive to my needs and concerns, thorough and proactive. Micky never gave me the impression that she knew what was best for me. In fact I felt that I was special and her only client/customer. Micky was also conscious about containing my travel costs and provided any and every discount applicable. My latest travel request was for a multi country, multi city travel, including a friend joining in on a guided 14 day tour in early 2019, on Nov 20/18. Though Micky was in the process of moving to Flight Centre's Yonge/Lawrence location, she took on my request gladly and by Dec 3/18 every thing was in place and confirmed to my satisfaction. Finally I'd like to state that Micky Zed's service with a smile was exemplary and I will continue to use her travel expertise at her new location.

Fantastic experience: Not usually one to write reviews but I thought this Flight Centre in particular deserved a great review. My sisters and I were trying to plan a trip but were having trouble finding the right flights/time of year to take it. We walked in and were helped by Janet who gave us options and the information we needed to make a decision quickly and without hesitation. Not only will I be going back to this location, I dont expect to book a trip online before consulting a Flight Centre rep from this location.

Fantastic experience: Just booked a honey moon with Flight Centre Yonge and King, and worked with Ryan Bond. I was booking the trip as a surprise for my partner and have to say.....the experience in service and insight was more than I could have asked for. Ryan, was patient, calmed me down more than a few times and became a friend in the process. The service went beyond looking at venues; he offered me insight and really took the time to figure out what I was trying to accomplish. I feel so pumped for my trip and a part of that is because I really felt Ryan and his team had my back. Ryan and the team really set the standard and managed my expectations. Definitely feel like I have formed a trusted partnership for my future travel needs. I wish them continued success.

Fantastic experience: Although my girl already wrote a review, this place really deserves another 5 star rating, no doubt. We came in today wanting to book a multiple-flight for our Asia trip. Note that we walked in completely clueless, and the only thing we absolutely knew for sure were the dates and destinations we wanted to book. Ryan Bond (agent) gave us a better understanding on what to expect and how to properly plan. He was also able to find a flight package (5 destinations) far below our budget. Could not have been more happy with Ryan's phenomenal service and expertise.

Fantastic experience: My best gal pal and I decided last minute to take an all inclusive trip somewhere in the Caribbean and decided to go to The Flight Centre at Yonge and King for some guidance and options. Ryan Bond was excellent and found us the perfect place to celebrate 22 years of friendship and couldn't of had a better time. Negative experience: Agent who served me was distracted, misinformed on basic information, did not email required details, other staff blamed office problems on her failure to follow through. Used fear mongering (yes, a one way ticket for a Canadian is fine to the UK.) An experience I will not repeat.

Fantastic experience: I was having trouble booking planes ticket for Lima and Cusco last October and they handled everything for me with ease. The staff had made amazing recommendations on activities and found me a deeply discounted flight. I normally handle all bookings on my own but they had made it painless and added tremendous value to me.

It wasn't the most straightforward trip and she was absolutely diligent in following up with the various hotels and safari lodges to insure my stay was arranged properly. She went out of her way to following up with me to ensure I had what I needed (e-visa, insurance, etc..). On top of the ever confusing trip I originally planned with her. I asked her to help me arrange a few nights of stay in London which she was more than happy too. Given the time-zone differences and my lack of internet/telephone access she made this change flawlessly. I relied on her to suggest the best London hotel why she didn't fail to provide. I was hesitant on using a flight agent for this as I've always done these things in my own. If i even dared to have started this on my own I don't think it would have ended as well as it did. Negative experience: I wanted to go on vacation to the UK and paid almost one thousand dollars for the tickets. I am a student and had worked really hard to save that money. Then the agent I was working with introduced different insurances to me per my request. I bought a cancellation insurance for almost 200 dollars because what the agent told me was that I could cancel the tickets anytime I wanted and even on the same day as the flight and I would get 100% refund. I had my friend with me and I asked the agent three times if the statement she told me was true and she was sure about it and she confirmed it. Then she wrote my insurance number on a booklet and handed it to me with my ticket. on my flight date I couldn't make it and I had to cancel my flight so I call the agent and tell her about my situation she says, "I suggest you call the insurance company first." When I call the company they inform me that I have to have documented reasons (such as medical) in order to receive the full amount! I was frustrated because the agent had not given me legitimate information! So I call her back and she say, "I told you that you have to have a reason in order to cancel on the same day. If you don't have a reason and cancel 16 days prior to the departure date you get 50% refund." I was furious! She had literally given me false and incomplete information in order for me to buy the product!! When I contacted the costumer service they investigated the situation and said because she HANDED the booklet to me it automatically meant that she had given the information to me!! WTH?? Who actually spends time to READ the booklet?! When a company is trying to sell something the customer puts their faith in the representation of the products by the agents! Are all the agents frauds like this who just want to get your money and sell you useless products? This was the first insurance I had bought in my life and I had no information of how it would work, so she really can't expect me to be aware of all the information when she is just presenting her version of the information of the products she is selling! Not only was I not able to get my money but I couldn't prove that she did not present the correct information to me as a customer. I had my friend with me and she can confirm that the agent was lying! Never buy anything from Flight Centre or at least from the branch located on yonge and King.
