Fantastic experience: We’ve been CAA members for many years, and our recent experience with Thiago at the Charlottetown location was by far the best we’ve ever had. Thiago went above and beyond from start to finish—he was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He took the time to ensure my car was in the best possible shape and clearly cared about the quality of his work and customer satisfaction. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and professional. Thiago was amazing and provided exceptional service!
Negative experience: $900+ dollars on travel insurance, got a blood infection and had to pay hospital fees of $975. Filed a claim but was denied since it had to be over $1000. Now if I cancel my insurance to get the remaining days in cash, I can’t, because I attempted a claim that I never got.
Fantastic experience: Can not say enough good about the service I received from Steve at the beginning of April. He showed up earlier than expected, filled my flat tire, and then followed me to work in a downpour to ensure I made it. Steve has ensured that I will be a CAA member for a very long time!
Negative experience: They don't allow you to cancel your membership online. You can make an account, but if you want to cancel your membership, you have to call. Disgusting SiriumXM-like behaviour.
Negative experience: I wish I could give negative scores. CAA is a disgusting company that charges dead people long after they are deceased and death certificates have been sent in for cars that have been turned into scrap metal. Absolutely disgusting behavior!!!
Negative experience: Horrible. Won’t tow car because it’s parked at a garage. Ridiculous!

Fantastic experience: Hi there. I am from Halifax and had to call CAA twice over the past month for help. The first young man - his name is Dallas (I think) who came - was exceptional. He was very polite, arrive very quickly (less than half an hour) and phoned when he was just 10 minutes away. He took his time to make sure I was ok and gave me a couple of suggestions. I felt very lucky to have someone like him to provide this service. Unfortunately I do not know the name of the second person who help a couple of days ago me but he was also great. If there is anyway these 2 can be acknowledged it would be appreciated

Mlle je ne suis pas fiere d avoir eu affaire avec vous
Negative experience: Waited over 1.5 hours. For a door unlock. There service went downhill. I recommend switching to Canadian tire roadside.
Negative experience: Dealing with this company is an absolute nightmare , Go elsewhere ! While I was pulling into a parking spot the other driver tried passing us through the parking spots and side swiped my vehicle. I called immediately and put a claim in but it was their emergency line and they told me someone would be in contact with me for more information. 3 weeks later I still heard nothing so I made a call and was told I should go get a estimate to get the car fixed while I wait for them to get in contact with the other drivers insurance to see who was deemed at fault . The next day I went and got an estimate and sent it to my adjuster. 5 months later it finally got approved and deemed not my fault after talking to about 15 different people and many many phone calls. I then was told to go to the rental company in my area and get a rental car estimate and send that to be approved as there is no authorized personal here that they usually use . Gave him a week to approve it and no response so I called again. The lady I got on the phone was extremely rude and basically said no we’re not covering your rental it’s over $100 dollars a day our limit is $50 dollars . I only need the rental for two days mind you. She asked why I did not get an estimate for a small car and I said I’m able to have something at-least my car size which I drive a Jeep wrangler and never was I told my rental will ever have to be $50 dollars from my adjuster or when I purchased the car insurance. she pushed it through to another adjuster who wasn’t the one I started with in the first place and said she would call. My new adjuster called and basically said the same thing in a nicer tone and asked if I could call budget because they work with their prices. Called them and they said the exact same thing $112 dollars a day for my size vehicle. I emailed her a copy , left a voicemail and 4 calls and got no reply. Today heard back and no further ahead then a few days ago , said the rental company isn’t complying with there prices and need someone higher up to call. Was told I can go ahead and get a rental but they can not guarantee I won’t have to pay for it out of my pocket. I pay extra to have the rental coverage on my plan. Now my car is in the shop getting fixed and I will have to pay for another way to work and back. Every time I called this company the person said something different. Would not recommend anyone to go here . This process has gone on about 6 months total for one claim! My last claim I put through was with TD and they had everything figured out and my car in the shop getting fixed within the same week of the claim ! Horrible service.

Negative experience: I called CAA and asked for someone to pull me out of a muddy spot. They refused and said it’s not a “main road” even though I was 40feet off of the main road on a little pull off spot. They said they would call me back and when they did they said their driver REFUSED TO HELP.. apparently it was too bad of a spot and in no way could they help. Well guess what? I called a tow service in the area and for $50-$100 they said it was easy! One click of the winch button and I was out. Thanks CAA pei for Absoulutely norhing!
Negative experience: I called CAA last night as I had a flat tire. After waiting an hour for the tow truck to come I called CAA for a service update. I then waited an hour on the phone only to speak to someone who repeatedly told me she'd look into it and then every time she left the phone to "look into it" she came back and told me she's in Ontario and she couldn't tell me how long it would be and that I'd just have to wait. I waited over two hours just for a tow truck to come and change my tire. For the price you pay for it the service is beyond pathetic.
Negative experience: If I could give no stars, at this moment I would. I would not recommend wasting your hard earned money on roadside that doesn not respond!. My first call for a tow on my class A motorhome was Feb 24, it is now march 9 and I have just scheduled the tow on my own! Thank god I had a back up plan while travelling or we could have been stuck in a very unfortunate situation! All you get are generic response from agents with no care for urgency!
Fantastic experience: Locked my key in the car and a storm was on its way. CAA Atlantic customer service agent was very friendly and helpful. The service truck was there very quickly and we were on our way in 5 minutes and missed the storm.
Fantastic experience: Chad's garage towed on my car twice to Parsons for service in the past few months as part of the CAA package. Excellent,careful, timely and did a bit of trouble shooting for the shop. Finally they solved it with his knowledgeable insight. CAA knows how to pick their people !

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of CAA for over 10 years and it has been a reliable and fantastic service whenever needed. Whether I was travelling many miles from home or in need of a quick boost at home, CAA has been there for me. I highly recommend CAA and the membership is worth every penny. It may seem like you don’t need to spend the money but as soon as you need their service you realize just how valuable and truly inexpensive CAA is.

Negative experience: The secretary was incredibly helpful, helped me figure out who I needed to talk to as a first time buyer and helped set me up. She was also super friendly and helped me feel less nervous. Phenomenal job by her! However, the agent I was transferred to was unfortunately very unprofessional. While trying to figure out information on insurance plans, she told me I should google it and hung up without saying anything.
Negative experience: Called them to get an auto quote. Got placed on hold... After 90 MINUTES on hold I GAVE UP and HUNG UP. Talk about ridiculous!!! No means to leave a name and number for a call back - just have to sit and listen to same message every two minutes to have patience. I guess they're not wanting new business.

Negative experience: Called them 3 times today… Wait time on call 1- 1hour and 40 minutes (fell asleep while on hold). Call 2- 50 minutes. Call 3- 65 minutes and counting. Brutal wait times!

Negative experience: Called to cancel insurance for one of my vehicles. Spoke with an agent after being on hold for a few minutes. As soon as I mentioned I needed to cancel insurance for a vehicle, I was "transferred" where I waited on hold for 90 minutes before an agent answered. No call back service, no estimated wait time, just waiting in limbo, listening to the same 20 second clip of music and " Thank you for your patience" message over and over and over........I couldn't help but feel that CAA was hoping I would just hang up. For goodness sake, at least get a call back service, that wait time is completely unacceptable...On a positive note, the agent was very pleasant and helpful and everything completed in about 3 minutes.

Positive experience: Not the best experience the first time I called but totally saved me from a long night on the side of a dark road a few days later.
Fantastic experience: We had an absolutely fantastic service from CAA this morning! I spoke with Nicole when I initially called who was incredibly pleasant and helpful. We called from within Charlottetown. We were having issues starting our car in a parking lot on University Ave, and figured our battery was dead. 5 minutes (which I still can’t believe) after I made the call, Paul showed up to help. Paul was amazing, informative, and gave us all the options we needed. He also wore a mask and was very vigilant about Covid guidelines. After running some tests he said we needed to replace our battery. He said we could wait and shop around for a deal elsewhere but we decided it was best to do it sooner than later. I don’t know how long it usually takes for a battery to be replaced, haha, but he did it within 20 mins! We are truly amazed with the service we got today. Thank you so much to Nicole and especially Paul. I don’t think it could’ve gone any better today!

Fantastic experience: Great service and rates for home and auto insurance but they also do travel insurance and travel bookings. They also have a very awesome roadside Assistance Program at great rates.
