Negative experience: We went on vacation in February, We had Rob help us and he was not helpful at all. I feel like we had the run around all the time, when we got to the resort, we had issues with all our rooms. Will never use sell of vacations again. Worst experience ever.

Negative experience: In June of 2024 we booked a trip for a group of 19 adults, travelling to Mexico. Robert was so helpful with the booking and made lots of promises to keep everyone happy. He and his staff remained helpful up until the point all the people in the group made their final payment for the trip. It wasn’t long after that I started hearing from the people in our group that they were not getting answered to questions. No one would return phone calls or emails. Everyone was convinced that Selloff Vacations just didn’t care about them any longer since they now had our money, and no longer worried about earning our business. We went to Mexico in January 2025 and immediately had problems with our transportation from the airport. Robert had mentioned to myself that Sunwing was trying to arrange private transportation for our group from the airport to the resort. But he had never confirmed this with myself or anyone else in the group, so we weren’t sure on what to expect upon our arrival at the Mexico airport. The Sunwing app only indicated that we should look for their rep “Ana Jimenez”. We were met by Nexus Tours representative and told that they had private transport for our group. We waited almost an hour before they pulled one small transit van around and started loading our luggage. This van was obviously too small to fit our group so I asked what was going on. They assured me that another car was on the way and would arrive soon. So the first van left and 6 of our group members were left behind at the airport. When the second van finally arrived we loaded the final 6 passengers and left the airport. Immediately after leaving the driver received a phone call and next thing we knew we were back at the airport to load 6-8 more passengers (unknown to us). So much for “private transportation”. The driver then drove well over the speed limit, reaching speeds of up to 135 kms/hr. When I reached out to Robert at Selloff Vacations he told me that they have nothing to do with it. It’s all Sunwing’s fault. So sad to run a business that will take all your money and do nothing to ensure the service they provide was satisfactory. Your service was very unsatisfactory and myself and many of the people in our group have vowed to never use Selloff Vacations again. Good work Robert. Selloff should be happy to have you.

Negative experience: Walked in and first thing the agent said to my friend, as she was already there sitting, he said “I don’t have time to look at 100 resorts for you”. Agents were extremely disrespectful to us until we officially paid for the tickets. Becky was nicest tho.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with planning our vacation with Rob Verdon at Sell Off Vacations in London. Rob demonstrates a dedication to his profession with having a significant amount of knowledge, warmth and was consistently friendly. Over several days Rob provided a lot of information through emails and phone conversations of different options, comparisons and suggestions. I didn’t feel any pressure to book a vacation as he was very patient with answering questions and discussing concerns. Rob is very efficient despite how busy he is and balancing a busy season with a lot of different demands. I would highly recommend connecting with Rob when looking at travel options.

Negative experience: I would rate them zero if I had the option. We came here to get a vacation booked as recommended by a colleague. We tried to call ahead to ask if we needed an appointment to come in but the lady we spoke to said we can just walk in. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by an almost empty room, a lady by the name of Rebecca is sitting on her desk asked us what can she help us with and proceeded to tell us that she is leaving on 10 minutes. She helped us for 5 minutes, showed us a couple of options and wrapped up the conversation and asked us for our email. She said she can email us several option and packages by the end of the day. One week later, nothing. Radio silence. Worst customer service.

Negative experience: Bad customer service. Agents hate their jobs. I inquire about a deal on the website and after 40 minutes, the agent hung up on me. I call again, I tell the next agent what happened and he said ok and how I can help you? I asked for supervisor, he transfer the call where the system asks for an extension number. Why would I know the extension number of the supervisor? I changed my mind right away. It is not worth my time

Negative experience: I paid cash for my trip to Cuba not only did they not send me a receipt when finally got my edocuments a day before I left after I called them they misspelled my name. Then when I got there I sent 3 emails and never heard a reply. I will never book with them in person again . Awful

Negative experience: So I saw online that you were open yesterday and drove from Hyde Park to your store [a big drive] arriving about 11:50. Closed and hand written sign that closed from 1:30 til 2:30 for lunch. I tried calling the local number and after hold of 45 min was patched thru to an agent in calgary. Then made more calls still waiting in front of the store till 2:30. I think you can do better.

Negative experience: Would not book through Stacy again. Very unprofessional and immature. I was part of a large group booking to which there was a group chat o we could all stay informed on the trip and what was needed. When Covid became an issue, all the troubles started. When trying to ask questions we were met with tantrums and self pity, at one point was trying to tell our group that she had to pay up $500 out of her own pocket due to us cancelling because of the pandemic. Our flight was for March 21. The messages were only worse from here on out, glad I have everything saved. Absolutely refuse to deal with her again when I need to rebook with my voucher.

Fantastic experience: Stacy Smith booked our Hotel for a group of us in Cuba. She was extremely helpful, had to make a couple of changes our booking, she was very nice and helpful, was able to help me very quickly, I travel quite often and by far the best travel agent I ever had the pleasure to deal with. Will definitely contact her for future bookings. I would 100% recommend her to anyone.

Negative experience: It's funny that a comany this big has no sense to a knowledge the good reviews so I don't expect a reply to this one and maybe the next option is the Better Business Bureau, it's really sad for a long time customer always booking through sell off that you ask for a refund for the price drop difference and it's a straight out no, and when you ask to speak to a supervisor you get thrown back in the queue, very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I wanted to go away and neither of us have been anywhere. We went in to Sell Off and met Ryan and we’re so glad we did! We didn’t know if we wanted to go to Cuba or Dominican and with his help and knowledge we were able to select a resort that we felt we would love. We don’t leave until April but Ryan was a huge help right from the selection of the resort all the way to answering any questions we had after we booked. Negative experience: In all honestly, I'd give one star if I could right now due to past and current customer service. I booked a trip and made a security deposit in case I had to cancel in which it was explained I'd physically get my money back. fast forward to cancelling the trip, my mom and I go, they tell us we're getting credit and it expires in a year and that I could possibly use it to book local hotel's. We addressed the previous issue to which they said there's nothing they can do. When I went to use the available credit to me to book a "local" hotel which THEY suggested, their now telling me that I can't and I have to use the available credit to me, to go to Mexico or Europe within two weeks. I'm thoroughly disappointed so far with most customer service about the issue and I for one will NOT be using this company to book a trip again - Making it sound extraordinary, getting my money back if I do end up cancelling.. probably like every other negative comment says, they just want the commission. That being said though, I've dealt with two positive people that have helped me quite a but through this process, and I thank them immensely.

Out of the 6 times I've used this place it is strike 2 for sell off vacations with me, 2 different agents. I will NOT be going back for a strike 3. Terrible Customer service. Fantastic experience: Stace helped me book my first solo trip ever to Dublin. She made everything so easy! I didn't really know anything about booking trips but she walked me through the whole process. She made booking hotels, flights and day trips super easy. Fantastic experience: Normally I am quite suspicious of service etc from travel agents. However,I got myself into a little pickle and started to panic. I called the above company and spoke to Stacy who proved not only to be professional and looked and solved my problem very quickly. She was both understanding and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Stacy to anyone, and by the way and had never dealt with her before so she is not related to me in any way. Negative experience: Absolute garbage. Booked us the wrong dates. Wouldn't change the dates or take responsibility. We had to book our own flights home from Cuba because they had us coming back too late. Cost us 700$ extra. Not worth it. Just use Air Canada vacations or Sunwing. Just skip these guys
